  1. If 4 in 9 is all it takes to be a dynasty, then this Laker team would be the continuation of the 2000-2002 Three-Peat dynasty. I don't think that really makes any sense.

Besides, the Spurs weren't even the most dominant team in their conference during their run. The Lakers have made one more Finals, and have one less title, but also three-peated. Its a nice run, but I'm not sure its a 'dynasty'.

Finally 1 person who agrees with me :)

  2. Is it 5 championships in a 9 year span? Yeah....that's a dynasty.

it's 4 in 9 years. And I guess it's just me to be a dynasty is about domination year after year. With out repeating they just don't live up to any of the others in History. So if they are a dynasty they are at the bottom of list.

  3. My own question is why the NBA assigned Joey Crawford to any Spurs playoff game.

See I was wondering that as well. Till the Lakers won and then I didn't care anymore. :) But on a serious note why is he still in the league when he was suspended last year? He clearly holds grudges against teams.

  4. Might have been a foul. But can't blame last second no calls for all the chances they had to tie or take the lead in this game. Spurs may have got screwed but that's sports sometimes you don't get what you want. And a side note Big Shot Rob is out of Big Shots

  5. Where's y2jerichoholic? Spurs looked OOOOOOOOOOOOOLLLLLLLLLLLLD in that game.

Living in San Antonio I learned that Spurs fans only talk when there winning or things are close. So if the Spurs win game 3 I m sure Y2jerichoholic will be here "talking again". I noticed that all my Spur fan friends cell phones go straight to voice mail when the lakers came back from 20 down. And again when the lakers won by 30. But when the Spurs had a 20 point lead there phones worked great to call me and talk crap.

O and Gratz for Boston to finally win a game that's not at home.

  6. Regardless of who played, its a big win for MLS. While people who are used to EPL and watching footy on a regular basis won't look at it too much, it is a boost for MLS who also were signed for an ABC/ESPN Deal. First time anyone has payed to show a season of MLS. So the World Cup has had a bit of an effect, and the win yesterday helps.

This was a fairly significant win for the MLS guys, and perhaps could generate more interest all the way around for American Soccer.

  7. In other news, Anyone mark at the finale of friends when Yellow Ledbetter by Pearl Jam played? That was unexpected.

It was the only part of the show that you didn't know was gonna happen when it started,so it made it the best part.
