  1. Wow (hadn't even heard about this before) but I downloaded the demo after reading this and it really does kick ass. It's a pretty fun game, and looks really nice.

The prescision shot looks awesome. Sure, we've all seen it before, but it just looks really nice, and for instance, while aiming, I accidently shot the guy in the hand, and he did this whole fiasco dropping the gun and grabbing his hand thing, just overall had really nice presentation.

And I love the stand off's too. Only thing I sort of dislike, is that I think there should be a button for sliding across tables, because as it is now, you do it by just walking into them, and while that looks cool, and it's not really that big of a deal, I had this thing where I would slide across like every table I walked by without trying too.

  2. The last Firepro game I played was back on the SNES(or rather, a SNES emulator). What bothered me was that it had a lot of 'real' wrestlers, but they all looked only vaguely like the wrestler they were modeled after. A guy in black tights with a purple triangle on the side? that's Bret Hart. a guy with green tights and a funny squiggle of color on his face? that's Sting. Does anyone know if the modern incarnation of Firepro has better looking imitations of real wrestlers?
  3. Ok, I'm just curious, for anyone who's actually played it since I'm not exactly sure how it works. How exactly can you create your own ring/logos all of that stuff that I'm reading about?

Do they have like a bunch of preselected options that you put together (Although I'm guessing no, since I've seen ROh, TNA, ECW etc rings) or is it a blank slate you have to do pixel by pixel? Or like an MSPaint mode or something?

And how easy would it be?

  4. Yea, that really was a crazy fall..and the more I watch, the more I just think damn...that would suck. Just think, once he's there..he's there, he had nothing to hold on to, nothing to grab onto or anything...he was just pretty much waiting to hit.

Lucky for him, he seems to know how to take a fall pretty well (even though it still looked nasty) because trying to land on his feet, or even face forward somehow would have been a lot worse

  5. Don’t know, i just saw the video presentation that someone posted and it looked like a fulltime job, create an avatar, have all the world (cell phones, webpage’s? how much of that was really in game?)

If it’s an single player game I got it all wrong, but in that case there will still be the point that you have to pay a Shitload of money on Hugh fake instruments for more than single player mode.

It all seems to have for buttons only anyway, why not just use the 4 on the controller? >_> Or is that possible with Guitar Hero?

  6. I'm with Matzat on this one. I play guitar, and have never found the appeal of Guitar Hero. My highlight of playing the game was playing Motley Crue, and I can play most of their songs on a real guitar anyway.

But that's BECAUSE you play guitar. For people like me who can't play the guitar, it's fun to be able to pick up the controller and just play without having to spend an age practising.

  7. Two things

People Shout at Nintendo for going different wais with controllers?!

Besides your PS2 you need a game and at least one big expensive controller, if you want to play it with your real friends (haha ;) ) you need even more expensive controllers and a lot of space…. You guys know that you can get an AWESOME Marshal starter kit with Electric Guitar, Guitar stand, Guitar bag and amp for just around 300 Euro? It´s not that i don´t like the playlist - but if you just invest a little more time in training than you do in playing games you can play every song you want on it.

    (+real guitare = girlkiller, rrrRRRr)

Don’t get me wrong, I enjoyed playing that one arosmith game when I was young, but that did come with all you need for the normal price of a game and after a couple of day you were finished. This is an insane amount of money wasted on being alone and playing on the internet to gain more and more skill without ever being able to create real music. I can see the marketing concept working but it’s sad in so many ways… just puts our society more in a bad light.

  8. No, I think its graphics are tremendous. The problem is that I don't care for these amazing graphics (and the lack of a HDTV means I cannot fully experience the cinematic cut-scenes as they are intended anyway). I'd rather play something like Hexic, but then that's just my personal preference when it comes to games.

Resident Evil on the Playstation was just as infuriating, because that forced you to sit through cut scene after cut scene. I much prefer a game like Crackdown, where you can do as you choose. GOW has a predetermined path, and IMO is too much of a story/film and not enough of a game.

Online is much better, you are right (although I suck at it lol)

As for Viva Pinata, I didn't get it in the end. £45 ($89)? I think not. HMV have it advertised online at £30, but is priced at £45 in store. What the fuck?

  9. I suppose it might be a pain in the ass (I don't do it) But if you REALLY wanted custom themes, all you'd have to do if your on Xbox is play it in the background while the guy's coming out...

And unless you're one of those that plays all entrances every single time they play (which most people I know of don't) then doing that once or twice should be good enough.

  10. yeah triangle in a strong grapple does it as well. I still can't take the signs from the crowd. and has anyone had any success in doing the table glitch. Supposedly when your in the crowd. Break the table then whip the opponent into the side. place a chair in front of him and then strong grapple him to throw him over into the other crowd area. you should glitch through the barrier.then you can walk around and pick up the spare table that spawns in the crowd and take it into the ring. You can repeat this as needed to get as many tables as needed
  11. So...here's an odd one. During a match as Eddie/Chavo against MNM I thought I heard some odd banter between Cole and Tazz but I disregarded it. Then during the M vs N & M challenge it came up again and i'm not 100% sure i'm hearing it correctly. Share your thoughts.

Tazz: "this nitro is cocky, as opposed to you cole, you just smell like cock"

Cole: "Er...Tazz...i think you might want to think about what you just said there"

Tazz: "why am i not suprised that's the first place your mind went"

So after finishing the M vs N & M challenge I completed Superstar challenges and bought Mankind with the bonus cash. What do I find in Legend Challenges?

    Handicap/One on Three

    Dude Love vs Mick/Cactus Jack/Mankind

    Fuuuuuuuuuck you.

Also while i'm here I find it extremely hypocritical that we can't use CAW's online that have any form of design on them, presumably in case we write DIE DARKIES or such on our shirts. Yet in the soundtrack there is a song that starts with a guy saying OK in an elongated fashion that sounds like 'Oh KKK'.

  12. Wait, you say Kazaam and You Got Served didn't suck as bad as Bottom 100 worthy films...then you say Gigli did deserve it? What did Gigli do that those films didn't to deserve that stance, out of curiosity?

Kazaam offered some nice entertainment because even if you didn't like it you could make fun of it... You Got Served was bad, but not bottom 100 bad.

  13. I can understand why women want Kaysar and Howie in, I can't understand why a guy would. They are both terrible at playing the game. Kaysar got two chances last year and looked like a total dumbshit both times.

Will dominates again - book it.

Kaysar because he is cocky, and Howie because he is damn funny
