Just noticed the Raiders have a black punter. I can't think of one other black kicker in the NFL, or as far back as my memory goes of watching pro football.

Great awareness by Carr. That could have and probably should have been Jets ball.
-
Sproles! Excited to see him involved with the offense this year and he's already proving his worth. Great run.

What does everyone play on? I'm on the X1. If anyone wants to play sometime, hit me up. Google Krone

I picked this up yesterday and haven't been able to stop playing it. I got the XBox One bundle with the game for $430 so I made out fairly well.
As for the game, I haven't bought one in years but this one feels great. The defensive gameplay actually feels more than just running around and offense is just that. I've played six games online (all with the Eagles) and ended up going 5-1 with my only loss being cause by my girlfriend kicking over the router and knocking out the Ethernet cable -.-
One thing that did kinda get me was the loss of the coin toss. For some reason I always enjoyed that and had my little superstitions as to what helped you win it.

Went and pre-ordered an XBox One bundle that includes the Madden 15 game for $400. I've been wanting to get one for a while so why not get a new game with it? Back in the day I was a fiend for Madden and would get it every year, but then after I think Madden 08 (with Vince Young on the cover) for the 360, I was pretty disappointed and stopped buying them.
This year I'm really excited. The game looks really well and the emphasis on defense get's me giddy. Even gauntlet mode looks pretty sick. Can't wait to start some online leagues - just as fun as fantasy football if I do say so myself.

I love Cesaro

This took place about two hours from where I (and iDOL) live and obviously the amount of attention it's getting is huge. I would never expect anything like this to happen at a dirt track, especially one so close.
And I can see where Ward was coming from. These guys don't have millions to pour into their cars, so any money that goes into it is probably his. When some big name like Tony Stewart comes in and crashes you, he probably took offense to it because of his status and name (in other words, wanting to hang with the big guns) so he got out and that's what happened. Sad sad situation and I hate it when ANY death takes place in a sport, but NASCAR has to be the most dangerous sport just because of the equipment they are using and at what speeds.

Yes EddieG. Especially when I'm on my phone doing it. If it was my laptop, I could understand but my phone is shit. Sooooo sorry for asking a quick question. Don't be a touch hole.

I'd assume. I don't usually venture in here on a daily basis so forgive my lack of knowledge on the aforementioned subject.

Is anyone on here interested in doing a fantasy league? I'm not sure how many people would be interested or hell if there's even one going now (probably is with my luck).

That is a damn shame. Especially because it stemmed from exhibition basketball. If it was during the season, then okay, but in a meaningless game is harsh. If only the Pacers still had Stephenson - this could've been his year to blow up on a major market team.
-
Wow and damn. Johnson is well on his way to a title shot.

Guida reminded me of the Mountain there at the end of the first round. Loved it.

Personally, I hope Bosh can redeem himself in Miami and truly be the presence he was back in Toronto. I just can't see them making any moves this season at least that will make them any sort of contenders. Young teams like Washington, Indiana, Charlotte all seem like more optimal places to play if you're looking to win a championship which is really what this whole discussion is about. As a person, do you care more about winning or just getting paid.
Does the new contract for Bosh give him more $ than the one he opted out of did? Because if so I guess he really can't beat that.
-
I just don't see why he'd talk to Houston then. If he was never going to leave, why create the hoopla of leading other teams on? Especially if he loved the city that much. I mean all reports said he was only gonna stay if Lebron did and he visited other teams because of Lebron's undecided nature at the time.
EDIT- But I do agree about the east being way easier than the west. Maybe Bosh thinks he can pick up Lebrons peices.
Also rumors of D-Wade visiting Washington... Good for them?
-
Did Houston match Dallas' offer on Parsons or is he off the table too? Because if so, they really shot themselves in the foot with the whole hold out by Bosh. Which makes me question why he would pick Miami over a team that he would've helped a hell of a lot more.
-
So. How far off does Miami fall now. I'm assuming D-Wade is there for life, but I doubt he could lure any notable names.
But I bet Lance Stephenson goes there and tries to pick up Lebrons pieces and we all know they can afford him now. Seems like a Lance type move.

Fucking that's fucking crazy how fucking many fucking players they fucking have. Fucking!I love this. It actually makes the NBA (east at least) feel open again...
However, look at the Cavs fucking roster now. LeBron, Waiters, Kyrie, Wiggins, Bennett, Varejao, Thompson. I'd assume that they already had the record, but look at how many former #1 picks (all drafted by Cleveland none the less) they fucking have. Crazy.
Pizza, I'd expect nothing less than for you to come in here and try to rip apart my post and add no points on the topic...
You fuck.

For a split second I thought Machida was gonna pull it off there.

Rousey has no competition at all. I don't know if that's a testament to a week division or just how good she actually is.

The longer Minny waits the less their getting for him. The few days before this draft were the peak times in his value, everything after will be less.
The only reason I could see the Wolves waiting is if they truly believed that they are a title contender and hoping this could be the year for them/squeeze something out and give Love hope that they could be turning the corner. Again though, it's the Wolves and I guess they're more worried about the present than the future. Which is more than whoever the hell it was last night that took the guy thats "two years away from being two years away" from playing in the NBA.

For some odd reason my favorite pick of the draft was McDermott to Chicago in the trade. I know the guy isn't going to be a Steph Curry (because let's be honest, Creighton/Big East is practically a mid-major after 'Cuse and company left sans the years that Creighton actually was while McBuckets was there) but he will be a great player for the Bulls. I see him being more of a Tayshaun Prince. Someone who can ball and can shoot, but won't be a superstar by any means.
Aside from that, Embid will be good if healthy for the Sixers and god knows with Andrew Bynum fresh in everyone's mind he almost needs to be. Jabari will be a good player for the Bucks, but I can't see him turning them around into a contender whereas Wiggins has the pieces around him in Cleveland with Kyrie, Waiters, and god willing is also one of the few places LeBron could end up if the opt-out was actually for him looking at other places to play.
2014 NFL Season

Man, I think that's ridiculous. If you have high expectations and you go into a game against arguably the worst team in the NFL, get your ass handed to your for thirty minutes, I think you have a right to boo. This isn't like the Browns, or the Vikings - this is a team that's projected by some to make it to the Super Bowl. When your expectations are that high and you are down 17-0 with FOUR turnovers, one of which I caught was in the red zone, you have ever right to boo...
And you know what they did, came out and turned it around. You can't accept mediocrity and expect to be great.
