The original score is sometimes hardly recognizable after the tinkering is completed

I'm struggling to think of a witty remark that takes full advantage of that line, however I feel I might not be up to the task.

Something along the lines of 'Not after *insert pop star notorious for bland and unimaginative covers here* is done with it' should do nicely.
