  1. Question on the events preceding the show and the last episode.

I was reading up on Robert's Rebellion and saw that it was Jon Arryan, Robert Baratheon and Ned Stark that were the three who fought against Aerys. While the assumption is that Jon Snow is a Targaryen, wouldn't this throw a whole wrench in things since Snow's "father" fought to dethrone her father? Maybe it's just me but I feel that might cause a rift between the Jon and Dany - and if Snow just ends up going over to Dany's side (because she's the one with the power here) where does that leave Bran, Arya, and Sansa?

Yeah, you're insane if you think Dany is marrying the guy who murdered her dad.

At the same time, Targaryen vs. Lannister - do you really expect Tyrion to stand opposite of Jamie after all those two have been through? The question is going to be who weds Dany, but I don't see a suitable person. Jon Snow to bring incest back full circle?

What would be Tyrion's reasons for joining Dany if he knew they were going to go to war with the Lannisters and if all is true, want to kill Jamie? He would have to know he's sacrificing the one person in his family that actually was there for him to a degree.

  3. Spoiler

After reading the theory of A+J=T, it does make sense and I agree with everyone that it would be kinda lame, but at the same time this was GRRM plan from the beginning. The fact that it looks like Jon, Dany, and Tyrion are the three dragon riders seems kinda shitty but at the same time, I suppose there is a reason they were so heavily featured. I don't think random Joe being the third dragon rider would be good, but I can't think of who a suitable third option would really be at this point. It's kind of weird, because while I haven't read the books, Game of Thrones has been hands down the best television I've watched for the past six years so to see it coming to an end is really unfortunate. With that being said, it feels weird to get some sort of closure on certain things within the show. Seeing Arya kill Frey, Jon Snow as the King of the North, Cersei taking down the High Sparrow and everyone around it, it just seems so... odd. You usually don't get those things within the show and are always waiting for what the next obstacle is.

Now were at the main event. The battle for Kings Landing and the war with the dead. But it almost feels so backwards just because of all the turns we've been given and amount of success the "bad guys" have had. The fairytale ending is the North beating the White Walkers and Dany taking over Kings Landing, but now that we're almost there, it just seems so wrong in the GoT lore.

As for the finale, man was it a good one. This entire season was chalked full of great episodes from the Hodor one, to Battle of the Bastards, to Sundays. The score was absolutely spot on and those first twenty minutes may have been the best cinematic viewing that I have ever witnessed. Everything was absolutely spot on and the acting as always was top notch. Shame to see Tommen go down just like Joffrey, but at the end of the day it was going to happen eventually. I shouldn't be surprised with Dany coming over for battle right now - it would be weird for a good natured character and a sympathetic character to clash. Does this mean Tyrion is going to have to fight Jamie and even Bronn? That's what we need next season. More Bronn.

Man, I'm so happy for Peyton.  Yes he didn't have a very good game and the defense carried them to this Super Bowl, but I'm so glad he got another ring before he left.  If the Colts or Broncos were playing when the Giants weren't on, I'd always pay extra attention to those games just because of Peyton.  Watching him elaborately orchestrate an offense and basically be his own offensive coordinator was fascinating.  It was an honor to watch him all those years.

QFE. Grew up watching the guy sling the pigskin around and gained an appreciation for how he handled himself on and off the football field. Truly a one of a kind athlete and I second the motion of it being an honor watching him for all those years.

He was holding it with arm. The playcall was not "play it safe" because he was holding it with one arm. It's such a telltale sign they were trying to push for the first down marker or the endzone.

Well in any event, I'm on the fence with Lewis. He's got the fail-safe because Dalton wasn't playing but his playoff record more than shows they can't win in crunch time. It depends if Cincinnati is okay with being consistently good and losing primetime games all while hoping they can pull through one of those times or if they want to go out and find themselves a new coach. The Reds suck so the only thing the city has to look forward to is football and their team keeps choking games away when they need them.

Pacman and Burfict though, that's what I really call into question. Giving up thirty yards on personal foul penalties but I've always been of the mindset that those calls go on the players shoulders and not the coach. There's no way Marv didn't tell his guys that this shit couldn't happen and for Burfict to do that followed by more Pacman tomfoolery, that just comes with the territory of having those types of players. Maybe Lewis doesn't have the respect from his players who knows, but that was their game to win and more than anything those three players cost them that win.

But enough of that, how about the grapefruits on Big Ben to step back into the game and lead those guys down the field like that. Interesting to hear his diagnosis and if Antonio Brown will be a go against Denver next week.

  6. A risky run play? It looked like a simple iso up the middle to a guy who had three fumbles all year. Not saying he never drops the rock, but in at least field goal range and a first down away from potentially locking the game up - what else was he supposed to do? Ain't gonna pass it there. Geo was knocked out of the game. Take a trio of knees? That'd still give the Steelers well over a minute to play with. Sure they'd be up by four but with Antonio Brown and Martavis Bryant as big play threats, why not just play the odds and hand the ball off.

Outrageous game. Just run 3 short runs, have Pitt burn all their timeouts, and go up by 4. If you're lucky you get a 1st down. Instead Hill tried to make magic happen. And of course emotions were gonna boil over when you have Prime Minister of Shitlord Mountain Joey Porter coaching for the other team.

Addressing helmet-to-helmet, not leaving gray area is pretty heinous. You can't just go "guy's a runner after 2 steps" even if he's secured possession. For all the care and attention to head issues they sure don't mind letting guys fly in like battering rams so long as the person's a runner.

Oh and Marv Lewis should be gone for letting his team behave that way in any case, that and an inexcusable 0-7 playoff record.

I completely disagree. End of the game, you have to have your best players out there - especially in the playoffs. I'm more than sure he addressed his worries with Burfict prior to that last drive, if not before and during the whole game. While his record is pretty shit in the playoffs, they should've won with a backup QB in. Hill fumbling, Burficts hit and Pacmans actions were the three reasons they lost that game and none of those can be blamed on the coach.

lol, Bengals. I can't believe how their D contrived to throw that away after they took the lead.

Burfict is an absolute nutjob. With regards the final penalty on Jones, did anyone catch what he actually did?

Pacman grabbed Joey Porter who's now a coach for the Steelers by the jacket.

Either way, incredible ending there. From Burficts pick, to Hills fumble. Big Bens return, I mean better storylines than the WWE! Even if Pacman let that go and just Burfict got the flag, Cincy still had a shot to keep the game in their favor. I feel bad for Cincinnati, but man, you kinda deserve losing for doing that shit.

  9. I adored the GTA series for it's open world. 3 was good but felt really small whereas Vice City felt the same size but had a nice mixture of side missions and what have you. But San Andreas will always be my favorite one just due to it's sheer size and ability to see all the different environments.

Oblivion and Skyrim from TES franchise were amazing too just because of how immersive it was. Granted in an RPG like that, you can also level up a plethora or skills and spend hours on end not only doing that but hunting for that one incredible piece of loot. I would rank Oblivion over Skyrim just because of the overall feel of the game, from it's character screens to it's story. Not to say Skyrim wasn't unbelievable, but Oblivion always holds a special place in my heart.

Personally, I prefer open worlds just because as has been said, you can really get your money's worth out of it and enjoy a lot of different aspects. Whether it's seeing cool sights, finding that hidden treasure, fighting off enemies, or leveling yourself up, I always felt entrenched in this huge fictional world with more stories than just the main quest.

  10. Played some of the BETA on the XB1 and I second the graphics being amazing. Loved playing around with the sniper, but it's so frustrating when you don't have the jump pack unlocked and there is just people flying all over the damn place and you're running through valleys and crevices. With that being said, Walker Assault is unbelievably one sided. Seeing Darth Vader just deflecting bullets was pretty badass though.

  11. Career mode does look really good, and I haven't played 2K but the match star ratings in the upper left hand corner is exactly what I was hoping they would add. I can only imagine how good the career mode will get over the course of the next few years as 2K always (as evident with NBA) seems to up the bar higher and higher.

  12. If we're being technical, I don't think Wrestler A and Wrestler B would necessarily gain "tag team" experience as it's pertained in the game for just main eventing a RAW and SmackDown in real life anyways. Tag Team experience would be your Blake and Murphy's, Vaudevillians, teams that are actually focused on being a tag team as opposed to performing their own stuff in a feud mixed tag team match. You aren't gonna see Randy Orton and Ryback performing double team moves or anything as the such just because they've randomly teamed a few times in the past.

  13. My god this thread was a lot of fun to read. Kudos to the lot of you putting in the time and effort to throw out a decent mod and even if I have TEW 15 I will most certainly use this as it's much easier and less of a chore.

The only problem I can see arise is what Kirkland was saying about NXT being a developmental promotion, but even at this point I think that's moot considering they do travel and still put on large shows. They may be classified as developmental but are technically their own promotion. I'd say use them as a brand maybe? But then again, you can't run multiple "big shows" in a month so Barclays show + SummerSlam would be impossible unless their is some way around that.

  14. I'd dare say Matt Serra over Georges St-Pierre at least deserves a worthy shout. Even after retiring, GSP only has two losses in his MMA career - to Matt Hughes and Matt Serra. At the time of the fight, Serra was 9-4 with no notable wins and only received a title shot because he won TUF 4: Comeback season.

  15. Well at least they told everyone before they bought the game/got their hopes up.

And I will say that it's good news that they announced it for everyone. That shows they know that people care and clearly wanted/had plans to include them into the game. It is very very strange that they won't be in there. I'm wondering if some of the reason is that none of those four ladies are on Total Divas, but it still wouldn't make sense. The WWE has been pushing them and their storylines like crazy recently - so I can't think of why they wouldn't want them in the game unless like Quom said it was because the animations weren't up to par with what they considered for them which is kind of shitty but almost at the same time respectable for the WWE to want them to be viewed as positively as possible. I'm sure we won't know the reason why but this is one of the weirdest cut outs of a video game, let alone WWE that I can think of.

  16. Not trying to be that guy, but how many people actually play as the Diva's and how much can you realistically do with them? It's not like you're going to be able to have a vast variation of matches with them compared to "Stunning" Steve Austin vs. "ABA" Undertaker or Mikey Whipwreck vs. Enzo Amore, let alone have them going for almost any of the titles outside of the Diva's and maybe NXT Women's if it's included.

  17. And to think they will only get better over time. 2K is always good about improving their games year after year. Not to say an Austin showcase won't be awesome but man, if they put all that effort into a story mode (SD2 was the best in my opinion), it's going to be insane in the future.

Only little gripe because I have to nitpick. I wish they would've had the old guardrails for the old arenas (RAW IS WAR) where it wasn't just a solid barricade. Just like everyone else too, generic commentary is the worst. JBL: "Here comes his finisher" as Brock executes three German suplexes. Ugh.

  18. New game mechanics are nice. I'm dying for them to throw in a CBS graphic or something similar to NHL and the NBC logo.

I've played four games online (Xbox One) and there's only been lag issues one game which is much better than I was dealing with last year. Running feels much better too. More fluid.

  19. I have no real issue with the sports labelling. I don't think it's supposed to be used in the same context as athletic sports but it gets the point across and doesn't hurt anyone.

I did find it hilarious how desperate Krone is to defend it. Look you guys, one of them has a girlfriend! And that one has muscles! Muscles! They're almost like normal people!

Actually, I think it was Plubby who introduced you to muscles. And of course I'm going to show that they're normal people when Lint gives of the stigma that its all about pounding energy drinks.

To each their own though. If anything, all I've tried to do is tell you my story and such. I wouldn't necessarily call that 'trying hard' seeing as how, ya know, it's my life story
