I can definately say that I got them from PSDProtocol, I used to use other PSD sites, but Protocol is the best one I could find. (If anyone knows better sites then feel free to PM or reply here).
After looking closely (and putting my glasses on) I can see the white outline you're on about, and I now feel like a bit of a prat for posting stuff that looks like that. Any advice on how to get rid of the white outlines?
Would really appriciate any help with it, like I said further up I'm pretty weak at gfx, but I suppose we all start somewhere, and I'm on my way to getting Photoshop CS2 v9.0. Other people seem to have had good success with it, maybe that's partly where I'm going wrong, it's got high ratings and good reviews from what I can see and what I've read. More people seem to favour it than PSP, so screw it, let's give it a shot.....
-
First one would be much better if Silva wasn't stretched. His image is too tall AND wide, it looks pretty poor because of that. (I appriciate it's better than I could do but hey, feedback is always welcome right?). Also, the "vs." just doesn't look right, looks like Liddlev, Silva s.
The second one is awesome! The rough/gritty look you've gone for really adds to it, the action shots really give it something more, personally, I reckon it could be up there as the real deal. The only issue would be the "Ultimate Fighting Championship" at the top, the black lettering is fine, it's the lighter bits that make it too similar to the background, seems a bit weird. Mainly just the U from "Ultimate" and the G from "Fighting", maybe worth darkening the background in those areas?
Anyways that's my 2 pennies, 2nd one has to be put as the better of the 2.

OK, my last ones got a bit of feedback, this next one is probably too similar to my others, BUT, I used different effects to see how it came across, feedback appriciated.
-
It's awesome, but it seems to centre more on Joe than Angle, but hey, it's your poster, who are we to argue :-P
Great work!
-
Yeah the Celtic one is great, but I must agree with STL about the text, but barring that it's superb. Many thanks, might have to pop it in my sig..... Thanks alot :-D
-
That's where I got them from! lol
-
I appriciate your enthusiasm for "GoldenBalls". The graphics look sweet mate, can't say what makes them look so good, but they just do. (If you get bored you could always do a Celtic/Henrik Larsson one, somebody *COUGH, HINT* might appriciate it... just a tiny bit).
Like your sig too, looks awesome.....
-
No! I'd have no idea where to start! I'm probably nowhere near even being an amateur when it comes to graphics lol
-
I personally use it due to it's cut and paste techniques and the option to turn "Draw Opaque" on and off, never quite managed to figure it out with PSP.
I used to use PSP7, but since formatting my PC it's been gone, and I couldn't seem to find a good download of 7, so I ended up getting X.
Cheers for the feedback though, 'tis much appriciated

My first attempt at graphics for a while, I'm not the greatest, I certainly can't do what alot of people do, but here are my attempts:
All feedback is welcome, whether it be positive or negative.
I used MS Paint & PSPX to create them, used a random picture of flames for the background.
Thanks people.....

Yeah the first one is without doubt the better of the 2, not that the second should be ignored. Both are really good, but the 1st one seems much clearer. The 2nd looks like it has too much in it, trying to cram as much as possibly into one poster. But great stuff!!!

After a good read thought I'd give you some feedback.
The concept is great, a really top idea, though getting rid of Raw & SmackDown could be a change too much (my opinion)
Like the idea of bringing back the name WWF, but won't happen, BUT... a great idea again.
Bischoff for WCW, no other option, brilliant choice.
Major pointer though..... grammar, spelling and punctuation. I'm not being nasty, I just want to se you give this great idea the look it deserves. It needs everything to look right, it needs correct spelling, it adds so much more.
This diary has great potential, and you seem to have the ideas to run it smoothly and keep readers interested, and I sincerely hope you do well with it. I'll most certainly be keeping an eye on this, especially looking forward to the 1st of December.
Good luck.....
-
Awesome as always! Keep it up! (Better no say that to Edge after the past episode of Raw!)
-
Smackdown was once again truely hilarious. I decided to read whilst not under the influence, thus meaning I don't laugh for too long. Paultimate Warrior gets my mark! Maybe a few more crotch chops from Joe on the next show, ya know, just to show he's really in D-X!
Keep up the great work Mr. M.....
-
INteresting so far, be good to see how it turns out. Though the way you did the latest ECW results was much better than previous write-up, if you did it like that for Raw (matches & segments and see what the reaction is? Liking it so far though.....
-
Dude, not to be dis-respectful but you seem to hvae to edit every single one of your posts, even after editing you have multiple spelling, grammar and punctuation mistakes, something which Diary readers do not want to see. the feuds are not too bad, but the writing lets it down, get that sorted and you'll be on your way, otherwise, I can see many people turning a blind eye to this diary....
-
I like how you made Triple H 'human'! And a nice backstory, looking forward to it...
-
Nice idea, but a couple of flaws.
Namely punctuation, grammar and spelling (primarily on the Smackdown post).
The main flaw though is that Randy Orton appeared on both Raw AND Smackdown. On your draft he was sent to Smackdown, yet he fought Batista on Raw, then appeared on Smackdown aswell, think that might need clearing up!
Good work apart from that though.....
-
Interesting to say the least, I'm with jayden regarding AJ. Though nobody can question his in-ring ability he always seems to come across as the under-dog no matter which Main Event star he faces, Raven, Abyss, Monty Brown the list continues. BUT I've had AJ as NWA Heavyweight Champ. myself, it's just difficult to sustain a long-reign with him, unless you plan on pushing another high-flyer to ME. I really do wish you luck with this diary, it's good so far, and I like the whole JJ/Raven thing, sounds like it could be a VERY long rivalry between the 2.
Good luck!

SvR07 has indeed been cancelled, won't see it until the next one at the end of 2007 (hopefully!) but SvR07 WIL be released on both the 360 & PS2.
Pro 6 not on PS3? That's a major loss for Sony, I've had the Jap version for PS2 since early May (Approx.) and it's fantastic, not slow like 5, it's back to it's correct game speed, the shooting is much better, and the new "Quick Free Kick" system is an added bonus.
Shame I don't have enough space on MC to edit transfers! Gutted!

I'm currently running EWR 4.0, I'm wanting to update to 4.2, I know where to get the updates from, but what I would like to know is will delete my current save game? Also will it wipe away all graphics I've added to my current game and will it reset all data despite me having latest HV update?
Any help will be much appriciated, cheers.....

Love the idea C-Mil. The lottery is certainly a good way to keep you on your toes, I myself plan months in advance, so it'd be a real challenge losing someone so often as you're doing.
The write ups are great, not too long, not too short, unless it's really needed, ie. the Daniels squash over Devine, very short, but nothing more needed.
Storylines are going well. I'm into the whole Angle/Joe thing. But for me the biggest is yet to come, I reckon Daniels/Cage could be gold should it be booked correctly, and the ending to the 01/03 iMPACT! was really good, a nice way for Daniels to get that shove to the top, rather than a standard push. Not sure if you intended on it going that way, as it does seem very last minute, but whether planned or not, great work.
There's so many other positives to say about this diary. Too many TNA diaries at the moment are all the same, but this really does test both yourself and the readers.
Good luck with it, you've got a reader here.....
