  1. Team NEO-GEN Enters the Cage

Tito Gonzalez, Chuck Howard, Alvin Jones, Michael Robinson, Keiji Sasaki and Josh Harrington will be fighting on 01/09/05 as a part of King of Cage's first show of 2005.  Gonzalez will be fighting Dan Chase (0-5), Jones will be fighting Gabe Garcia, Robinson will be fighting Eric Paine (7-5), Sasaki will be fighting Philip Preese (4-5) and Harrington will be fighting Kyle Seals (3-2).

We wish all of fighters: Good Luck on 1/9.

  2. The first class of Dojo boys is an eclectic mix of guys from around the country. Everyone from different backgrounds came to NEO-GEN in chasing dreams of becoming a major star in a specialized fighting art. With the help of the training staff that includes Pro Wrestling Head Trainer Rico Constantino and Vale Tudo Head Trainer Bas Rutten, the 10 men have become a complete group.

Josh Harrington, 19, Las Vegas, NV - The Local Kid graduated from Coronado High School in Henderson, NV, where he was a member of the wrestling team. He joined the NEO-GEN dojo in hopes of becoming a star in the upcoming fighting world. He is a solid technician, and a solid striker. The future of this kid is up in the air since he can either be a pro-wrestler or a mixed martial artist. This kid is the current symbol of NEO-GEN.

Dwight Douglas, 22, Los Angeles, CA - Dwight has a great look and great charisma. A decent ability in the ring, and a but lacks a certain killer instinct to be in the MMA world. He is the tallest of the NEO-GEN fighters at 6'4", and is very agile for his size. He seems more destined to become a pro-wrestler than a mixed martial artist due to innate charisma and natural wrestling talent.

Tito Gonzalez, 23, Huntington Beach, CA - One of his idols is Tito Ortiz, and he looks to become as big of a star in MMA. He even bleached his hair to be like Tito and also fights like Tito Ortiz. His dream is to be in a fight with Tito Ortiz. His stand up fighting ability to be fear, but his is also an accomplisehd submission fighter. The future is bright for the kid from the Huntington Beach.

Charles "Chuck" Howard, 19, San Francisco, CA - Another man who looks up to another to a fellow Mixed Martial Artist. He looks up to the Iceman Chuck Liddell. He has formed a brother-like friendship with Tito and the two consistently train together and give each other advice. Despite the friendship, the two consider each other rivals. Charles is a great young fighter with still a lot to learn.

Thomas Moore, 25, Austin, TX - An accomplished wrestler in Texas, Thomas has come to the NEO-GEN Dojo in hopes of becoming a pro-wrestler. His ringwork is solid, but his charisma is extremely questionable. Thomas is a passionate person and is not afraid to let his emotions get to him. He is destined to become a Pro-Wrestler, as it is what his heart desires.

Keiji Sasaki, 20, Oakland, CA - Keiji moved to Oakland after turning 18. In his high school days in Japan, he was an excellent Judoka. His first goal was to become an Olympic Gold Medalist in Judo, but once his love for Judo wore out, he no longer wanted that goal. He came to America for an opportunity to accomplish something, and came to the NEO-GEN for the best possible opportunity. Bas has suggested becoming a MMA Fighter, and is currently pondering his decision.

Alvin Jones, 23, Seattle, WA - Alvin has the most previous MMA experience out of anyone in the Dojo. He came to the Dojo in pursuit of more knowledge. He previously trained at AMC Pankerton with Josh Barnett. He is stubborn, but is willing to learn. To his credit, he is arguably the best fighter in the entire dojo and leads the NEO-GEN team into battle in any fighting code.

Paul Johnson, 21, Portland, OR - Paul has had previous training in Pro-Wrestling. He previously was training in the UPW Academy, but transfered schools after falling out with UPW Trainers over what they were telling him. He is the shortest of all Dojo candidates at 5'9", he is the only one who can execute high flying moves, but mostly wants to remain on the ground.

Michael Robinson, 22, Phoenix, AR - Michael is a lightweight fighter, who has the entertainment value of Genki Sudo. He is unpredictable and extremely charismatic. He has the potential to become a major fighter in the MMA world and is training various styles of fighting and is a natural student of the game.

Tony Zaretti, 18, San Diego, CA - At 18, Tony is the youngest member of the Dojo. He is a natural athlete and is picking up pro-wrestling quickly. Despite his age, he is very mature and is a natural learner. He will become a solid worker for NEO-GEN.

  3. As long as I could recall, I was a wrestling fan. I never had a bigger dream than owning a Pro Wrestling federation. Yet in recent years, I've noticed that Pro Wrestling in the United States has become a joke. The classic saying goes: In Mexico, it's a religion, in Canada it's a tradition, in Japan it's a sport and in America it's a joke." I wanted to open up a pro wrestling federation.

I managed to save up $50,000 from various gambling winnings and my job, but that was substantially lower than what I needed. I decided to seek out a certain former WWE employee who was working at a casino that I enjoyed playing at. You may know him as Rico Constantino. He was a secruity guard at the Palms and I decide to seek him out. After hours of negotiation, I managed to convince him to come on board and open up a wrestling school with me. He managed to bring some money into this venture, but for some reason I felt like I had another purpose in opening my wrestling federation. I wanted to restore the crediblity of Pro Wrestling, and no longer make it into the joke it is. Thusly, I sought after a man who could also train in Mixed Martial Arts. After much searching, I found one person who was willing to become a trainer at the new Dojo I was opening up. His name was Bas Rutten. The Dojo had two trainers. Both able to teach martial arts, but also able to teach pro-wrestling. Together we managed to get $250,000 and I had offered them ownership in the project as well, so it was a way to pay them back for what they were doing.

We managed to find a place to open up our Dojo. We called it the NEO-GEN Dojo. We put the basics in there: a ring, weights, punching bag. I must admit I was impressed. We opened up the Dojo, but decided to incorporate try outs similar to those of NJPW's. Only 12 men managed to pass the admissions test, but two men dropped out. The 10 men were trained in Mixed Martial Arts and Pro Wrestling.

The quest for re-establishing Pro Wrestling's Crediblity had begun.

  5. Well of course, what else was released this year?

I personally think its overrated since a large chunk of the anti-FF crowd worship Tales since it is a series that isn't FF yet is consistent in releases.  Part of the reason it's been praised so highly is because this crowd is very vocal.

Though, yes, it is the best RPG this year.

  6. Its mostly just the satisfaction that you have a copy ready for you. I mean some games, you don't have to pre-order, but one game that comes to mind in recent times that you had to pre-order:

    Tales of Symphonia.

That game was extremely hard to find, since Namco undershipped. Basically, the odds of undershipping are slim, but the fact that you have a copy waiting for you is a nice thought.

And RDB, there is no difference, he just wanted to start a topic about pre-ordering games.

  7. Just one word: No

It shouldn't be banned. Parents should honestly, monitor what their children play more often. There is a reason games are rated Mature. Or if they allow the kids to play, then they should at least explain to them the moral nature of real life and the difference between real life and fantasy.

  8. With only 1/3 of the tickets sold, this olympics has the potential to be the worst in terms of making money. That is pretty sad, but I understand why.

Look the area isn't fully prepared for the Olympics and that could be the problem behind the slow ticket sales. Once all the arenas and stadiums are fully operational, ticket sales go up to the day before the olympics. Sad how the olympics have gone downhill from 1996.

GO NAGATA!!! WIN THE GOLD FOR JAPAN!!

  9. I'll give it a try for $20. I never really liked the Gameplay controls for ESPN, but the presentation always made me play it. As a sports fan, I shouldn't care much which game is better because both have thier strong points and its great that I can have more than one option to play video games.

I mean I like Madden and have been loyal since '92 and I think Competition is good for Madden. It will force them to constantly improving instead of the hit and miss nature they've had. Yet, 2005 seems like the first signs of consistant improvement with the improvement of the playmaker control on the defensive side of the ball.

  10. Can you be offered to join better divisions? Since I'm playing as UNLV and the Mountain West is a very difficult place to play especially if you have built a contender. I just wanted to see if that could happen.

  11. My all-time favorite would be Spiderman and a guility pleasure for Daredevil.

Spiderman: Teenager with various responsiblities other than saving lives.

Daredevil: Blind Guy and darn it Sonar Vision is just too cool.

Edit: Superman Sucks (Godfatha said Too Perfect) as, as does DC in general =)
