Finally got to the finals of a Legendary KOTR. I already had two legendary cards, Brie Bella and Cameron, and of course my pair for reaching the finals is Nikki Bella...

Shot a +1 at Vulture's Perch Thursday night. Don't remember much of the round other than I was really tired. Just finished up at Crawford Mines and shot that one at -3. 16 is a real pain in the butt there. -3 is a really good score there though. I'm in the clubhouse at -11 for the tour.

Well, my round at Salmasis was a disappointment. I played the front 9 outside the tour last night because I didn't think I'd be able to stay awake long enough to shoot a good 18. Finished the first nine at -5, so I was pretty confident going into this round. Wound up putting 2 tee shots into the water on the front nine and making birdie on 17 and 18 to finish -2. Feels like I should have done so much better than that.

Oh well, I'll probably get my last 2 rounds in over the weekend.

EDIT: For whoever is wondering that puts Baddar and I in a tie for first after 2 rounds.

-7 through the first round. Might have left a few putts on the table, but I'll never complain about that kind of round.

If I've won my quarters in 2 games, but one of the other quarters is at 1-1 a piece and going into a third, if I use my stamina cards before their third game, do my cards' stamina go down, or do they stay the same because I didn't have a game?

They stay the same.

Yeah, my short game was pretty good for the most part. I'd end up rolling through the green then put it 8-10 feet away from the pin and just miss the putt. Making the 10 foot putts really makes or breaks my rounds for the most part. I was just missing them today.

It is a pain. My wind was 8 MPH. Getting the wind at your back there with those greens is just torture. Almost no way to stop the ball from rolling through the green.

Well, Baddar's lead is safe, I'm +5 after 13 holes. Still shooting a pretty good round though.

EDIT: shouldn't have said anything. Bogeyed 4 of the last 5 to finish +9. Missed putts I really should have made. Oh well.

Borman, what's your score after the 3 courses?

I think I'm at +7 through the 3 courses. +2, +9, -4 if I remember right.

Got off to a really fast start at The Links course on our tour, shot -5 on the front nine. On the back I started miscalculating some approaches and fell to -2 going to 18. I buried my drive in a bunker there, and just hacked it out onto the fairway and holed out from 201 for a eagle to close. Man, this game is fun when you hit the shot you want.

Whisper, I guess I've never really experimented with it. Hopefully Baddar or someone else knows.

So I shot a +2 on Cleric's Levy. Left some shots out there because of missed putts, but considering it was my second round in the past week that was a solid score. New England CC was pretty ugly for me though. My short game was so bad I was shooting from off the green for par on 9 and 10. Wound up with double bogeys on both and a +9 for the course. Should have been much better than that. I might get another round in today since i have the day off, but I might just do a practice round or two away from the tour to try to get my short game back before I hit Son Gual.

It showed for me between rounds. During the round it is just showing the leaderboard for that round.

I made it to the semis in my last Epic KOTR. Still just the one card though. Wish I could get to the finals one of these times.

Mark me down as a definite maybe. Tuesday about noon CST I should be good but I can't guarantee anything. I go to the doctor Monday to hopefully be cleared to go back to work so I don't have any definitive schedule yet.

Meac, you have no idea how many rounds I have shot that were as bad, if not worse than yours. Heck, on the New England course you were pretty darn good.

Almost didn't want to stop playing today, I was just sinking putts left and right, and hitting good approach shots too. Don't think I've shot 3 rounds consecutively that well ever.

Now watch me go +10 tomorrow.

I have a few hours to kill after I finish with breakfast so I'm in for a round whenever.

How many people can play a round together? 2 or 4? My oldest will be in school tomorrow, so it'll be easier to get a round or two in.

Yeah, you finished really well.. I managed to 3 putt from 4 feet on hole 1, put it in the water on 6, and hit a tree on 9 (I think?). So with all those issues 6 over isn't too bad for me either.

You're still listed as being live, so I think it'll put you back out there in the same place.

I missed a hole in one on fifteen by a foot though. Hopefully that turned my round around.

Just played Crawford Mines for the first time. Shot an 83. I have some work to do there I guess. Been playing a lot a Whispering River and I'm consistently even par or better there though.
