  1. Wales did so well. South Africa didn't win, we lost.

    Faletau had a stormer!

I think it was a few of the ref's decisions that mainly contributed to Wales' defeat. Hook's second penalty being disallowed and a couple of forward passes by the Boks' being ignored. Poor refereeing in my opinion.

  2. Can't believe no one recognised Sally Bercow. Am I the only one that watches Have I Got News For You these days?

As well as her, I knew Jedward, Paddy, Kerry, Amy and Tara. But I am a media/reality TV/trash junkie.

Digital Spy reported that someone dropped out the night before launch, so I'm thinking that might have been one of the rumoured "big names". Or more likely, it was some guy from Dirty Sexy Things (I didn't even watch that one) that was rumoured to go it. All the rumours I heard ended up being pretty accurate, accept it was the wrong Pamela from Baywatch and it was a different soap star. Everyone else was accounted for except Darryn Lyons.

When the corrie actor went in he said that he was only contacted 2 days ago to come on the show so his mum packed for him as he didnt have enough time, so it is probably true that someone dropped out

I'm probably guessing Steve Strange dropped out as he was the only one to confirm that he was in discussions to be on the show.

  3. Someone over on another forum actually showed that from the last corner of the lap before the accident, Lewis actually moved five times to try and stop Alonso from passing him; some of them aren't as clear cut as others, but there were definitely two occasions where he broke the rules. I seem to remember he got a reprimand at some point last year for doing the same, so in a way it's only fair. If anything, the penalty was harsher on Alonso, since the commentators said that the accident was ultimately a racing incident and that they shouldn't be penalised, whereas Hamilton's blocking was less a racing incident and more...well, obvious blocking.

Big Brother confirmed for Channel 5 return

Tuesday, April 5 2011, 19:20 BSTBy Alex Fletcher, TV Editor

Channel 5 has signed a deal to air Endemol reality show Big Brother later this year, it has been revealed.

The hit show, which launched the careers of Jade Goody, Kate Lawler and 'Nasty' Nick Bateman, was dropped by Channel 4 last year after a decade on air and 11 series. The programme also spawned a number of hit spinoffs and sister shows such as Big Brother's Little Brother and Celebrity Big Brother.

A full confirmation of the programme's return details is expected to be announced tomorrow. However, according to The Guardian, the deal will apparently last five years and a Celebrity edition is expected to begin in August. A traditional non-celebrity edition will follow in September.

Richard Desmond's Channel 5 has been linked to Big Brother since last summer when it concluded on Channel 4. Negotiations between the broadcaster and producers Endemol have broken down on several occasions, but they have now finally reached an agreement.

A report in the Desmond-owned Daily Star earlier this month suggested that stars such as Charlie Sheen, Mohammed al-Fayed and Amy Childs would be approached to take part in the first Celebrity series on the channel.

Davina McCall, who hosted every series on Channel 4, previously ruled herself out of presenting the show again. Vanessa Feltz, Brian Dowling, Jeff Brazier and Emma Willis are the early bookmakers' favourites to land the job.

Apparently, World WRESTLING Entertainment are offended that they are perceived as a WRESTLING company.

TVWeek.com put out a headline mentioning 'Drew Carey inducted into pro wrestling Hall of Fame'. Later, they received an email from WWE publicist, Kellie Baldyga, demanding that they change the headline, mentioning that "We are no longer a wrestling company but rather a global entertainment company with a movie studio, international licensing deals, publisher of three magazines, consumer good distributor and more."

Baldyga added "No, we don't do wrestling events. They're entertainments. And we don't call them wrestlers. They're superstars and divas."

TVWeek refused to change the headline. They just removed it. She then followed up, writing "I know the perception is that we are a wrestling company but we are actually much more than that--we are a global media company which is how our Chairman and CEO, Vince McMahon, positions us."

    Remove WWE.
