  1. And the Knicks' winning streak ends at home vs New Orleans.

Was hoping that, when the streak ended, it would've been against a better team. Hopefully New York is better prepared for Dalls.

The Knicks played this game like they were exhausted. They really did an awful job. Then at the end of the game, every call was in favor of New Orleans.

They played great against Dallas after the day off, which was great. That was a really solid game by both teams.

D'Antoni's known for only using 7 or 8 players at any given game. Even when Carmelo and Baron are ready to play, it's unlikely he'll go 9 or 10 deep to spread out the workload.

He might need to change that since the schedule is so packed every week this season. Most likely he won't and that might catch up to the Knicks down the line.

  2. You have to retire Carter's number, generally I feel any Hall of Famer who played for your team for a significant time deserves their number retired.

And also as Meac spoiled, Ibanez will be DH for the Yankees this year. Big pickup.

I don't think that's a good rule, damshow. If that was the way it was, most of the current Yankees's numbers would be in the 30's or higher.

Ibanez on the Yankees is a great pickup. He can still hit and he will be more rested than if he was playing in the field every day. I'm very happy about this news.

  4. Eh, either way, he was fairly underwhelming as Banner. As usual it was just Ed Norton being Ed Norton, which has gotten fairly boring.

I love Ed Norton's acting and I thought he did a great job as Bruce Banner. I'm still very interested in the movie and I'm sure Ruffalo will be great for the part. If there needed to be a replacement, I think he's a solid choice.

  5. I liked the South Pacific cast a lot more. Hopefully, I grow to like the competitors as time goes on. I really can't stand Matt, though. I hope he gets voted off early and he's just dumbfounded because he thought he was the leader.

The girl who broke her wrist was very dumb. Jeff kept saying to land on your back and nobody listened until this girl was hurt. I feel bad for her, but there's a reason Jeff says how to do things. I would be much more concerned about my safety and not injuring myself than winning a silly competition. If you get hurt, you're off the show anyway. It doesn't make sense to put yourself at risk.

I really enjoyed the tribal council at the end. The girls started going at it and it throws in a nice little twist for things to come. Should be very interesting.

  6. Thor had the advantage of being funny and realising that it's ridiculous. Cap was still a great movie but I preferred Thor.

That's exactly how I feel. I think all the Avenger movies were awesome.

I'm very disappointed that they aren't gonna have Norton play Hulk. The movie's gonna make enough money to pay him. They should've just signed him on.

  7. I know the Kings aren't a great team, but the Knicks really blew them out. Lin had another double double and the team really meshed well together. The Knicks look like they really have some depth, too. If they start playing better defense and keep playing with chemistry, I really think they can compete with Miami and Chicago at the top of the Eastern Conference.
