  1. Am I the only one who feels that Capaldi's Doctor has hit a new stride and has really found himself since the debut of this series? Everything fits much more comfortably and his character is a lot clearer. I loved the monologue at the end. He's quickly becoming one of my favorite Doctors.

  2. When this zombies vs military/police discussion started up, I had flashbacks to when the same discussion was had over Resident Evil, back in the day. :P

I think the most important point to make is that it really wouldn't have been the same show had it just been Egg waking up in a hospital to someone telling him 'Oh, there was a bit of a zombie outbreak, but it's all fine now'.

    Plus, the whole...

Everyone being infected, regardless of being bit. That was news to the survivors. Meaning, it wasn't broadcast. So while the military/law enforcement were trying to stop the walkers and caring for people caught in the crossfire/dying in accidents/of natural causes, a whole side of the threat that they didn't consider started coming after them. It went from only those bodies of the recently bit, to any dead body of the recently deceased. That's a hell of a change to suddenly deal with.

  3. Prediction for Carol

She's the one who drove the bus away. Was watching everything unfold and snuck in to take matters in to her own hands. Sets Carol up perfectly to be an able-bodied leader with her own group. This makes sense especially when they took the time to setup the fact that the kids she cared about were supposed to be on that bus. Also, she may have been the one to take Judith, if she's alive. Maybe Carol was using zombie guts and blood to sneak in past all the walkers and that's why the baby carrier was bloody.

  4. Possible spoiler regarding the preview clip for the next episode that I'm surprised no one has picked up on.

The clip shown on Talking Dead begins with the Governor telling his camp that "it's only a matter of time before they realize their people are gone." He then begins to hype them in to going to war. If "their people" = Michonne & Hershell, since that's who Governor had in his sights at the conclusion of last week, I'm willing to bet Hershell is going to be killed straight away by the Governor. He'll probably kidnap Michonne. But there's no way Michonne & Hershell are both going to be killed in the woods, and there's no way one man can control two people (one who's amazing with a sword) long enough to secure them, walk them to his truck, and drive back to the camp.

So Michonne surrenders her weapons as Governor threatens to shoot Hershell. Governor shoots and kills Hershell anyway and takes Michonne hostage. That's my prediction.

  5. It's just well written/performed. You have to remember, Smith was/is a fan of Who. It felt genuine because at that moment both The Doctor and Matt Smith were genuinely in wonderment.
