Guys I need help

I recently got Paint Shop Pro 9 because I was told that it is great for designing your own DVD covers and making banners and to be honest I can't get my head around it. I was wanting to create a DVD cover for some fan movies that I downloaded. The fan movies all feature Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees and am transfering them to DVD but can't get my head around Paint Shop Pro 9 to make a good cover. Any help would be gratefully received.

Right ive tried that and it has gotten me nowhere. I am completely graphically challenged and haven't got a clue how to do this. I am wanting to make a DVD cover with several different pics of Michael Myers and Jason Voorhees haven't the first clue how to do it. Can somebody help me out? Thanks.
