I kinda feel bad that this game was my most played this year according to Steam lol and now instead of working through my backlog of the Arkham games, I've switched to playing NBA 2K24

Decided to have a look at my stats anyway. Playing on medium have 86 wins and 12 loses. Mostly it has been 1 on 1 matches played by myself. Most used is CM Punk.  Used 29 times. 

Have created quite a few CVerse CAWS I wanted to use. Enjoyed fiddling with create an arena and made a few variations from high school gyms to Japan. 

Had a lot of fun matches. CM Punk and his war with Jack Perry was fun. Ended up trapping Punk in the world's most devastating move the surprise roll up. He became AEW Champion. Rematch he did it again. Punk lost the tag team match when he teamed with Christian Cage. This took it to another light's out match. Fire, barbed wire, thumbtacks and of all thing's glass stopped Jungle Boy from walking out with the belt, again. 

Enjoyed battling Ruby Soho as Kris Statlander. It became a war of respect. The same as Sam Strong's time battling The Hooded Kudo in Japan. It made it feel like a hard hitting stiff Japan brawl with trading blows, chops and power moves. Hit the Judas Effect which I use as Sam Strong's Strong Arm Tactic finisher to end several of those matches. 

Next step Tommy Cornell will be created.

Playing this on the Steam Deck and it just sucks that there's currently a bug where there's no audio in the game

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition was the first game I finished on the Steam Deck. It says it's unverified but it runs great!

Would like some advice: this game is currently on sale in Steam but a) I'm not really a football fan and would only be buying to play as Richmond AFC, and b) I only play on the SteamDeck and I've heard that there's anti-cheat which means I'll have to play via sideloading Windows IIRC.

It's currently around USD 13 on sale. Worth it? Or save myself the headache?

Everything I've seen and heard the past month points to this being more of a party game/online game, especially if Stadium Stampede ends up being as chaotic/fun as it can be and not filled with people cheesing.

But for those without friends who can play or who are averse to playing online, this is just something that would be tough to justify full price.  Always possible new modes, creation options, and a host of other things that would naturally extend the 1P experience for a wrestling game get rolled out eventually, but I can't blame anyone for taking the wait and see approach.  Especially in a world where certain gaming companies (looking at you, EA Sports) openly don't give a shit about offline players.

Damn, that's definitely me. Was looking forward to a game where I can just let out some steam and beat people up, watch them bleed. Guess I'll have to stick to Sleeping Dogs on my Steam Deck

Just to update, turns out I still did get the Draft on League Pass, they just didn't show it on the Games section before today.

Not sure if we have a separate Apple TV+ thread but has anyone watched Suspicion and Severance? I watched Suspicion 'coz Simmons (from Agents of SHIELD) was in it; had me hooked but didn't stick the landing, IMO. Meanwhile I'm a couple of episodes into Severance and the premise is super bleak but I can't look away.

EXACTLY! It's like he's so frickin' hateable and I hate how he gets away with it. (Am just at ep 4 at the moment so hopefully he gets some karma in the coming episodes)

I found it was a bit iffy in parts, Selena Gomez seems to only have one expression (are her cheeks too big? I dunno) and sometimes I find the comedy of Martin Short and Steve Martin to be too... corny, but overall it hooked me enough and I binged it. Fun premise and it's a show that doesn't take itself too seriously imo
