  1. This is the time where it is really important to send in lists so we can speed things up as much as possible.

If we don't get through it we can probably just fill the last few spots on our teams using the waiver system, ideally we'd only need a couple of spot to fill at that point if we get things moving again.

  2. Pryor selected by the Raiders in the 3rd round.

I'm fine with it. He's not in line to be the QB any time soon, and he could turn into a passable WR or H-Back. A third is a little early, but only by a round or so.

Honestly, I'm just tired of the idea that EVERY move the Raiders make is this historically bad move. It's gotten pretty fucking old. They've drafted well recently, and yeah, they tend to draft fast guys. Guess what, you can't teach speed, and most of those picks have worked out well. Darren McFadden is awesome. Jacoby Ford is good. DHB, not so much. Everyone harps on the Jamarcus pick, but hindsight is 20/20.

It's almost to the point where I'm going to stop talking about the NFL with, well, anyone, because of it. Enough is enough.

Yeah I am by no means a Raider fan. I think Pryor in the 3rd round wasn't really that much of a reach. I may get crucified for saying this, but I don't know if there is a huge gap between Cam Newton and Pryor. I think Cam is better and has more upside, but Pryor has talent. I really don't think Ohio St. knew how to use Pryor to the best of his abilities.

Oakland takes a lot of crap because of Al Davis, and Al Davis makes some pretty unexplainable moves that confuse the hell out of me. But the team has talent and I wouldn't be completely shocked to see the Raiders in the playoffs, especially after they went 6 - 0 last season in division. Though I wouldn't bet on them either.

  3. Per his list, davidmarrio is going to select...

    Pittsburgh Steelers Defense

And than I am going to go with...

Michael Crabtree, WR - San Francisco 49ers

I'd feel much better about this with someone other than Alex Smith throwing the ball, but I am hopeful Harbaugh can make this a somewhat average offense and Crabtree can break loose.

  4. Shame about Tompkins, hell of a striking coach, one of the best really.

Great night for the WEC guys, Cerrone and Ben were fantastic, especially Ben. I'd rather Ben in a title shot than Guida at this point.

Chris Lytle going out the way he did was awesome, though its a shame that it'll be the last time we see him.

  5. yeah I was in a PPR last year and McCoy was great for me. PPR favors backs like him, so the pick didn't really surprise me. I probably would have taken him in the 2nd if he was still around.

Yeah, he's basically Westbrook without the injuries.

Now watch him get hurt.. which reminds me, why is this draft so early? Usually want at least a pre-season game or two before drafting, IMO. Especially this year, with the shortened off-season.

Because it could take a while doing it this way. We are off to a great start, but you never know.
