  1. At such a young age Taylor was a star in the National Football League. He was one of the most feared football players in the NFL and yet he was only 24 years old. It's a shame to see this man go at such a young age, I hope that the Redskins make the rights moves this week and win the game in Taylor's memory. Go Redskins!

  2. I've had the game for a few months now and I love it. Not a lot of my friends know about this game for some reason since I guess everyone played MVP Baseball. I'm like 10 years into my career mode and I've been the same person since I like bought the game. I'm thinking about making a pitcher in career mode, but from what I've heard from their message board, is that it's really difficult to be a good pitcher in career mode. Anyone try that out yet?

  3. Garciaparra agrees to one-year deal with DodgersESPN.com news services

The Los Angeles Dodgers are slowly becoming the West Coast version of the Red Sox after Nomar Garciaparra agreed in principle to an incentive-laden one-year deal, ESPN's Peter Gammons confirmed.

Garciaparra, who still needs to take a physical and finalize contract details, will likely play first base for the Dodgers. The deal has a base salary of $6 million and could be worth as much as $8 million, the New York Post reported.

The Yankees, Astros and Indians were originally interested in Garciaparra but were told by Garciaparra's agent, Arn Tellum, of his choice to join the Dodgers.

Garciaparra played under recently hired Dodgers manager Grady Little in 2002-03 with the Boston Red Sox and was teammates with pitcher Derek Lowe and third baseman Bill Mueller in Boston. Lowe signed with Los Angeles last winter, and Mueller joined the Dodgers this week.

Garciaparra was considered one of baseball's best shortstops for several years while playing with the Red Sox, but his playing time was limited the past two seasons because of injuries. He was traded to the Chicago Cubs midway through the 2004 season.

A five-time All-Star with the Red Sox, Garciaparra hit .283 with nine homers and 30 RBI in 62 games for the Chicago Cubs last season, when he earned $8.25 million. He tore his left groin running out of the batter's box in St. Louis on April 20 and didn't return until Aug. 5.

  4. I've seen the episode three times already and have it on my computer now, I talked to my friend about it. Like you guys, I agree this was the best episode they have ever put on.

    I BROKE THE DAM!

  5. I saw a little bit of the Dent match today, what was this surgery thing that he was out for two months for?

Heh, everytime I think of Dent I think of the commericial with him and Agassi's son.

  6. I really enjoyed the build-up before your ppv matches happened. It reminded me a lot of ECW and really appreciate your great effort in your diary here. You got a reader in me as I am very impressed with your diary.

One thing that I think you should try is not bring in all these new wrestlers at once. It seems almost every show someone else is joining the roster. Which can be good for shock value but can get tiring after a while. Let us adapt more with your current roster, than after a few shows bring in somebody if you want. And I also agree with the person who wants Super Crazy in this diary. I thought he would have been on the first show.

  7. Man was I shocked when my dad called me from work to tell me that the Packers drafted Aaron Rodgers. What a slip for him, must have sucked for him waiting in the green room.

And what another successful 1st day for the Lions again. The Lions always seem to have a successful draft, now if everyone can stay healthy we might be looking at a surprising team next year. Especially if Rodgers (the wr, can't remember first name right now) can actually stay healthy the Lions will be huge. I expect Cody to do great things in the NFL.
