  1. First video of the online game.

    First impression.

    1. Looks absolutely gorgeous.

    2. Gameplay feels like every MMORPG ever made. (+ there will be tons of ideots since it´s a big name release)

So at that point i was like. Looks like it will do just fine with out me. At least if it´s not free to play i think i rather play a offline Elderscrolls game and enjoy the rich beautiful game on my own. But than...

    3. PVP Battels. This looks over the top epic. (and i say that in the full knoledge of that word being overused on the web) If i don´t get the game day one, i will defnetly pick it up at some point were it gets cheaper to play the PVP once.

Eh... the game looks great and all. I just am not that excited about it. I like Elder Scrolls because it plays like a MMORPG w/o the online aspect. Personally I wish they would just continue the franchise with games every year or two.

  2. I wouldn't be surprised IF a team like the Jags move to LA, they would keep the divisions in tact. When re-allignment happend there were multiple examples of teams all over the place. I think the NFC WEST was one example which had a team in Carolina, Altanta, New Orleans and Kansas City St Louis. There were other examples as well, so I do not think the NFL would shuffle up the divisions again.

Edit: Accidently put Kansas City, instead of Saint Louis.

  3. I always wondered what Carr's career could of looked like if the Texans stuck with him instead of getting Matt Schaub, and if the Texans would be having the same luck they are having now. Even though their line was as bad as it was, Carr did a lot for what he had. He also had a career high completion percentage his last year in Houston also.

Could it have been a sign that there was better things to come from David Carr? I guess we will never know.

Houston still hasn't ever improved their offensive line. Yeah, they signed Schaub. Yeah they signed Andre Johnson to a huge deal. But they still haven't addressed the offensive line. I don't believe things would have ever changed. Matt Schaub =David Carr 2.0

  4. I've been watching the Draft for a loooooong time, and I don't think I've ever heard this much outright booing with the picks. I don't think anyone has actually been cheered.

It took nine-teen picks..... but Prince Amukamara finally got cheered. Course, he went to New York.

  5. Its never good for a coach, when you are on the hot seat and your GM drafts a rookie quarterback. If I were Jack Del Rio, I could start a membership to MONSTER.COM and get my resume ready.

BTW, as Niner's fan I am LOVING their pick. Locker to Titans is also a GREAT fit for him.

  6. One would expect them to take over the Mets at some time. I also wonder whether this would have happened had the franchise been the Pirates or Royals.

Baseball did it with the Expos and the Rangers.....so, yeah they probably would I think.

As for the Mets, baseball (MLB/BudSelig) seems to be trying to keep the Wilpons in charge of the Mets. They have issued them two loans so far right? It appears from afar that the parties in charge wants to keep the Mets ownership together if at all possible. With MLB blocking the Fox/Dodger's deal.....it seemed to be the opposite with LaLa franchise. Baseball seemed to want the McCords out, (that is the Dodger Ownership correct?) and blocked any attempt to help them out financially.

    That's just my opinion anyways.

  8. Its been a couple of years for sure. I would say all the way back to their second World Series run. And for me, I think Beckett's success is CRITICAL for Boston long term...meaning post season. He is the one pitcher they have, that when he is on is an intimating pitcher. The quality of their pitchers are top notch, 1-5. No doubt about it. But in my opinion, he is the one guy in that rotation that when he is on...no one wants to face.

It was nice to see him have a good showing tonight.

  9. I may be in the minority here, but I am disappointed in the result of the result of the day. Don't get me wrong, the back nine was amazing to watch as a non-avid golf fan, and i enjoyed every moment of it. I think at one point, what.....six/seven people were tied for the lead with two or three holes to go. However I have a feeling that I will totally forget about this day in a matter of weeks because of who won. For me, and I am assuming it is that way for a lot of people..... I will struggle to remember this day because of that fact that the winner will more then likely go on to do nothing of major significance. And that is sad considering just how great the day was, if someone of notable success (even outside of Mr Woods such as Adam Scott, KJ Choi, McElroy even) would have won the event, I believe this one have been one of those Masters that you remember for a long time. Instead, I'm afraid it is going to be nothing more then a footnote and the fun day of events in the back nine will be forgotten.

  10. Maybe someone who follows the Lakers closer then me would be a better judge on the subject.....but I could also see Bibby being a good fit for the Lakers since they have struggled with the point at certain times during the season. But yeah, the Heat were the first team I thought about when I saw that he was released.

  11. I'd prefer Carson Palmer over McNabb.

    WHY?

Maybe because Palmer is younger, is coming off a better season, and ya know.... hasn't gotten to the point of his career where he gets benched for Rex Grossman?!?! :w00t: Don't get me wrong, Palmer not a real option, nor is McNabb a bad choice. Especially considering the Niners are looking at another season with Alex Smith or a rookie QB. However as I said, Carson Palmer is not an option. The Bengals are going to call his bluff and make him retire before they trade him. They didn't cave for Chad Johnson, why would they cave in with Palmer?

  12. As a 49ers fan I am really hoping that we can sort out the QB situation this offseason. Even if we don't improve elsewhere that one move alone would be a good thing.

If by "sort out the situation", you mean they bring back Alex Smith then you are in luck... :w00t: .... ha ha, actually as a NIner's fan as well, I would love to see McNabb come to the Bay area. I know he isn't the QB he was back in his prime, but he could play a Big Ben type of role where they lean on their running game and defense, while needing him to make only a few big/important plays a game. But meh.....who knows with the CBA what they will/can do.

Speaking of San Fran..... it looks like their new stadium in Santa Clare may be on the verge of falling through. Link If this happens, and no new stadium deal can be reach.....I just wonder how long it will be before the Niners join in the "speculation rush" to be the team that ends up in LA, along with San Diego.

  13. I don't know what's worse. The AP not being able to accurately report their awards right, or that someone actually voted Haloti Ngata...... I don't mean to knock on him like he is the defensive version of Alex Smith. But come'on REALLY?!?!?!?! He's maybe the fourth best player on his own defense behind Ed Reed, Terrel Suggs, and Ray Lewis.

  14. From everything I've read.....and again DMN would probably be more knowledgeable on the situation then I would since my favorite team plays on the other side of the bay, but from everything i have read on this, it seems to be Al Davis wanting to elevate Hue Jackson , who is one of his favorite coaches and is someone who is getting a lot of interviews (all be it probably because of the Rooney Rule, but still). I tend to agree it is wacky, but isn't that the Raider way? And to be honest.....doing things that are perceived to be wacky has won the Raiders a lot of games, including a couple Superbowls. So meh, Al Davis can do whatever he wants. Nothing he does really surprises me.
