  1. How many fares have you done in one go?

Just done the taxi missions for the first time today, they're pretty easy. I did 21 fares before I ploughed into this stupid water thing in East Los Santos.

I'll have another bash later to get the 50 required. I'm right in saying they don't have to be consecutive, right? Also, is this included in the things you have to do to get 100%?

  2. Do you mean recruiting gang members?

If so, you need to be so far along the game (I don't exactly know how far) and then you recruit gang members by aiming at them (they must be wearing green) and pressing the Up button. To begin with you can have 3 gang members but it can rise up to 8 as your game progresses. They'll follow you and if you get in a car they will too.

You press Up for them to follow you and Down to tell them to stay where they are.

  3. So, are these solely SA characters you can choose from? Because eh, outside of Wu Zi Mu (who is taken, of course) and maybe Maccer there's nobody who really appeals to me, but since I have a mob mentality I'm drawn to this concept.

Once I get my PS2 Max Drive through the post I'll be using a screenshot of my own character in my game.

If you can get a picture of your own guy, feel free to use that, as it would be best.

  4. Many GTA forum members have created their own online gangs, groups and mafias. Well this is ours. It's kinda pointless, but it's only fun.

By replying here with a character picture and a preferred title you can have your own LC sig too and be part of the group.

If you're not sure what title you want to be given, tell me how far you are with the game, and what are you best at/what is your favourite thing to do?

    So far we have:

    Management

    Junky: The Boss (Gang Leader)

    Specialists

    Iwc: The Truth (Paranormal Investigator)

Krazy K: The Shooter (Expert Gunman)

    ChrisSteeleAteMyHamster: The Assassin (Contract Killer)

    Bluesman: The Driver (Hired Chaffeur)

    Kaney: The Law (Vigilante)

    LivingLegend: The Stuntman (Motorcycle Daredevil)

    Dragon27: The Wheels (Getaway Driver)

Ekin Jones: The Dealer (Car Dealer)

Sycodmn: The Guerilla (Gang Warfare Militant)

Tristof Kitler: The Cleaner (Drug Dealer Disposal)

    Goons

    Dan

    Apple Shampoo

    Summers

    A-Dub

    Cthemason

    Death Before Dishonour

    Media 2.0

    Rock On.

  5. I saw that last weekend. The other Bigfoot one was funnier. It was just a paint blob with a speech bubble that said "rawr i'm bigfoot!"

    Great stuff.

There's lots of interesting (although mostly idiotic) posts on IGN. I'm now a regular visitor there as well as the GTAforums.com.

  6. All the other missions were simple...The only ones that took some practice were the side to side around the cones and the reversing and spinning but they only took half a dozen goes each.

All in all pretty fun and not too tricky.... Loved the parallel parking one the best though, it's just like that guy who does it in a mini cooper.

Agreed those were the tricky ones. I got gold in both though :D

That guy you're thinking of is Russ Swift. He's a friend of my dad's... I've met him a few times. :)

  7. To make some quick money on a relatively easy R3 type mission, go to the 24/7 store a block West of City Hall. There's a bmx parked outside. Get on it and you can do courier missions. Each time I did them I got $1,500 for the first of the four missions, and that increased with each one as long as you do them with time to spare. If you complete them all you gain the store as an assett and earn about $2000 a day.

  8. Once the train stops in the station, go to the front of the train and steal it just like you would a car. It isn't just going backwards that derails it. You can just go forwards and build up plenty of speed, eventually you'll derail on a corner.
