  1. Good job so far Cole, I told you some of the things I didn't like about the diary around the time when you first started it, but I feel I'll right a bit more into it.

The Shane-Cole relationship could be elaborated on a bit, as them knowing each other seems a bit coincidental. I know that some don't care, but it would make the diary a bit better if we knew HOW Shane and you knew each other. It's no real big deal though.

Post a show, and you'll be fine in my eyes. If I were you, I'd use a summary-style for writing matches, as WCW's TV shows seldom had matches that deserved play-by-play. However, if the quality of the match is that that you feel the story you're trying to tell requires play-by-play, then by all means. I'd write interviews word-for-word though, as WCW was definitely about promos and such.

  2. I think, I'm going, to cry.

-Super Dragon (2-1-1) vs. Sonjay Dutt (0-4)- Sonjay don't fail me now.

-Chris Sabin (2-2) vs. Paul London (2-1-1)- London has to has to win.

-Frankie Kazarian (2-1-1) vs. Bryan Danielson (4-0)- Danielson better win this match, because Danielson>*

-Spanky (1-3) vs. Michael Shane (1-2-1)- Spanky rules, so I say Spanky.

-Colt Cabana (1-3) vs. Petey Williams (1-3)- Hm, I predict Petey over Colt with the Canadian Destroyer.

-Alex Shelley (2-2) vs. CM Punk (3-1)-Why do you do this to me!? I hate having to pick between two of my favorite wrestlers. Punk or Shelley, Punk or Shelley. I hate to do it, but I have to pick Shelley.

-Low Ki (3-1) vs. Chris Hero (2-2)- Low-Ki, because Grandma's gonna get punked out.

-Christopher Daniels (2-2) vs. The Messiah (2-2)---LOSER LEAVES THE TOURNAMENT- Daniels had better win this match and stay in man, or I'll be very very pissed off.

    MOTN: Spanky vs. Shane

  3. Alright, I'll give you some helpful comments;

Since it's apparent your hellbent on turning ROH into a sports entertainment fed, I think you should bring in some of the hardcore guys that ROH never would. The CZW guys like Nick Gage, Nate Hatred, Messiah, Justice Pain, guys you'd never see in ROH. Also, you might wanna go after guys with no talent like Goldberg, or A-Train. Sign some really over guys as well, since apparently money is no object to you. Steve Austin would probably be the best choice, if he's still around.

I'd rename the Pure title to something like an IC title, maybe International or World-wide or something like that.

You'd also have to take the belts off the Havana Pitbulls and Joe, because people with talent holding belts in sports entertainment feds for long periods of time just doesn't work.

Also, try and get a TV deal as soon as possible. Building the overness of your main roster is essential for a sports entertainment company.

And change the name of ROH, because for one thing, that's also the name of a thing the Dallas Cowboys do to show appreciation for their players and staff, they put them in the Ring of Honor. Also, change it because the thought of ROH as a sports entertainment fed is going to piss alot of people off, including myself.

  4. Safe to say I won't be reading this thing. Vince Russo is;

    A: not into wrestling anymore.

B: ROH would DIE the second it became sports entertainment. Hell, and it would die the milisecond Vince Russo took over.

C: If Punk and Joe hate internet fans, why would they bother writing live journals, knowing the majority of people reading them would be those same internet fans?

D: ROH is nowhere near big enough to do PPVs. They'd probably be bankrupt before the second show.

  5. 4-5!? I nearly had a heart attack when I read that.

Jerry Lynn (2-2) vs. John Walters (2-2)- As much as I love Walters and dislike Lynn, I think Lynn wins this one.

-Xavier (0-4) vs. Matt Stryker (0-4)- Oh, a battle of the winless, I say Xavier goes over, and Stryker shaves his unibrow.

-Trent Acid (2-2) vs. Homicide (4-0)- I honestly am not more than 51% about either of these guys winning. But the 51% goes to Acid in an upset.

-AJ Styles (4-0) vs. B-Boy (2-2)- Battle of the great offensive dudes who couldn't sell a Thanksgiving turkey to an ethiopian. I say Styles goes over.

-Amazing Red (1-3) vs. Jack Evans (subbing for Teddy Hart) (0-4)- I love both these guys, but Jack "Flippenstein" Evans I think outflies Red in this one.

-Dan Maff (2-2) vs. Austin Aries (3-1)- Austin wins because he's just better than Maff.

-Samoa Joe (3-1) vs. BJ Whitmer (3-1)- All I have to say is: "Joe's gonna kill you, Joe's gonna kill you." Yeah, Joe wins.

-Jay Briscoe (2-2) vs. Mark Briscoe (2-2)- I hate you for making me pick between my favorite tag team. I really do. Oh wait, you're sending me a free wrestling tape, so it's all good. I pick Mark evening up their overall series at 2 a piece.

  6. -Sonjay Dutt (0-3) vs. Michael Shane (0-2-1)- I love Sonjay, but I think Shane wins this one.

-Spanky (1-2) vs. Super Dragon (1-1-1)- Spanky is great and all, but Super Dragon is going to KILL him.

-Frankie Kazarian (2-0-1) vs. Chris Sabin (1-2)- Hail SABIN!

-Paul London (2-0-1) vs. Bryan Danielson (3-0)- If this match doesn't go over half an hour, you're going to have one very pissed off ROH fan on your hands... I think Danielson evens up his record against Paul.

-The Messiah (2-1) vs. Petey Williams (0-3)- Poor poor "One Move Wonder" Petey Williams, he's gonna lose again.

-Alex Shelley (1-2) vs. Colt Cabana (1-2)- I truly hate you for making me pick between these two...I say Colt wins though, ROLLUP OF DOOM AHOY!

-Chris Hero (1-2) vs. Christopher Daniels (2-1)- Oh Daniels just HAS to win this match. Grandma is gonna die!

-CM Punk (3-0) vs. Low Ki (2-1)- I like Punk a tiny bit more, so I say him.

    MOTN: Spanky-Dragon

Great diary man (and I'm not just saying that because I won a tape :shifty:)

  7. AJ Styles (3-0) vs. John Walters (2-1)- Although I think it'd be nice for Walters to win, I think Styles wins this.

B-boy (1-2) vs. Matt Stryker (0-3)-B-Boy should win, because, as I think I've said before, Stryker is bland with a side of boring.

Trent Acid (1-2) vs. Xavier (0-3)- Xavier is actually a better wrestler than Acid, so I think I'll pick him to finally get a win.

Jerry Lynn (2-1) vs. Homicide (3-0)- Lynn is an okay wrestler, and Homicide, when he wants to be, is great. I say Homicide wins.

Mark Briscoe (2-1) vs. Amazing Red (0-3)- Oh man, I think Red's gonna win this one.

Jay Briscoe (2-1) vs. BJ Whitmer (2-1)- Hillbilly Jesus is My Homeboy, but I gotta go with Jay in this match.

Jack Evans (subbing for Teddy Hart) (0-3) vs. ??? (replacing Donovan Morgan) (2-1)- Whoever subs in for Morgan is gonna seriously put a hurtin' on poor Flippy McGuillicuttty.

Samoa Joe (2-1) vs. Dan Maff (2-1)- I really can't call this one, but, since Joe is my fello Samoan, I have to go with him.

    MOTN: Acid-Xavier.

  8. Paul London (1-0-1) vs. Sonjay Dutt (0-2)- London

Michael Shane (0-2) vs. Frankie Kazarian (2-0)- Kazarian

Super Dragon (0-1-1) vs. Chris Sabin (1-1)- Dragon

Spanky (1-1) vs. Bryan Danielson (2-0)- Danielson

CM Punk (2-0) vs. The Messiah (2-0)- Punk

Low Ki (1-1) vs. Petey Williams (0-2)- Ki

Christopher Daniels (1-1) vs. Colt Cabana (1-1)- Daniels

Chris Hero (1-1) vs. Alex Shelley (replacing Doug Williams) (0-2)- Hero

    MOTN: Shelley vs. Hero

  9. -Jerry Lynn (1-1) vs. Matt Stryker (0-2)- Lynn, because Stryker is bland with a side of boring.

-John Walters (1-1) vs. Xavier (0-2)- Walters

-AJ Styles (2-0) vs. Trent Acid (1-1)- Styles, because he is leaps and bounds better than Acid.

-B-Boy (1-1) vs. Homicide (2-0)- I don't know why, but I just think B-Boy is going to win this match.

-Donovan Morgan (2-0) vs. Jay Briscoe (1-1)- Jay better win this match.

-Dan Maff (2-0) vs. Mark Briscoe (1-1)- Maff

-BJ Whitmer (1-1) vs. Amazing Red (0-2)- Whitmer

-Samoa Joe (1-1) vs. Teddy Hart (0-2)- If Joe loses to the asshole, I'm gonna kill someone.

    MOTN: Lynn vs. Stryker

  10. -Bryan Danielson (1-0) vs. Sonjay Dutt (0-1)- I'm gonna say Danielson, because he just rules like that.

-Frankie Kazarian (1-0) vs. Super Dragon (0-0-1)- Super Dragon, just because I like him a tad bit more.

-Paul London (0-0-1) vs. Michael Shane (0-1)- London

-Spanky (0-1) vs. Chris Sabin (1-0)- Spanky should win, thus I pick him.

-Doug Williams (0-1) vs. The Messiah (1-0)- Williams is really good, and Messiah is only OK, so I say Doug.

-Chris Hero (0-1) vs. Scoot Andrews (0-1)- Hero, because he's slightly better than the BNB.

-Low Ki (0-1) vs. Colt Cabana (1-0)- Damn, this is a toughy. The uber-serious bad ass against the comedic ticking time bomb that is Colt Cabana. I'm gonna say Colt in an upset.

-CM Punk (1-0) vs. Christopher Daniels (1-0)- I hate you and love you for putting on this match. I feel dirty picking against either man, but I feel I just have to say Punk. I don't know why.

  11. I just went back and reread all the posts and shows, and really only have one problem:

A: Your grammar is spotty, and you seem to go between "real time" writing (Homicide hits Messiah with a chair) to recapping (then Homicide hit Messiah with a chair). Do you see what I mean?

    CZW Fan Poll

What do you like about CZW?

In your diary, I like the inclusion of new and old, having a Hero-B-Boy match and a rematch of the SAT (the original six man team)/ Devine Storm and XL classic on the same show just rules.

What do you dislike about CZW?

Deathmatches, both in your diary and in real life.  While I liked that the Bailey-Wifey DM had a story to it, I just can't stand deathmatches.  Hardcore matches with a story I dig, just not deathmatches.  DMs should be saved for RIDICULOUSLY hot feuds, like the Steve Corino-Homicide one in ROH (which ended in a great no-roped barbed-wire deathmatch).  Other than that, DMs are pointless bloodbaths, not wrestling matches.

What would you like to see more of?

Six man tags, and I'd really LOVE to see a six man tag team title.  Wouldn't even have to be an official belt in EWR (which I don't think can be done), it could just be something that stables fight over.  I don't think you should do that until you have more stables or regular six man teams though.  If you do plan on creating more stables (because stables rule), then a six man belt would really help to build stable-stable feuds and stuff (like in Toryumon/Dragon's Gate).

What would you like to see less of?

Roderick Strong losing.  Rod should be breaking everyone's backs, not jobbing.  He no sold the CHOKE BREAKER for christ's sake!

Who do you want to see more of?

PWG guys, like Excalibur, Disco Machine, Aerial Express, and X-Foundation.  Just, whatever you do, don't do another invasion angle with them, like CZW is known to do.

Who do you want to see less of?

The Messiah, he's a spotty wrestler at best.  He's only good for taking a hell of a beating and hitting one of his signature moves.

Who would you want to see make a debut?

Chance Beckett, a really good, yet incredibly underrated talent out of ECWA.  He was spectacular in last year's Super 8 tourney.
