  1. From what I understand, Japan host the competition each year and invite two other nations. Scotland were invited and won the cup not too many years ago if I remember rightly.

    Correct.

It was a glorious few days of a tournament. We even put 5 goals past Bulgaria. (Y)

  2. It's on ESPN.

I watched the 09 tournament (only because Andy Driver was in the England squad, and promptly got about 60 minutes throughout the entire tournament <_<) but it was a good time waster plus it's the only football I can see on TV.

Hope Iceland win it since I believe Eggert Jonsson is in the team.

  3. Good to hear about Mackail-Smith moving up, if he gets regular playing time and gets some goals he'd be a great option for the Scotland team instead of Kenny Miller. Because I'm honestly fed up of him,

In fantastic Hearts transfer news, apparently the Zander Diamond deal is all but dead because his ankle is wrecked. Which is excellent news because he's fucking terrible. :D

  4. I will hear no bad words about Steve Fulton

I'm not really fussed either way about Taouil. If we get him great but if we don't it's no huge loss as there's always Skacel to entertain and score a few goals, then do absolutely nothing else in the game.

Jamie Mole also got released today which is awesome news because he's terrible, sadly the Zander Diamond deal appears to be almost complete and could be done tomorrow (N)

  5. Hamill is a decent player. He's worryingly prone to have the odd disaster game but most of the time he's reliable enough, and very versatile. I think we'll miss him, but he's not of great importance, and should be replaced fairly easily. .JJ loves his old players, so I'm not too surprised.

Good to hear. Need someone who can play right back (I'm sure he can play there anyway unless I'm mixed up on players) or centre mid which are both the weakest parts of the team.

Apparently we're close to signing Taouil as well, I feel a bit guilty that we're just stealing half your team these days :P

  6. the SFA don't try massive fines on Hearts or anything overboard.

 We'll get absolutely hammered. The SFA love to fine Hearts for everything, mainly bad discipline which isn't helped by the incompetence of the referees sending players off for absolutely no reason which seems to happen at least a few times to Hearts, usually to Marius Zaliukas.

Sadly, this morning it's come out that a suspicious package was sent to Celtic Park today so sadly this shit is continuing. <_<

  7. I still have no idea why you were told to go around the other way post game.

I mean, we let the Old Firm and Hibs fans out at the same time (probably even tonight knowing how useless the police are) but the big evil Sunderland fans who were having banter with the Hearts fans weren't. Sure I heard from someone that it was because you were English and there might be some England/Scotland thing going on

God the stewarding and policing at Tynie is fucking useless.

  8. How disgraceful and embarassing is scottish football? Seriously, its beyond ridiculous at this stage that someone should even attempt to attack a manager.

It was pretty obvious something like this was going to happen tonight, it's usually at Tynecastle that some idiot tries to run on the pitch, like the Riordan incident a few years ago.

Was up in Edinburgh earlier at the cinema which is pretty much in Gorgie. Even though there was no trouble there was this feeling that something sour was going to go down, lots of Hearts "fans" walking around who clearly weren't going to support the team. Glad I didn't bother going really. Game was awful too.

Thankfully, no one that I've read from or who was at the game I know has defended the clown.
