  1. Trish is also up, and apparently according to the IGN Forums, they are gonna be simming the No Mercy PPV with the 360 Version, course it is for Insiders Only. But never the less.

Also they have pictures that include Dude Love, Cactus Jack, Hogan, Austin, and Umaga up on IGN as well.

Umaga looks rather good from what you can see of him.

  2. Why didn't I spring for Xbox live? Why oh why oh why. I wish I could download this demo. The new controls seem a bit....... odd, like clicking the stick in to pick up your opponent.

For those who've got the demo, fancy giving us a list of the controls and the various new things you can do?

  3. The game looks fantastic. The pyro glaring off of Kane's sweat after pinning HHH is just beautiful. The models look pretty damned good as well.

But I don't like the grapple method. It just seems a really strange way of doing things, but no doubt I'll get used to it. I watched the tutorial vids but I still have no idea how to whip your opponent, or pick them up when they're down. And is it just me or does the ring look really really small?

I've seen the videos and I follow the countdown on IGN but the demo really helps me get more excited for the real game. So far I've been rather meh about it but it'll be fun learning the new controls, the new chain sequence where you choose what move to perform next or for how long to hold it etc looks cool if I figure out how to do it, and online games should be awesome. But that tiny ring needs sorted, pronto ¬_¬

It's probably due to the fact I'm using a shitty portable telly on widescreen mode so I can read stuff in Dead Rising, and the fact that the demo required me to change my settings to PAL-60 mode instead of 50, but whatever >_>

  4. After reading this whole thread, and seeing a whole list of bands that I like that others don't, and then there still being a bunch that I like that havent been listed yet... will see throw them into the list.

36 Crazyfists, Aha, Alphaville, Arch Enemy, Autopilot Off, Blindside, Cake, Deadsy, Dragonland, Dry Cell, Edgewater, Frou Frou, Greenwheel, Imogen Heap, InMe, Jem, Journey :shifty:, Katatonia, Lost Horizon, Luca Turilli, Mew, Nada Surf, Nightwish, Ours, Pitchshifter, Red Jumpsuit Apparatus, Revis, Rooney, Shark Attack, Starsailor, Submersed, Sun Kil Moon, The Shins, The Silver Jews, Therion, Type O Negative, Trustcompany, We are Scientists...

Actually looking at it, the list is way longer then I thought, there is more, but those are the ones I listen to on a constant basis.

All of those (bolded) get massive acclaim and love off either various people from the board, various people I know, or in some cases are just taken as a given for being popular - eg, W.A.S. . So I'm not sure where they come from =/

  6. Adema did a cover of Metallica's The Thing That Should Not Be on their latest cd, it is on the tale end of the track Estrellas off the CD Planets.

Another one is by the band Ours, they did a cover of Queen's Bohemian Rapsody, it was an internet only download if you bought their first cd, but shouldnt be to hard to find.
