As is not picking Pietersen and Stokes.
I think that likely no result between Bangladesh and Australia will be the point Bangladesh need to advance and thus the death knell for England.
Because Tim Southee wasn't enough

Bangladesh will get lucky tomorrow thanks to heavy rain in Brisbane. Somewhere between 30 and 100mm are expected, to go with the 73mm they've had today. It's not good for Australia, who won't get to play again until next Saturday against the Kiwis in Auckland.
In regards to England, they play Scotland on Monday in Christchurch, is there a chance the Scottish might pull off an upset?

Makes you wonder how there weren't more deaths in the pre-helmet days. Awful news though.
Especially during Bodyline..

I witnessed Phil Hughes debut for NSW against Victoria in the Ford Ranger Cup (our domestic OD competition at the time), and was blown away by his composure, as much as his stroke making. He treated most of our bowlers with contempt, and had he not got a jaffa from Dirk Nannes, he might well have bad a century. Even though my Bushrangers won, I knew there was something special in Phillip Joel Hughes, a fine talent and a great guy who has been taken from us too soon.

Fun (probably easy) Trivia question: Who was the last Cleveland QB to go over .500?
-
At least your teams can win (except Oakland)... My Panthers are so shite, that our last win was against Chicago... and we didn't even deserve that, though it did beat a Mods team...

Given I am just off a suspension, I shouldn't do this, but... a song that can get stuck in your head worse than anything else is this

India won the toss and are batting.
Can't watch this live until the 4th and 5th day, if it gets that far.
it's in India... days 4 and 5 would be a bonus... So... how long before you miss Strauss?
(Disclaimer: I am a fan of Alistair Cook, but seriously.. 3 seamers and Swanny, in India?)
-
Coverage of the first India/England test starts in just over half an hour. Anyone else tuning in?
I'll be listening in from time to time. Just to see how you Poms fair.. what with the Ashes coming up and all.

Silly boy Franck... I know Luxembourg doesn't get cricket, but Shane Warne has taught us to not touch anything we don't know about.... (and yet Warne and Hurley.. nevermind)

Figured that this would be the best place for this, any of you ever play Pro Cycling manager 2009?
I've started downloading it off steam and I want to know if someone who really doesn't understand anything about cycling will be able to get whats going on. I literally don't know how the tour de France works or anything.
never played it... sounds like a Hamster game

Yeah crash will give a lot of people the same time. Gutting though as it took out my preferred sprinters and left me cheering for....I THINK it was Kittel or Veelers from Argos Shimano I was left to cheer for.
Anyway Japanese commentary team delighted because Arashiro was named the most aggressive rider of the day and wears the red number plate on his jersey tomorrow.
Asahiro was the virtual leader on the road.. with the olympics upcoming... i guess i should remove Cav from my fantasy team

Come on Moncoutie! Stay away and get the stage win! Last Tour de France for him this year.
Actually I remember from David Millar's autobiography that Moncoutie is like the perfectly pure and uncorruptable rider there is in pro cycling.
This tour has been fun.. Sagan showing charsima... and we have a crash! involving Cav?
NO!!! HE was my leader in the fantasy!!! Cav gets the same time... doesn't get me the points, though

I put Caravanserai by Santana on at work yesterday. It's really cool. Kinda psychedelic jazz-fusion. I'll be listening to it again.
I've made fun of Cher Lloyd fans.. now it's my turn... I listen to Taylor Swift

Well as a Panthers fans, I wasn't expecting much and the NFL delivered. We can't afford a slow start in 2012, with 3 divisional games in the first month (plus a visit from the Giants), but after that, things do even out a little. I'm really looking forward to Matt Flynn v. Newton in week 5 and Peyton v. Newton in week 10.

For a global game, I am not amused...
Can anyone give be the hometowns of:
Sav Rocca (originally Philly, now Washington)
and Chris Bryan
and Ben Graham (ex-Cardinals)
I have no tangent to go one... but Aussies like NFL, but seeing Sav having Philly as his hometown does kinda sicken me.

I moved to Japan 3 and a half years ago and a year and a half before that I finally got a job which meant that I'd never be able to tune in at 5.35pm on a weekday night to watch the only Soap Opera I've ever followed religiously.
I'm not entirely sure if it would work in Japan, but you could try watching streams of Neighbours at http://neighbours.com.au/ if you're so inclined.

I am a failed Carolina boss... we don't have the balls to go after free agents.... except Greg Olsen (good pick up)

In this World Cup.. Ed Joyce has played on more winning teams than England's captain, Eion Morgan
