I love shoot comments that aren't supposed to be shoot comments...
Dukes? Your response?
Yup, these are my readers...

To be honest, I liked Wayne Brady's talk show. When he started, he was definately out of his element, but with his improv ability, he improved greatly over the length of the show. The show won a bunch of awards, and I think he would be a decent choice.
-
Andy isn't in TNA...the WWE just signed 3LK from TNA.

I sat down and read this today, and it is fantastically done. Really looking forward to Breaking Point, and the high probability of the handicap match.
Predictions:
Super Dragon d. Eros
Pennington d. Fives
Chance d. Smith
Black Dragon d. Parker
Stylez d. Reeves
Casey d. London (due to interference from Knight)
Storyline prediction: Knight gets handicap match, only to debut new monster heel to replace Black Dragon in the Round Table
Keep up the great work.

I vote to bring in Waltman, just because it adds a lot to the story, especially with the relationship with Flair.
-
c'mon, where is the Wolverine? I made it to the final 3 for the Jobber title, I want a match!
-
All right, I'm just a bit confused on this concept. It appears as if you'll all be posting simultaneously, but what happens if, say, 1998 Vince uses X-Pac, and a month in, 1995 X-Pac tears up his knee and his stats go down to 10-5-15? Or, 2002 Vince signs Sting in a shocker, but a month later, 1998 Sting retires?
If it works...heck, even if it doesn't work, it'll be great. Just a few holes in the method might cause some problems.

Here's a complete newbie question: how much should I budget. I lost 20 million with my only release - could it be I only had a budget of 10 million or so? It was a horror flick, btw.
Just in general, how much should I select for each?

I'll offer a prediction for Valerie's wrestler, and say her boyfriend, Mr. Ryan Sakota...

Just got through it all, and a very well-written old-school diary. Keep it up, man.

What are your favorite "beautiful" songs? Not sappy love songs, but just really well-written, real melodies, meaningful lyrics, etc.
Fred Jones, Pt. 2 (Ben Folds)
Still Fighting It (Ben Folds)
Trouble (Coldplay)
Stand Here With Me (Creed)
My Immortal (Evanascence)
100 Years (Five for Fighting)
Time of Your Life (Green Day)

Here Without You (Three Doors Down)
Drift Away (Dobie Gray)
Any other favorites?

Wow...now THAT'S how you write a debuting superstar angle. Excellent job so far, and keep up the good work. Any way you can get the belt on Sting, and have him face Nash for the title in, say, Montreal?
-
This is looking very sweet so far. Just a warning...I've seen a few of these mega-backstories draw a lot of attention, then they die before the first show. Just keep up the great work.

For those of us just stepping in now, could you tell us who some of the renamed guys are (Fertig, Terkey, Cameron) and also a small background on how everybody has got here? For instance, I'd like to know how Terkey, "1/2 of the dominant tag team", worked his way up there.

4. What individual will score the pin in the All-Star match? Bischoff
5. Will anyone get at least 8 of 9 matches correct? No.
-
I really enjoy the full match reports, but you really need the interviews more than the match reports. Maybe do a Plankton style report (just list winners and high spots, do interviews in full), then Virch it in more detail.
-
I like this so far. It is very difficult to do a first-person diary, but you have succeeded so far. The biggest thing I would suggest is don't drop any storylines. If you introduce something, have a plan to follow it up: unlike on-screen wrestling, you can't drop "storylines" in real life at will.
-
I like this very much. The fact that everybody is being booked into a regular show makes for a very interesting dynamic. And Billy Kidman getting a big push in a Dukes diary is sort of expected .
-
Wouldn't it be Eddie-Taker, Part 3? Double DQ brawl, Cage Match at Summerslam, and now *gets shot*
(hey, if you can rip on me for Cornette, I can rip on you for this )

9. Who will pin whom? Nowinski pins Hall
10. Pick the winner: Jazz v. Trish Stratus v. Tracy v. Lucille LaChienne: Jazz
11. Who will lose the match? Tracy
12. Will any matches be added at the last minute to compensate for Benoit's injury? yes
13. Which match received the highest *overall* EWR rating? HBK/Kane
14. Which match's result forced me to use Arsenic on a wrestler's morale? Christian/Molly (c'mon, he's losing to a girl)
15. Which match was so well-received that the match following it was a letdown? Orton/Sting
Billy Kidman and Rey Misterio - 5 (Personal favorites, but seeming a bit bland and thrown into matches against high flyers for the title)
Chris Jericho - 9 (100 promos really can let you go crazy)
Christian - 9 (only worry is that he might get too typecasted in his current role)
Cruiserweights - 4 (seem a bit underused given Heyman's influence from BVS)
Dallas Page - 7 (I loved his BANG! entrance in the Molly/CHristian promo, reminded me of Tazz/Heyman/Vince during the Invasion)
Eddie Guerrero - 4 (since his big WM win, has been sort of on autopilot)
Eric Bischoff - 3 (not enough heel commish for my liking)
Evolution (including Orton in-ring) - 5 (not enough Shane)
Jim Cornette - 6 (needs more of a heelish edge, bring back the megaphone)
Jim Ross - 1, BAH GAWD, 1!
Rhyno - 3 (His title win came out of nowhere, and we haven't seen enough in-ring dominance to value his title reign)
Los Maximos - 5 (latest events are increasing entertainment value)
Matt Hardy - 4 (8 for the Hurricane match)
Michael Cole - 4 (you're missing out on the opportunity with the referee bit, hasn't brought it out in a while)
Molly Holly - 7 (seriously screwed up WM, but have a chance to salvage it at the PPV)
Nathan Jones - 8 (more intense promos)
Nick Mondo and Tommy Dreamer - 6 (all right, but a lot of character development that you're missing out on)
Recent call-ups (Jeter, Matthews, Hennigan, Tracy) - N/A (want to see where you go before grading)
Recent long-term signings (Cabana, Tomko, Rizzono) - N/A (see above)
Right to Censor - 2 (they come in with a bang, and then immediately drop to 6-man jobs to Piper?)
RNN host Randy Orton - 8 (probably best portrayed heel you've created)
Roddy Piper - 7 (more of his wit)
Shawn Michaels - 6 (
Sting - 5 (too much of an engima: I'd rather see mysterious promos than no news)
Team JAPAN and Paul Heyman - 7 (begging for heel overtones)
Three Live Kru - 8 (the perfect antidote to RTC)
Triple H - 4 (not good as a face)
Undertaker and Torrie Wilson - 6 (interesting, but is an unusual face/face/face interplay between Taker/Wilson/Kidman. Would seem more natural with Taker as a deadman heel)
Women wrestlers (other than Molly) - 6 (some gimmicks seem really forced, like Victoria and Stacy, but others, like Lucille, really fit)
-
Oh boy, Matt and Hurricane in the same ring? Get security ready to RING THE BELL, RING THE...oops, wrong backstage dislike...
-
I really loved this backstory when it was first posted, and I'm really excited that it's gonna continue.
Good luck with Raw.

How many more people have to die before MLB realizes that their drug policy (or lack of one, or slap-on-a-wrist punishments) is allowing players to sign their own death sentences?
