What number did Payton wear with the Celtics? A guy I know is trying to sell me a Payton Celtics jersey, but it has #1 on it and I know he wore #20 but did he wear #1 when he was a Celtic and I missed it? If he did than I'll buy the jersey, but if the numbers wrong I'm not buying it

According to the Celtics' all-time numbers page, no player has or ever will wear number one for the team as it's been retired. Payton wore #20 during that season for the Celtics.
