    Liverpool just look tired.

Players peaked a month early or others just aren't fit.

nice for Everton to win something once in a while I suppose

I don’t think you can blame these Nunez and Salah performances on tiredness. They’ve just been extremely poor.

In the run in you expect top players to step up and Salah looks like he knows he’s off at the end of the season. Absolutely terrible.

For me, Doku is playing the ball and Macallister jumps into contact. Surprised it wasn't given but also thought it probably shouldn't have been anyway.

He literally studs him in the chest. As said previously it’s a free kick anywhere else therefore it’s a penalty. Can’t see how anyone can think it’s not a foul.

There's 3 Forest players closer to Casemiro than the one who was blocked. Realistically the answer is "stop standing offside when your team has a set piece", but there's definitely a difference between the two.

There is a difference sure, but there is no guarantee that Colwill gets to the ball ahead of Van Dijk at all, as you said earlier it is subjective. In my opinion both should have counted and to have two similar instances with the same official just days apart will call the consistency into question.

I don't think it's laughable at all, for Colwill the ball drops where he could realistically head it away, for Casemiro Varane isn't remotely involved. Offside is more complex than it needs to be (and I'm still baffled by how we got a penalty against Bournemouth weekend before last), but barring moving back to the 20th century law before interfering with play was added you're going to get these subjective ones. Both correct decisions for me.

Personally I disagree, Colwill very well may get to the position to stop the cross but he also may not. That is where my problem lies, could Varanes block have stopped the shot from being interfered with? I don't think either should have been disallowed. Both for me are perfectly good goals.

I've only seen still images but what was the difference between what happened for Casemiro's goal and Van Dijk's ruled out one in the cup or is it just classic inconsistencies

The explanation I have seen, the difference is that the offside player didn't directly interfere as the blocked player wouldn't have gotten to the ball. Hilarious really as it's all just guess work, who knows if he would've gotten to the ball or in the same way if Colwill would have. Same official made both calls too. The inconsistency is laughable.

  6. I highly doubt ex Chelsea and Man United manager Jose Mourinho would accepted by the fans. Not to mention his football is completely against what Liverpool fans would want from the team. Alonso seems the obvious candidate, beyond him though, I do agree it's hard to see who else fits the bill.

    The term irreplacable fits.

    Gutted. Absolutely gutted.

He fit the club and the city itself so much. His values were very much that of the people here and he's given me some absolutely fantastic memories. Three Champions League finals and a 6th trophy, the battle with City in two seperate title challenges, several cups and importantly the league title.

There's a weird tone in the video. Not to speculate but it feels potentially a health related matter? 'I'm running out of energy.... I will have to announce it at some point' is a quote to take note of

Absolutely adore the guy. Best manager of my lifetime for Liverpool and thank him for the amazing times. Hopefully we finish this season on a high

I am sorry to keep clogging this up with posts...

This is so well put, the man truly fit the club. It was more than a man in charge of the team, as a human being he encapsulated Liverpool Football Club and Liverpool as a city. It was the perfect fit.  Obviously this day was always going to come eventually, it must be how much granddad felt when Shankly left. It's just an absolute body blow. I can't even begin to think who might take over after, as ridiculous as it sounds I cannot see anyone else fitting in the same way Jurgen did.

You wonder if this will galvanise Liverpool's title effort, or distract from it.

Will be a huge, huge loss for the club like - he's dragged them back to the top of the English game and kept them there after what, 25 years of inconsistency and relative underachievement.

I honestly think it will distract from it, speaking for myself, this is such a huge blow. I never want this season to end.

Funny that. Considering Shearer kept making out we should have conceded about 10 goals even though Alisson hardly broke a sweat. Only real ones was Odegaard smacking the bar and the Reiss Nelson one in 2 minutes.

This isn't me thinking Arsenal on paper shouldn't have won that btw. They did everything but score. Just Shearer on commentary was very tedious

Couldn’t agree more, about 15 mins in he was saying Arsenal SHOULD be 4-0 up. I think the penalty against Newcastle last week was on his mind.

the previous few years in which they routinely forgot that injuries were a thing and that their manager likes to play a particularly high intensity style, didn’t sign enough players to fill out a full squad then spent the full season crying about how unlucky they were with injuries?

Or the previous few years wherein they signed the worlds best GK, spent 8m on a left back that reached incredible levels, signed VVD for big money and transformed the team, signed Fabinho out of nowhere to improve on a team that reached the final of a CL. You can look at it either way. There was never a this much talk and will they won't they with signings.

So many factors at play as @stokeriño said if you've started to plan for where you're going to live lifestyle, communities etc. Then you've got money being offered, whats the project at the club etc.

From a sporting perspective, take away my club bias over the last couple of years I'd rather play for Liverpool purely for the consistency of challenging on all fronts. We just missed out on Champions League yet Chelsea were a mess last year.

Also, Chelsea even haven't made another bid yet. Plus he can easily just reject us, go to Brighton and go I only want Chelsea. Then it's up to them to decide a fee. He's not forced to go to us.

Whole things just mad on so many levels and is turning into a big media circus

Yeah I can agree with this and it is all very unlike Liverpool to look so haphazard regarding transfers compared to previous years.

I would happily pick Chelsea over Liverpool if they paid me more money. And that's all it really comes down to.

Also this is really big for people from the Americas, where international broadcasting rights for the Premier League and Champions League both coincided with Chelsea's dominance in England and regular good runs in Europe before finally winning it all.

I just think it's a shame that it is all it comes down to personally. Maybe I am just salty at the whole thing though. And to be honest if a player is only moving for money, it's no big deal for them to go elsewhere. There is more to the game than money

  13. Hi, after being away for a few years I recently started a new game set in 2002, but I cannot for the life of me find a pic pack from this year. If anyone is able to help it'll be much appreciated.

What kind of team are you interested in?

Old Glory looking for new success: Lakers, Celtic
Plucky team with youngsters: Nuggets, Pelicans
Eternal suffering with no end in sight: New York Knicks

I don’t think it’d be Boston or LA, I did like the Bulls with D Rose so maybe Detroit although I don’t like the Bad Boys or the 04 team. I have opinions and things I like/dislike about most teams and I have my favourite players. I just can’t seem to have a connection with a certain team.

Due to no Pittsburgh teams I ended up following the Timberwolves because I liked their young roster and their navy/neon lime green colour scheme. I wouldn't recommend choosing a team based on colours.

I did take an interest in them because of D Rose but with him gone I only really like KAT and RoCo
