Near an island to the west of the Forgotten Continent. You can tell where by the small reef in the corner of the picture. I'm now on disc 4 (I move really fast), but I lack the funds once again. My current party is Zidane, Garnet (renamed to Sarah), Vivi and Steiner. They're all in the 60's for their levels and each of them has learnt every ability. I intend to train Eiko and Freya next, Eiko for her Full-Life ability and Freya because of Dragon's Crest. I'm hoping that I will be able to defeat Ozma in this file, it's something I've never done.

Have you tried "Ocean" yet?

Let Vivi win the Festival of the Hunt at Lindblum (Disc 1)
Got from Chocograph 6, Cold Field (Disc 3-4)
Win from Four-Armed Man at Daguerreo/Right Hall (Disc 3-4)

I'm pretty sure that particular item makes other appearences, so either my memory's gone, or the guide's wrong...
All in all, there's an equal chance here...

You can get it later, because I'm too stubborn to let Freya win. I'm pretty sure there's a person who uses only "Transport" cards, and it may even be an item on the map (IIRC)

I wasn't sure on how far away these places are from anywhere, considering I live near the city...
You could always try E-Bay... =\

Anyone in Australia know which type of stores still have any of the PS1 FF games in stock?

I recently stumbled across a program that offers CCGs (Collectable Card Games) for free online play. Not any of the major ones, mind you, like Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh, but lesser known ones, specifically the Wheel Of Time and Monster Rancher CCGs (there are even plans for releasing a CCG based on Monty Python And The Holy Grail!). I knew there was a WoT game out there, but cards are relatively hard to find inside the US, let alone in Australia.
Anyway, I was wondering if there is anyone else here that plays on this program (or has even heard of it), and if so, are you up for a game? I'd badly like to try my hand at the WoT game...

The only ones I haven't beaten are the online ones, and the ones that have an additional name (EG: Tactics, DoC, Mystic Quest, etc)
The weird thing is, I could only finish FF8 once. Even if I loaded up the exact same file that I used for finishing it the first time, I always get killed... =\

Sorry for the double post, but it's been 10 days... and I finished a demo of what the new "Buddies" will look like. For legal safety, Buddies will now be referred to as Sprites...

Identity Theft FTW!

My signature doesn't say anything about it, no!

How are the Ravens doing? I'd like to keep up to date, but we don't really get it here...

Magic wand with 0% Tolerance. If that still leaves some white, try again with 5%. Obviously the ideal level is where you get all the white, and none of the renders. When you've selected all the white areas, cut and paste (NOT copy and paste) it to a new layer, and edit from there.
If you don't have a program with layers, it's much harder...

Well, the renders are a bit too aliased, especially on Trips. The text is a little over-powering at that size, and HBK's a little too over-exposed.
That being said though, I do like the simplicity of it, off-set by the render to the far left (Who is that?)

1) ---GOOD POINTS---
Effective use of background renders, and good cut for the main render.
---BAD POINTS---
Nothing major, except the way the grid is designed, it hurts my eyes a little. It's also a touch dark for a backing effect... The text is a little plain, but again, not a major issue.
2) ---GOOD POINTS---
EXCELLENT use of the scanlines with the grungy background. Makes the whole piece look much better. Once again, the render works with the background, although it's more subdued, which I like. Good glow on "Edge" as well.
---BAD POINTS---
The other text looks wierdly spaced, especially "The" and "Rated" being too squashed, and "Superstar" being too far apart. The lack of a border of any kind (unless there's a light one I'm not seeing, in which case, I apologize) lets the background down a little.
OVERALL: The Edge one is my favourite, although the lack of a border is noticeable... d ^_^ b

On most, if not all of the sigs, you can see little bits of trash, from where the render isn't blended enough. A one or two pixel feather should take care of it, if not a low blur...
-
I agree with Baron. The render works well with the simplistic background. The text is a little too scratchy for my personal tastes, and I'd prefer to see the rest of the render, as opposed to cutting it off.
All in all, a very good sig. 7.5/10

People who have played Runescape in the past year or two might remember a fad called Buddies. If you don't know what the hell I'm on about, don't worry, they're not widely known...

I'm currently working on a more realistic looking template, and I plan to make an entire set based on the webcomic, EGS. If you're interested, the link's in the sig...
