As much as i love my Club (Stoke City), i'd prefer England to win, it's great when the World Cup is on and the whole country celebrates England winning, football fan or not. While only us Stoke fans will be celebrating the victory of Stoke winning the Champs League (HA, like that'll ever happen).

The Matrix - 9.5/10
----
I got some more to come as re-watching a ton of movies at the moment.
-
Independence Day - 8/10
This film is what War of the World should've been. It's explained much more what the Aliens what and the film in general is explaine much better. This also involves a few comical moments from Will Smith which also betters it when comparing to War of the Worlds. The final thing that makes this film greater than War of the Worlds is the way the get rid of the Aliens, it's much more complex.

I'm reading the Thrawn Trilogy by Timothy Zahn right now, and I'm on Dark Force Rising, the second in the trilogy. Finished reading Heir to the Empire last week, and I'm absolutley loving this series. It's brilliantly written, and Zahn really seems to love the Star Wars universe, or at least have a total grasp on what attracted people to the films in the first place.
I'm reading it slowly though, like a chapter a day at some times because that's how I read books usually (seen as I spend a lot of time on the computer and whatever) but it's just an awesome book. I've also got the Jedi Academy Trilogy to read after this, so me got lots of reading coming.
If you like Zahn's Star Wars books check out Survivors Quest. It's what i'm reading now and it's been full of twists and turns since the beggining.
That's the one with Mara Jade and Luke on the cover isn't it? I've got that one as well, but it'll take me a while to get through the five I've still got before I get to that.

In Lord of The Rings: ROTK where Merry and Pippin get split up and Pippi says "We will see each other again...... won't we?" and Merry replies "I don't know Pip". I've always thought that one was quite emotional.
As mentioned earlier in this thread the ending to My Dog Skip was very sad indeed.

I thought it was a great show. Was never as good as The Office but definatly good. Great to see Stiller in it, he added alot of humour. I'll be watching next week.

My favourite quote is from Airplane:
"We need you to pilot the plane"
"Surely you can't be serious"
"Yes i am serious..... And don't call me Shirly."

Sounds great to me. Jackson's a great director and really great story teller so with him directing this it should be a really treat to watch.
