  1. I want it because of the extra disc with the 2 first Metal Gear games and the fact that theres a new camera in it. Mainly because the traditional Metal Gear camera doesn't suit #3.

The online stuff though sounds interesting. I've never played multiplayer on my console before mostly because multiplayer games don't interest me as much as single player ones. This is making me reconsider though.

  2. Limp Bizkit. One of those guilty pleasures I like to keep secret.

I dunno if you can count this one but Less Than Jake as well. Almost everyone I know with the except of a few people just simply shit all over them. They make fairly brainless yet hugely entertaining and catchy music, I love it.

  3. Sabin wasn't effeminate. Neither was Shadow. Or Cecil. Kain. Any of the Cid's. Lionheart. Haven't seen jack shit about Advent Children, since it doesn't interest me, but Cloud was far from effeminate. Squall was a walking stereotypical badass (which I'm quite fine with). Auron. Fighter... -_- Their villains have in some ways, but not really their heroes..

  4. That and I'm still greatly offended by an interview I read awhile ago where they went out of their way to cut out the original main character design for Vaan and went with a more "girly" and "effeminate" hero since that's apparently the in thing in Japan. As much as people shit on Tidus, at least he didn't literally look like a woman.

  5. Get a list of every Bad Religion song. Close your eyes and drop your finger on the page. You'll probably find a good one under your finger. Theres a song from the average "No Substance" album called "The State Of The End Of The Millenium Address" which is essentially Greg Graffin simply talks over the top of a simple riff which is nicely written.

I do have to say that I love "ifwhiteamericatoldthetruthforonedayitsworldwouldfallapart" by the Manic Street Preachers as a very good anti-America/anti-racist/anti gun song though. Not that the Manics don't have a nice collection of political songs to go with it.

Other than that, Refused, International Noise Conspriacy, Dead Kennedys and even Jello Biafras post-DK material are all ripe for good political songs. Anti-Flag to be honest have to be one of the worst political bands I have ever heard. Their music is catchy, but the lyrics are fucking awful.

  6. Currently, I only enter McDonalds because of McFlurrys. Those things are gorgeous. This gives me another reason to go there now. That and there are shitloads near my house. A nearby town has 3 within less than a mile of each other, which is ridiculous.

  7. Season 4 just finished tonight in the UK.

A superb ending to the season which wraps everything up and sets up a main part of next seasons storyline. That guy walking in staring at Mackey when they are at the party at the end? Heh, I loved that bit, it was a nice way to cast a shadow over the celebrations they were having.

I absolutely adore this show. The fact that next year there is going to be more of it than usual just makes me even happier. I just hope the writing is up to season 1/2/4 standards (S3 was a slump if you ask me) throughout. Theres a lot of avenues that the show can explore, it continues to suprise and interest me like no other show on TV today.

  8. Wario Ware Touched

    Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

    Mario 64

    Advance Wars - Dual Strike

Kirby Kanvas (Just import it, DS games are region free. The UK version isn't out for a while and the only difference is the name, which has been shit-ified for a PAL release)

    Meteos (For the music alone)

    Nintendogs

Oh, and Mario Kart is out in less than 2 months too.

  9. Manic Street Preachers.

I used to pass them off as "indie crap" throughout my earlier years. Then I downloaded "The Holy Bible" and then rushed out to buy the deluxe version of it. Absolutely jaw droppingly fantastic album.

Now I adore them, even listening from THB all the way up to Lifeblood. Their music is inconsistent, a lot of great songs contrasted with some fairly awful ones, but overall they are a great band. Back when Richey was in the band, they really did rock.

  10. Just finished it.

Final chapters are too rushed. Too many elements are introduced without any build up or depth to them, so they mostly fall kinda flat.

Good game overall though. Door is open for a sequel.

You should buy from the shops instead, you could still return it and get your money back :P
