I haven't been online to play my game and won't be until tomorrow after class at 1pm, if that's an issue then I'll have to be simmed. I will play tmrw at roughly 1pm though. Just haven't been in any shape too as I have a black eye and some broken ribs, long story.

I won't complain either way, whatever works.

Yeah it has been a great game thus far, thought Jeter was going to go deep with a guy on first his first at bat and then he hit a ground rule. Great atmosphere in the stadium, really fun to watch.

Yeah I had that once in this either against you Pat or against the CPU in my last game I can't remember.

Went 3-2 against the spread yesterday in the NFL, hit Colts -6, Cincy -6.5 and Dallas -1.5. Missed San Fran -3 and Carolina -3 late, terrible.

It helps to actually tweak the whole entire slider system and not just say, CPU QB accuracy or other things start messing up. At least that's what I've noticed from my experience years ago, just started playing with full slider sets on operationsports. Haven't had the chance to get a set going for this game yet as I got wrapped up in NHL a few weeks ago. Gonna try the All-Pro set and All-Madden set I found and start a franchise with them.

I shouldn't have listened to those five hours of pre-game coverage on the NFL Network. Kept talking up the Cowboys defense playing better than people think they would be. Typical.

Does your cable provider not offer RedZone? It's only like $60 or so.

Jeez, I only pay $35 on my provider for full coverage of every top American sport including college.

In comparison paying just for the channels that show my local games (hockey), thursday night football, jays games, etc. are about the same price as the full sports package was.

Down to play Madden, NHL, MLB The Show. As well as Fifa, NBA 2K, WWE upon release; and the Golf Club when I get it next week.

Not a text sim, and it doesn't cover much of the sport itself, but if you want to simulate the off field life of an NFL player, Sims 4 will let you take drugs, abuse your spouse and neglect your children. All they need is Strip Club DLC and it would be the perfect off field simulator.

But what if I want to simulate college football? Will I be able to party with Drake or steal crab legs from the local grocery as well?

All this talk makes me miss Blitz: The League even though it was only out once. The option to juice up your players and bet on games and send hookers to the other team to try and throw them off the night before the game, all priceless. Eventually someone else needs to try and make an "M" rated football game with just as much off the field focus as on, even if it just is a text sim. I don't even care if it's all fake gimmicked players because of it, if the content is there it's there.

Anyways, are any of these football sims worth checking out? Like FM/OOTP baseball level? Or more like the last hockey game that came out? Skip-able.

Someone was saying this was the most user friendly football game to date. Is that true? I love to play football games from time to time but I never really understand what I'm doing.

I don't know about "user friendly" while playing each game; but there are an extensive amount of tutorials available to pretty much teach you everything you need to know about football and the control system. The full tutorial and levels may take up to an hour or more but if you're an inexperienced player or lack general football knowledge, it's a huge help.

The different skill options all vary on how much help you get from the AI as well in terms of what your controlled player does. I'd say overall they've made it a lot easy for inexperience madden/football gamers to just pick up and play, regardless of tutorials, etc.

Look out for me on the tour fellas Awesome feature for this game, really puts it over the top in my opinion. Customization to the max as well as a tour mode, you got my support.

Yeah the speed must have been a huge issue, I had no chance in the first half of both my games until I got used to it and scored some points in the second half of both games. Not making excuses as I deserved to lose both games with some shotty defense and bad ball protection (mad interceptions with Luck ) Probably my favorite game I've played thus far was against Pat, great little game even though he dominated most of it, I got lucky and almost came back. Haven't gotten a lot of time in with this years Madden but this league has helped a lot, thanks guys!

Hopefully I can figure my shit out and wake up, beat the Jags and start the road to the playoffs at 1-2

OMFG THAT WAS SO COOL.

Just finished a game at Rogers Centre, and the announcer was giving advice for transit—and he, like, legit used street names and subway stops in Toronto. That was so fucking incredible.

Also, the game got out of hand, and had to be stopped for a minute to deal with a beach ball in left field. The game cut away from me pitching to Joey Bats dealing with the ball. Little details are so god-damned cool.

Yeah being from the GTA I noticed that during my season with the Jays, remarkable little addition. The Show really is the most realistic sports game out.

The plan is to keep doing the NXT specials quarterly. We won't see another until Decemberish.

Yeah I get that but would it be possible to do it in the game? Without creating every event manually?

With an automatic monthly setting we would see those events frequently.

I think the idea is that since it's not currently happening in real life, and isn't in the plans to do monthly for NXT, adding a monthly special would be counter active to the realism aspect of the data.

However, if you wanted to you could easily edit that in yourself and it would happen.

Anytime tonight before Raw/MNF, or any other day before the weekend you can after 6. I'm also on the east coast so not a big issue.
