Actually I think it was...but I think it was done just as Herb was calling the fight. Just when he lifts Robbie's hand up after it fell limp. Herb lifts it up and it basically falls. He's jumping up to call for the end and I'm pretty sure Robbie put his thumb up at that point. Unfortunately it was pretty much too late as Herb wasn't actually looking and had already called the fight. I still think he was out, but came out of it around the time Herb picked his hand up and let it drop.

Yeah. In all honesty, as much as I wanted Lawler to win, seems like a fair call. I hope we get to see a rematch though.

  2. Silva is a good manager. Give him time. Results will come. Today was an interesting day. Who would have said weeks ago that the champions league would be at Man United's reach at this point in the season? It is very close. Of course Arsenal is still in that fight too, so it's gonna be one hell of a season.

I wouldn't count on it being the last movie. The director has said they have a million ideas so if people are still interested, they'll keep making them.

Would not mind, as long as the quality remains. I liked the first 2, the trailer for the third looks interesting. I would not mind more. Did not know about the TV series, though. Is there any date set for it to debut or is it still in early stages of development?

  4. I'm looking forward to chapter 3. I always have fun when I watch the first 2. The first one was the best, but I also like the second one and expect good stuff from the conclusion. The stakes, regarding the story, are high, so it should be interesting to see John Wick vs. "The World." Which is a good place to conclude a series that had those first 2 entries. Now, let's talk about Keanu Reeves being a vampire.

  5. Could I get a logo for my AEW event called WrestleJam on the grey background, please? It will be kind of my Wrestlemania, so if the design is similar to that I won't mind. Much appreciated in advance, if someone decides to do it.

Edit: Also AEW logos for my TV Shows called Thunderstruck and Apocalypse if it is not too inconvenient.

I don't think we will ever be in a war against GDS. We really have nothing against them, nor those who post there. The issue in this case was with The Mod Squad, and not even so much them as people but just their belief and their attempted monopoly on the TEW mods. I pop over to GDS once in awhile, not necessarily to post much although I will owe Mammoth a steak dinner when he finally finishes the 2006 mod completely.

Oh yeah, I know there is no dislike on GDS over here. I didn't imply that, nor was that my intention. It's just someone said those who returned shouldn't stop posting on GDS and I was just saying posting here or somewhere else doesn't stop or disqualify someone from posting in GDS. I like GDS, i even run an unofficial discord community and all. I like their games or I wouldn't be talking about them. I also have nothing against the mod squad. Like I said, i was on their site while it existed and I'm on their discord. No beef with them. But as I said on my posts in various platforms I simply disagreed with the stance they took about mods and it is my personal opinion that credit should always be given but that all mods should be freeware. I mean...the goal should always be prioritize the community's growth and ability to enjoy the game or else there might come a day where there isn't even a game to play, let alone a community to speak of.

  7. Benfica won 6-2...against Braga. I'm a Benfica fan and I'm appalled at this turn of events. 🤣 Also, when is Bayern going to boot Kovac out? I mean...not winning The Bundesliga with Bayern is like not being able to pay a dollar to someone when you have a million on your pocket.

  8. House was great until they decided to split the original team. After that there were good moments, i did have fun with season 4 and i did enjoy the rest of the run, despite the decline in quality. I didn't dislike the ending of him riding into the sunset in itself, just the way it was poorly and lazy written, with Wilson getting cancer out of nowhere, House having to fake his death to not go to jail over tickets on a toilet, for Christ sake... I was kind of hoping they didn't take the easy way out and just make House die, cause that was not just the most expected, but also the easiest way out. And they didn't...but damn, they managed to royally screw it anyway. The problem with the series is that at some point we expect some actual evolution, especially with the House character and not just medical CSI with House not evolving at all just to keep it "different."

Dexter's was awful, Lost was almost the heist of the century, but obviously the heist of the century and worst finale ever was HIMYM. Just...really? Damn...that was the most atrocious thing i've ever seen. I will literally never watch anything else done by Bays and Thomas for as long as I live.

Edit: Also Seinfeld, although I suspect Larry David probably did that on purpose...you know, being that it is Larry David and all...

Well, welcome back to EWB to everyone who has started posting here again. Hopefully we can provide a more cordial, more together community for mod making for you. Please don't abandon GDS though. It's the main board for Adam and the TEW series, and there are a lot of good mod makers over there who still deserve your attention.

    Plus, we're assholes too sometimes.

I can only speak for myself here. This whole thing led me to get back to posting here and, as I see it on the stances taken here, I do believe this community wants to make the best they can to help the game and community grow and so I contributed to it. Again I stress out: I do not dislike anyone, including the mod squad, props to everyone who worked hard in any mod ever made in history. With that said I will obviously not stop posting on GDS, as I am a regular there and support their work as a customer (since i buy the games and recommend the games I like as well) and as a member of the community itself, as well as a fan of some of the sports of their games. but that doesn't mean one can't post here and on GDS at the same time, and in any other place that gathers people around these games we like. I think that one should always do what one can to help the community grow, given we are already not many comparing to other mainstream game communities and such.

To me there is no reason to be at war over a game or a content we all appreciate and that got us all in contact in the first place. So it's sad and mind boggling to me when it happens, for any reason, anywhere. With that said, I know this place is not perfect, but none is, so it's good to be back.

  10. The only thing this discussion achieved for me was for me to get back to posting in EWB, which I don't know if I have ever done with this account (Had another one but forgot the details, and that one was older) or for how long it has been, even if I go reading as much as I can. I just wanna say I voted yes because mods should be freeware and credit should always be given. That's my opinion. I post on GDS, I posted here before and am posting now, i'm on the Nexus discord and posted on their site when they existed. I'm not against anyone and i like the mod squad's mods, but I simply have my opinion about it and I think mods should be freeware with credit given, period. So I voted in favor of freeware. I mean...if the goal is to help the community, why would there be an issue? Props to you guys for conducting a poll without needless drama. Will come back to post more.

  11. My suggestion would be a current day mod, March 2013, as there aren't many of those yet, or almost none, actually.

    >>>

I'm thinking that I'll be doing January 2008. It was a pivotal time period for both WWE and TNA in particular, where both could've been taken in completely different directions than they were in real life. There also isn't any mod out for that time period, the closet being Idol's new 2004 data. Would you guys be interested in 08?

2008 wouldn't be bad. I'm down with that. I would prefer a 2013, but 2008 is very coo

I'm beginning to sense that you don't like cpt charisma's mods very much.

Am I required to like his mod in order to post in these boards? I respect the man's work. There are very few people capable of doing as much work as he does, no doubt, but I have a few issues with his mod, I've discussed them publicly, including with him. It's no secret I would love to see alternatives.I don't see the point of your post. Besides, having a lot of mods from present day time frame to chose from would only benefit us.

To be honest dude, you have done enough bashing of Cpt. Charisma's mod it's becoming annoying now. Nobody has said you needed to like someones mod in order to post here. It's a public forum for people who enjoy playing Rylands games and if it wasn't for people like Cpt. Charisma, the Who and other mod makers, you would be stuck playing the Cornellverse or Mods that are based around 199-2001. So rather than trying to criticism at any given opportunity, make your own mod and see if it gets better kudos than Cpt. Charisma. His Mod is very playable, it's hardly a mod where everything is innacurate. At the end of the day, if he stops making the mods, somebody might not step up and give us a consistent monthly mod.

Bashing??? I didn't bash Capt. Charisma, or his work. I even said I respect the man's work and i'm acused of bashing? Jesus, talk about over protection. I just gave my opinion. And I stick by it. Until the end of times. I also gave my opinion when I said I'd like to see other mods out there. I stick to it. Is it a crime? Did I insult Capt. Charisma or his work? No. I don't insult people, I know better then that, I was raised well. And if someone wants to talk about bashing, why not stop bashing me just because I said something that wasn't an insult but probably wasn't something you guys liked to hear?

Ps: Still hoping the Original poster makes a march 2013 mod. I rest my case. Again, I will be very specific, I have no intention of insulting anyone or anyone's work. End of transmission.

  14. Ok. Well, for starters i would put most of the WWE main eventers in the 80's level. Jericho would be 84, Big Show a maximum 82, Alberto Del Rio maybe 81 or 82, Ziggler no more then 80, maximum, CM Punk would be between 90-92, Lesnar between 88-90 and Cena at 95. The Rock would be a 100. Those are a few examples on how to handle them without exagerating the overness. TNA levels would have to be a lot lower as they are at maximum high level cult.

Is it just wwe and tna that are the problem? U do know this would then make the game possibly harder to play, but if people agree with lowering the overness I could give it a go and test it out to see how it goes

Thats the idea. As it is, the game is too easy to play. YOu just put two main eventers from the E and boom, there's an A* match out of nowhere. A* matches rarely happen, so the idea is to make the game harder, in order to be more realistic. Also, why do you have that many promotions and workers (some of which are rarely used, though right now i can't recall a specific example, but i'll look for it if needed) in your mod? I know that the more the merrier is good in teory, but the reality is that it makes the game super slow, with very hard and heavy loading times. A lot of people have complained about this issue, so it's not just me thinking this. Also, i don't think the problem with overness is only in WWE and TNA, but those are good examples for you to see how to lower it. As well as skills. Lower skills makes an A* match harder to happen. And they don't happen every week on real life.

Regarding the promotion and workers, most were built up from the TEW2005 games, and the rest where added on request, regarding loading times, i only play off a laptop with vista and yes week 1 takes some time but once u get going it seems ok to me. im currently in a tna game from the last mod, done over a year no problem

For overness on the workers side, this is the first time since the early TEW2010 mods people have spoke up about it, id like to hear input from a few more people before doing a mass overhaul, some people might actually be happy of how it is at the moment

I am also happy to adjust peoples stats who you think are either under/over rated in the game, but as Idol pointed out i do the updates because i enjoy playing the game and i want a real world version, but i do have a full time job, and a complete overness overhaul could take me awhile to do

Sure, man, i nderstand. No one's demanding anything, i know i'm not. I'm just giving suggestions and you will do what you can, when you can. It's already good to see that you listen to everyone when it comes to fixing the mod. Most mod makers aren't like that and usually don't want to listen to anybody else than themselves, so extra points for you because of that.

  17. regarding overness, its based similar to the EWR way, if it was more based on real life then alot would be alot lower than they are

And that is your mistake. This is not EWR, it's TEW 2013. And the diference is big. Those are two completely diferent games, with separate mechanics and you can't base these values in the old ones of EWR. You need to work this values so they can fit this game.
