TEW10 Real World Update: July 2011

Here is the my first update, i transferred the TEW05 mod across and alot of data editing was required to fix it, through testing it seems ok to me but if anything is missing please let me know

I will try to help with minor details for WWE:

PROMOTIONS

World Wrestling Entertainment should be named simply as WWE

Set Cole, Lawler and Booker as default announcers, Cole and Lawler as brand 1 announcers and Matthews, Booker and Cole as brand 2 announcers

TITLES

WWE Unified Divas should be simply called as WWE Divas

STABLES

Michael McGillicutty should be added to the New Nexus

TEAMS

Hawkins and Ryder should be an ocassional team, not regular

Lay-Cool should be an inactive regular team, not regular

McGillicutty and Harris should be an inactive regular team, not regular

Team Blondetourage should be an inactive occasional team, not regular

Rhodes and Dibiase should be an occasional team, not regular IMO

ALL WWE occasional teams you have should be inactive occasional teams IMO

Add Otunga and McGillicutty as regular team

I haven't even downloaded it yet, and yet I already fell in love with you just seeing that you made this. Not such a big fan of the mods over at GDS.

EDIT: Just checked it out and gotta say I am a bit disappointed in the promotion products. Looked at what you have set for Chikara and you have "None" set for Lucha Libre, and very low set to "Risque" when it should be none.

yeah i got the game a couple of weeks ago and converting the 05 mod to 2010 turned out more difficult than i expected, remember this is only the first release. bound to be some teething problems, and thanks for the wwe/tna and fcw updates, im noticing the default announcers which is likely the case for most promotions.

you also may notice alter-egos are empty - this is a working progress as i wanted to get the first mod out

Movesets - most people are set to there finishers that were in tew05 so any moves you want added/removed just post it on this thread and i will sort it for next months mod

Australia - wasnt in tew05 so overness may be incorrect for promotions/wrestlers, so any advise would be grateful

I figured I would quit my complaining about small imperfections and instead try to lend a hand so I am working on setting the products for some of the promotions I follow. Gonna toy around with products for Chikara, ROH, PWG, WWE and TNA at least and after I test them out to see how the AI books them, I will post what I come up with.

EDIT: Also just noticed you have Larry Legend in DGUSA and EVOLVE when it should be Larry Dallas, who you have not yet added to the data. And I don't think Dallas is in DGUSA anyway.

Remove Mike Quackenbush, Adam Cole, Kyle O'Reilly, Sean Davis, Tony Kozina, Austin Aries, Amasis, and Ophidian from EVOLVE. Add Frightmare and make a team with Jigsaw as a carnation of Chikara Sekigun. Michael Facade, Jason Gory, and Tony Nese all need to be added to the game and the EVOLVE roster (perhaps peek at another mod for stat ideas?)

Gran Akuma needs to be removed from DGUSA, as does Ophidian.

Add the stables of Ronin (Chuck Taylor, Johnny Gargano and Rich Swann) and D.U.F. (Arik Cannon, Sami Callihan and Pinkie Sanchez) to DGUSA. Also add Blood Warriors (CIMA, Naruki Doi, Brodie Lee, Ricochet, Ryo Saito, Akira Tozawa, BxB Hulk and Akira Tozawa), Junction Three ( Dragon Kid, GAMMA, SHINGO, YAMATO, Masakki Mochizuki, PAC, and Susumu Yokosuka).

EVOLVE needs to be set to a regular schedule as opposed to a touring promotion as it is currently set. I suggest creating an event titled EVOLVE that is numbered (with the next being 9) and setting it as montly.

JAPW and Pro Wrestling Respect should be removed.

The Japanese promotions should be set to touring schedules for the most part.

I think the issue with TV shows getting dropped is that the networks have a minimum fed size set that is higher than the promotion it is hosting.
