  1. Series 10 should have 2-5 recurring companions, who really know nothing of each other. Maybe make them all non-human. Open up the realm of possibility that the Doctor goes on quite a few more adventures than we've ever been privy to.

  2. Last night's episode was really great. The show taking a week off is annoying, but the run will now lead us directly to the premiere week of The Walking Dead, which is cool.

I'm assuming the cop car filled with water jugs is going to come in to play, since the number of the patrol car was so prominently featured. It makes me hope that FTWD will tackle more realistic survival dangers, like dehydration. They say that would be the number one cause of death, rather quickly, if the United States infrastructure fell.

  3. Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling announced the first group of talent for their roster today. The announcement can be found at the following link: http://globalforcewrestling.com/reveal/

Former WWE and TNA talent is on the list, and some will debut at the first taping on July 24th in Las Vegas. Now that GFW is taking shape, those of us who play EWR and TEW can look forward to it being included in monthly data updates.

  4. I'm resurrecting this thread to give my thoughts on the film after seeing it. No real spoilers, but just in case.

Man of Steel proved that Superman does not fit in to the cookie cutter mold that a superhero movie has become. The end battle looked exactly like the end battle of The Avengers. Giant alien metallic snake like things attacked him. Too much was going on at once. You know the part in Superman: The Movie when Superman finally reveals himself to humans for the first time by catching Lois Lane? "I've got you!" "You got me? Who's got you?!" There is NOTHING like that in this movie, and I think it hurts because of it. Also, while the threat in this movie was against the entire world, Superman and General Zod were very much only the U.S.A.'s problem. No other countries seemed to care about the oncoming apocalypse. We should have been shown that. Superman is EARTH'S protector, not just Metropolis'. Plus, while yes a Batman cameo would've been amazing, I understand why they left it out. However, SOMETHING should have been done to expand the DC universe. This was DC's chance to start building a credible universe on film that audiences want to see linked together on screen. In this film's universe, Superman is the only one with special abilities. They got this one wrong. See it. It is a GOOD movie given everything negative I said about it. It's a popcorn flick. It's not the Superman, DC Film game-changing movie it needed to be.

  5. I think what GoGo's getting at is that he'd have rather seen Michael Raymond James' character be a permanent one. That said, I was pretty disappointed when he died because I was hoping that he and the fat guy would become somewhat primary antagonists for the group - but I assume they're going to set up the introduction of a rival group or something.

And though I hated how he died, holy shit that was a pretty awesome scene and kind of makes me wonder what Lori would think if she knew that Rick killed those two guys, what with her reaction to Dale's claim that Shane killed Otis.

They brought up a good point on Talking Dead, Rick is a cop. When things began to esculate, he told them to calm down. He didn't draw until his target went for his gun first. Remove the zombie apocalypse, and Rick was just a cop with a clean kill.

I enjoyed last nights episode. I have a feeling the Lori stuff may lead to her getting kidnapped by the other group. Albeit not in a malicious way but in a "we found the car wreck and took care of her." Atleast at first. Maybe the other camp would ransom her off in exchange for the farm or something.

I'm also calling it now that Hershel's daughter is not in shock, but was bitten or scratched on the arm when her mother grabbed her.

  6. There's only four spots left for RTWM storylines:

    One is for CAWs

One is a Diva storline with Mickie James

There will almost definatly be one for Cena, I'd also say HHH and Undertaker would have spots, seeing as they're on the cover and both huge names. That leaves one spot, and I'd guess it's either Rey Mysterio or if they have an ECW storyline it will be Christain.

Has it been confirmed that there are only 6 RTWM slots?

  7. Idk. I wouldn't dispute the financial claim. We've been doing all the filming and editing and shit for The Romero Experiment for virtually nothing. If he owned a few things already (makeup, video equipment) and called in favors from friends (video editing, camera men, sound, etc.) that agreed to work for nothing, like we've been doing, it's possible. Also, as far as paying actors go, you'll never have a hard time finding willing people to A. Be eaten. B. Eat people.

  8. I'm not even going to go in depth on those... just... fucking bollocks is what those were.

New fans of horror should really check out the new remakes... Halloween, Texas Chainsaw and Friday the 13th were all very good. After that, I highly suggest going backwards and watching the originals. Some people though, just can't enjoy the older efforts.

Im sorry, but you call the 28 Series bollocks, yet in the same paragraph praise the butchering of Halloween, Texas Chainsaw Massacre, and Friday the 13th? The old versions knocked the new ones out of the park as far as storytelling and suspense is concerned. The newer relayed only on gore and shock value.
