  1. Also, what's the deal with post game stuff to do? Without spoilers, if possible? I'm guessing the Long Gui is one of them, but is there much else? For as much as XIII-2 is an improvement and still has a lot of extra stuff to do, it almost still feels like there's not much in the way of side quests. Most of them are either "Kill this." or "Find this in this timeline and bring it back here" FF needs more Dark Aeon style boss fights and optional dungeons.

after you complete the game you get some extra missions (you have to activate and kill all the cactuars) you get 3 extra missions to kill 3 strong monsters, the long gui you can kill it whenever you want. also you can see the other endings (need the paradox scope). also some monsters appear after you beat the game and you need them to complete the bestiary to get a fragment.

  2. Benji!

Any tips on getting the most out of my monster partners?

Not really. To be honest, it's a pretty shitty system. My best tip is not to bother with a monster medic - they're shitty and innefficient. Train both Noel and Serah up with it bit by bit and have them do the healing work. Sentinels and the Delta Attack paradigm (Comm, Rav, Sen) are life saver paradigm in tough battles, which makes having one of your partners being a sentinel absolutely essential. Outside of that, go with personal choice and experience. Try not to waste your monster boosting items before testing the water with one of your monsters, and make sure that their Feral Link ability is going to be useful (for example, one of mine was a Ravager which used the ability "Friendly Fire", which basically causes damage to the enemy, and then heals your party with the damage dealt, essential for interrupting/delaying an enemy's major move and getting emergency health boosty).

if you want a good sentinel get a pulsework gladiator or a silver chocobo (which you can use in the chocobo's races in serendipity). if you want a good commando try getting Chichou, he is the most op monster in the game.

  3. I counter cheesing with being a douchebag. If you don't know what cheesing is, basically, it's when people mass one unit up ASAP, rush in, and try to catch you off guard. In the lower leagues, for example, nobody expects someone to get a fast Starport and then researching cloaking and send in a dozen cloaked Banshees to take your base out. That sort of thing.

This dude tried to cheese me with a reaper build in my 2nd bronze league match so I decided I'd be an asshole and, every time he killed or started trying to kill my Command Center, I'd lift it off and move it across the map, rebuild, etc. - game went on for nearly an hour doing this, and I had no intention of "gg"ing out and making it an easy win for the other guy.

Douche move, but cheesing is so fucking IRRITATING. I'm going to have to start countering cheese with cheese here. :/

cheese is a term for strategy that almost guarantee a victory, but if that cheese fail you are pretty much doomed. getting killed by banshes with cloack means that you didnt explore enough or you dont know how to counter them. examples of cheese are the zerg's 6 pool or terran's 8-barrack reapers.

anyone play in the US server? GreVeN.342 is my ID add me to play some games

  4. On the reasons why Ben didn't go into the church theories, I thought that he was "invited" (in the loosest sense of the word) to go with Jack as he dies and move on into the afterlife, but he felt he had to redeem himself for his past actions by taking over the island from Hurley rather than passing on peacefully. I don't think Ben is dead but I feel him BEING outside the church (while guys like Miles and Farraday weren't) signifies he was SUPPOSED to be there when Jack died.

i think ben is dead, he is waiting for alex and maybe danielle to remember to leave with them

  6. it's near the capitol building, in the direction of the capitol building, u need to turn left (museum of history side), it is easy to find because its pretty much the only open street around there and is the lats street before capito building; go forward and u will find it, if u go even more far u will find another entrance and a mall plaza's metro station.
