Ah, got it. Also, should we scrap Cain Velezaquez from the thing? Because I am sure he was only used once for a supershow thing.

I believe he's signed a contract with the comany and went for knee surgery shortly after his match vs. Lesnar.

He's expected to be back from what I've read off various dirt sheets.

    AAA and ROH Spoilers:

      Hide contents

Before anyone asks, I am leaving Sin Cara as Incognito, I don't see WWE letting him use the Sin Cara name even in Mexico, especially on a major promotion.

I'm not sure what I'm calling the Inglobernales stables in AAA and ROH. I believe that CMLL owns the name in Mexico at the least and I don't know what they were doing with it whether Terrible would add his own (as what happened when Sombra and then Mascara left CMLL when it was Fish's group.)

    An Update on this:

    Spoiler

Multiple online reports are saying the name of this stable is La Faccion Ingobernable

Fixed it. I was right with the issue regarding announcer.
I loaded up a game as AAW and opened up the events page. I unchecked the "Use Wrestler" option then closed the save. I copied the promo.dat file from the save to the DATA folder and now I have full access to the promotion.

I've had this happen to me quite a few times as well.

The issue seems to be removing an announcer or a wrestler that is listed as a commentator from the promotion without first taking them out of the position in the promotions page. It causes the game to look for an assigned staff member who is no longer there and continuously crashes the save.

Another way to fix that is to add that staff member or wrestler back to the promotion. They will automatically be put back in that commentary spot they were assigned in previously. You can then remove them from the position and take them off the roster again with no further issues.

  4. I know earlier I put my bid in for Brock Lesnar to have the unique gimmick, but I think I'm going to chance my stance.

You can argue a few cases as to why Brock deserves the unique gimmick, and at some point in time I could see a point where he finally achieves it, but for now I'd leave him as Legitimate Athlete or even Machine. Lesnar broke The Streak, that is something that literally will never happen again. He's the 1 in 21-1 as Paul Heyman (who definitely deserves the unique gimmick) has said before, and at one point was the youngest WWE Champion of all time. Lesnar was built up to be a major face in the WWE before he left, and has he stuck around, we probably wouldn't be having this argument.

I do however disagree with anyone who says John Cena (and to some extent CM Punk) don't deserve the unique gimmick. I know the game explains the gimmick as 100% segment worthy, but do any of us really treat it that way?

I say we through out that 100% requirement that the game has for the gimmick. If you are such a major name in wrestling that even non-wrestling fans know who you are, you're a pretty big deal. I wouldn't make the case for all Legends and Hall of Famers to be unique, but certainly the top names of each Era deserve the credit.

I would say Hulk Hogan, Ric Flair, Stone Cold, The Rock, HBK, Bret Hart, Mick Foley, CM Punk, John Cena, Undertaker, Sting, Chris Jericho, Edge, and Triple H are all more then deserving of the unique gimmick in my personal opinion.

Hopefully this could help put an end to the unique debate. Personally, I don't care what you guys end up doing as I update my data myself by coming on here and making the changes you guys list, but I just wanted to provide some feedback.

  5. If we're debating the unique gimmick, then I'm throwing in my vote for Daniel Bryan. In the original EWR data Bryan Danielson has the unique gimmick, so why was it changed now?

Also, I'm usually one to just agree with the majority here on this site, but I'd also like to see Brock Lesnar get the unique gimmick. I know in the game it is all based around charisma, but lets face it, Brock Lesnar is unique. He's a Man Beast/Machine/Legitimate Athlete/Dual-Sport Superstar, and he broke The Undertaker's streak. There will never be another Brock Lesnar, just like there will never be another Ric Flair, Hulk Hogan, HBK, Triple H, CM PUnk, Rock, Stone Cold, or Mick Foley. All of which should be unique in my opinion.

  6. I wouldn't move him to

Warrior signed a Legends contract and will be an Ambassador just like Austin, Hogan, HBK and others. If we go by the he'll not wrestle anymore then we should remove Austin or any other guy that is not going to have one too.

Did he actually sign? I hadn't read a confirmation yet. I figured they'd wait to see how he did at the induction, because that could have gone horribly wrong. But if he is only going to be behind the scenes then we should bump him to staff like Slaughter, Luger, etc. We'll just have to see how that plays out.

I wouldn't make him a staff member. He'll most likely make occasional WWE related appearances like Hart and Foley do.

Only real question is does he get a written contract? (Like Austin, HBK, Hart, Flair etc)

Or an open contract? (Piper, Snuka, DiBiase etc)

  7. Remove Norv Fernum and Dewey Barnes from TNA? They haven't been seen since the new year right? They also aren't listed on the official roster. Also Tito Ortiz is no longer on their roster.

Change Joseph Park to Abyss and make him a heel.

I know someone mentioned making Bully Ray a face, but I think he should be a tweener for now.

edit: Extreme Tiger is known as Tigre Uno in TNA

Barnes actually works with TNA, as he's part of their merchandise department. I'd just change his gimmick to staff member
