  1. Does it say he's still an international? If not I have a feeling it could be Scott Carson or Joe Cole, someone outside of the Premier League.

EDIT: never mind, just saw Gazz's post said Premier League footballer, i'll still go for a former international though, Luke Young or someone just as unimportant :shifty:

  2. Parker and Walcott out, Lampard and Milner in.

Aparently Walcott's picked up a hamstring injury and Parker taken out as a precaution as if he got booked tonight he would have missed the Montenegro game. Other than that seems like Capello's going with the same team that beat Bulgaria.

  3. I disagree, with them signing Alexis Sanchez aswell, someone in the team has got to give and Pep's not going to drop Villa and Messi from the front two so that leaves Pedro. That being said, I don't see Barca dropping Xavi or Iniesta and Fabregas can't really play the holding midfield role so if Barca do sign Fabregas and Sanchez, one of them will have to start on the bench.

  4. For example, regarding Walt and how there was a lot of emphasis placed upon him earlier on...then nothing at all <_< I.e. what the hell is up with that kid! Also, how the psychic who Claire saw told her that her child should only be raised by her, not another - at the time, this made me think there would be so much importance hinged upon her child and the fact that Claire did not raise Aaron after all...but again, this plot also seems to have been 'Lost' - sorry, I could not resist the pun!

Sorry to nitpick, but with just a little bit of creative thinking you can see that this was addressed. Kate raised Aaron, and not Claire, and things didn't work out so brilliantly for her. I think the importance was always meant to be on Claire rather than Aaron.

Hmm...I can see why you think that, but for me personally it just wasn't clarified enough. The way the psychic talked about it, he said it would bring 'great danger' if Claire's child was raised by another. The amount of emphasis he placed on this seemed to say that this 'danger' was not only for Claire/the child/whoever ends up raising Aaron, but perhaps even wider society...Just how he became SO obsessed with making Claire keep her child, to the point of getting her on Oceanic 815 etc, I just think surely the terribleness that the psychic spoke of couldn't have solely been based on Claire rather than Aaron, as he kept on saying that the danger surrounded the child and how it needed her good influence to protect it - as if otherwise, he could become corrupted by any other parent and hence, become dangerous. I just think that if so much attention is given to certain aspects of a plot, it would be good to have (for me) what would seem an adequate justification of such emphasis.

  5. I wonder if he realises that a good few of those questions were answered or that he just didn't seem to understand some of the things. hmm.gif

I agree some of those were answered/could be logically figured out, but for me certain parts that have been left unanswered - I would rather have known something more tangible rather than filling in the blanks for myself. You could go on for ages coming up with things that weren't covered and the CollegeHumor vid seems to just ask questions for the sake of picking holes in the plot and querying absolutely anything (yet this is mainly for comic affect I am sure). For me, the Walt and Claire scenarios are the main 2 I would have liked some clarification on! Obviously there are plenty more that I would have liked to know more of, but I don't think it's right to dwell on the absence of certain things when the actual plot that we are ultimately given is so well crafted. Still though, it would have been nice for at least a brief mention or something within any of the actual series themselves to clear up certain things...

  6. I watched it as soon as I woke up this morning yet it still hasn't sunk in that it's finally over...There are quite a lot of questions left unanswered but mostly it seems apt in that mainly, the final episode emphasizes how Jack can be seen as the main protagonist. We don't learn what happened to the people on the Ajira plane as neither does Jack - likewise, how we don't learn what happens with Hurley and Ben on the island after they are both left in charge. It would possibly be nice to have certain answers, yet ultimately we don't get them as we're gaining Jack's perspective of things. Just like in life you don't get all the answers, it's the same in Lost.
