  1. Petition that I should be legally  allowed to murder someone if they won't shut up during a movie and keep asking questions about what's going on, when paying attention to the film and being quiet might clear up the confusion

  2. Delving into retro games from my childhood to pass the time.

Playing Starfox 64 and have now realized that all of Fox McCloud's flying partners are complete dicks.

    Falco: passive-aggressive, jealous shithead

Slippy: worthless and shitty at his job and always needing you to bail him out

Peppy: speaks in catch-phrases and reminds Fox constantly of his dead dad. Joy-kill.

I'm not happy with Wojo reporting that Rudy was being careless in the locker room. It's a locker room, with an extremely close team. Of course there's going to be touching. Even if Jazz players are privately saying that, keep it private.

This is a guy who, two days before diagnosed, touched all of the microphones at his press conference as a joke

I'm getting pretty tired of people treating this like a joke. A younger guy yesterday told me people were being "pussies" for treating this so seriously.

It's so selfish, only seeing it from your perspective. "I'll be fine, so it's no big deal!"

Like...that guy will be fine. Rudy will be fine. I will be fine if I catch it, probably. But it's not about us, it's about who we might give it to.

I know it's stupid but this makes the whole thing feel real for me. Like I knew it was dangerous but this is like millions of dollars

The March Madness news did this for me. Of course, the NCAA is still forcing their players to go play, but to have no spectators...

But hmm, yeah, a world-famous actor and an All-Defense NBA player both get the virus. I mean, what are the odds, there's only 1300 cases in America am i rite

  5. So, I just saw the tiered-contract system and it's the most Vince McMahon thing ever.

"The XFL will use a tiered contract system for signing players.

Tier 1: $25,000 to $60,000 per game: 1 franchise player designation
Tier 2: $15,000 to $17,500 per game: 3 slots per team
Tier 3: $6,000 to $10,000 per game: 23 slots per team
Tier 4: $5,000 to $6,000 per game: 18 slots per team"

So, the guys within the locker room will not only be fighting the other team, but each other for the only high-paid slot. Good thinking. No in-fighting will come of this, I'm sure.

  6. I'm doing some research to get into the idea of going to a Class-A game, since the Bowling Green Hot Rods (Rays affiliate) play right down the street from me. I can't think of a sadder fate in sports than being the Rule 5 drafted guy who gets offered back to his previous team. Like, your previous team didn't protect you, then the new team  that took you didn't want you, so back you go back to that previous team. That must suck

    Live hockey is fucking amazing.

Everyone should experience it at least once. I went from hockey-basher to Nashville Predators fan in one trip that a friend and hockey fanatic thankfully talked me into

    Been to five games since

Michael Jordan is actually underrated. He's so far ahead of anyone else who played in the NBA it's almost laughable. Only people's misunderstanding and use of basic statistics make it seem that he could be caught up to legacy wise.

This. I absolutely love LeBron and still consider him a distant #2

Football should count second assists like in ice hockey.

No idea why on earth basketball doesn't do this either. Is it because LeBron would average like 25 assists a game?

It's the same reason why I still haven't watched Game of Thrones. I was super interested when it started, missed the first season, acquired the first season, and then was just beat down with the bloody thing by people who wouldn't stop talking about it, and all of the media coverage it received through websites I visit. Eventually I'll sit down and watch it, but overexposure killed my desire.

I can relate to this in a way, but it's because my knee-jerk reaction, when I'm told over and over how great something is, is to find it underwhelming when I actually watch, simply because there's no way it was going to stack up to how it was being sold to me. Like when I rented 'Lost in Translation' after all my film-buff friends talked it up to the moon and I found myself really disappointed by it. Watched it again later and loved it due to the lack of over-elevated expectation

Also, playoff hockey is the best time of any sport.

Hockey is my least favorite sport of our Big 4 for me to watch on TV and to follow in general, and yet it's easily my favorite live experience.
