    News and Rumors

    By: Joe Hackett

This is our special, backstage report. We've managed to get one of our reporters into the backstage area of tonight's Smackdown show. We are under an hour away from air time and we are hearing that the backstage area is chaotic at the moment.

We are being told that some superstars from both the Raw and Smackdown rosters are being talked about, with possible releases being handed out. Some of the names are interesting indeed, but we won't know for sure until after Smackdown.

The planned return angle for Emad Yehia is said to now be in the process of being reworked. The plan that was in the works has now been dropped due to conflicts. We found out that Emad Yehia was set to return and reveal that he had been the person that helped Tom Howard and Sylvester Terkay win the tag team titles. Due to the fact that Howard and Terkay are going to tour Zero One in a few weeks, their lack of appearances would make the return meaningless. Because of that, the company is now trying to find a new route to take with the return of Emad Yehia. It's not likely, but the return could be pushed back a few weeks.

A lot of people have been wondering who the Canadian Express could be, and just what they will be like when they do show up. Well we've gotten word that the Canadian Express could very well be an updated take on one of the better tag teams from the 80's, the Midnight Express. I don't know how good of an idea that is, but I don't see the idea working without Jim Cornette.

This is all for now. Check back later for our Smackdown report.

WWE:TNA to go interactive? Sources within the company tell us that this idea has been floating around for the last six months. It has come up within the last few weeks. If the company were to go ahead with the idea of going interactive, it would begin a few weeks before or a few weeks after Wrestlemania 20. Just how they would do it, is unknown. Would they put out an interactive pay-per-view or maybe even an interactive edition of Raw/Smackdown.

As we get closer and closer to Wrestlemania 20, rumors of huge changes keep shooting up to the surface. From what we've been hearing, WWE:TNA could very well put things in motion sometime during or after the two upcoming PPV's. We don't know for sure if it will be through debuts of new stars, sudden face/heel turns, or even another change to the rosters. WWE:TNA is known to be a company to make changes out of nowhere, so anything is possible. A change is in the works, as we've already seen a drastic change with the title picture on Raw. Who would have thought Scott Hall would be challenging for the title this year?

Speaking of the two major titles from Raw and Smackdown. On the Raw side, it looks like we are headed towards a very long and entertaining "road to the championship", as this is the first time in years that we've seen so many possible contenders looking for a shot. The top challengers at the moment are of course Shelton Banjamin, Scott Hall, and Chris Benoit. Those not that far behind are AJ Styles, Christian, Randy Orton, Charie Haas, Jamie Noble, and Triple H. With this many superstars after the championship, it wouldn't surprise us if we saw the reurn of the 10 man Elimination Chamber. Over on the Smackdown side it's another story. Even though there is not as huge of a list of stars going after the title, those that are after it are extremely worthy of the shot. Currently John Cena is defending against Kane, but has a rough road ahead with challenger ranging from RVD, Batista, and Matt Morgan to Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, and Brock Lesnar. Cena will have a tough time keeping that gold around his waist.

  3. Seeing how this is nothing more than a diary, I for one am not offended by any of this. I mean come on, you if you want to read the usual "Vince retires" or "Vince has a heart attack" and some "lucky kid" takes over, they are just about anywhere. This is somewhat of a fresh new way to approach a WWE without Vince/Linda diary. I think it's a good diary so far. I love to see people go to all kinds of extremes in their diary just for the sake of the art of putting together an interesting show. You my friend get a thumbs up.

With Uncensored being just a week away from this upcoming Sunday, the Intercontinental title tournament is nearly coming to an end. Mark Jindrak and Raven face off next week, while Danny Basham awaits the winner of the Big Show versus Billy Kidman match. Kidman overcame a big challenge two weeks ago when he beat Scott Steiner. The challenge standing before him is by far the most challenging to date. Kidman must defeat the seven foot tall, five hundered pound giant in order to advance to next week's match. Can Kidman his roll and defeat Show? Or will Big Show give us a repeat of last week's assault on Kidman?

Tune in live Thursday night to find out!

Cole: Ladies and gentlemen, tonight we have a jam-packed show for you.

Cole: Just a week away from No Way Out, both Shelton Benjamin and Randy Orton will step into the ring against each other. Orton must step up against The Undertaker, while Shelton has athe chance of a lifetime, as he is one of three men challenging Chris Jericho for the WWE title.

Mathews: Also tonight, Chris Benoit will team with the Women's champion, Victoria, to take on Rob Conway and Victoria's No Way Out opponent, Trish Stratus.

Mathews: In what could be a preview of Wrestlemania 20's main event, Chris Jericho defends the WWE title against AJ Styles tonight.

Cole: AJ Styles could very well be heading into No Way Out to defend the WWE title instead of a Wrestlemania title shot against Christian. But if AJ was to come out champion tonight, would that in turn make Chris Jericho versus Shelton Benjamin and the two unknown opponents, a match to earn a Wrestlemania title shot?

Mathews: You make a great point there Cole. I guess we'll just have to wait and see. Also, don't forget Shane McMahon will also be announcing who will fill the two empty spots in the WWE title match, tonight. But right now we must go to the opening bout between Doug Basham and Donovan Morgan.

    Doug Basham vs Donovan Morgan

    (O:72%, C:71%, M:74%)

The match itself wasn't that long, but it was effective for what it was worth. Doug and Donovan went hold for hold, but Morgan took control after a few exchanges. Doug's fate was sealed when Morgan hit him with a devastating head and arm suplex. Morgan pulls Doug up from the mat and nailed him with the Chickenwing Michinoku Power Driver. The referee dropped down and made the easy three count.

    Winner: Donovan Morgan

Donovan Morgan got up to his feet and looked as intense winning, as he did through out the entire match. The referee didn't raise his arm, most likely due to fear of what Morgan would do. The referee left the ring and Morgan just looked down at Basham. Morgan went to a corner and raised his arms up in the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Morgan leaped out of the ring and we cut to the back.

    Legend Killer's Arrival

    (O:80%)

In the back we see The Coach rushing towards the parking lot. As he gets there, we see Evolution stepping out of a black, stretch limo. Randy Orton and Ric Flair are the first two to exit the limo, followed by Torrie & Maven, then Kazarian & Shane. Coach walks up to Randy and begins to ask him questions.

Coach: Randy, I need a moment of your time. The fans want to know your thoughts on facing Shelton Benjamin later on tonight.

Orton looks at Coach with a slightly blank look on his face. The expression changes quickly into one of anger.

Coach: I take it that you didn't know you were wrestling tonight, much less Shelton?

Orton keeps staring at Coach with the same angry look on his face. This begins to make Coach a little worried. Flair pats Orton on the back and then the look of anger goes away. Orton cracks a somewhat cocky smile.

Orton: Listen Coach, it doesn't matter if it's Shelton Benjamin tonight, or The Undertaker next Tuesday. The fact of the matter is, the legend killer is unstoppable. I mean look at my record at the moment. I have beaten them all. Benoit, Guerrero, Angle, Cena, you name them and I've taken them down. I'm on a roll and the legend killer tour starts up once again once I've destroyed The Undertaker. But tonight, Shelton Benjamin is nothing more than a warm-up for me.

Coach: Well no disrespect Randy, but you should take Shelton a little more seriously than just a warm-up. He does have a few victories over current WWE champion, Chris Jericho.

Flair: Coach, does it look like the legend killer here cares about some victories that Benjamin has over Jericho?! No, he does not! WOOOOO!

Flair does a short strut and comes back to Orton's side.

Coach: Well obviously not, but still the question needs to be asked, are you looking to far ahead to your match with The Undertaker, which could hurt your chances of coming out victorious tonight?

Orton: Coach, you are getting on my final nerve here, so you need to watch what you say to me. As for looking ahead, yes I am. The biggest match in my career is upon me, so I need to concentrate everything I have towards that match. And Coach, I'm gonna make a huge announcement right now. At No Way Out, I will prove to you, the fans around the world, and to Taker himself that I am indeed a legend killer, because I will do it on my own. Evolution will not be at ringside at all!

Flair: Are you sure about this Randy?

Orton: Ric, I'm as sure as ever that I can do this. So if you have nothing else Coach, we're out of here.

Orton and Evolution begin to walk towards the door to enter the arena. As the crew is walking, Flair stops and turns around. Flair goes over to Coach and smiles.

Flair: Oh yeah Coach, like I tell my girls, I like a little ass, not a smart ass.

With that said, Flair clocks Coach with a right hand. Flair begins to laugh and walks away. As Coach lays on the ground, holding on to his jaw, we fade out to a commercial break.

    Johnny Stamboli vs Johnny Blaze

    (O:72%, C:73%, M:70%)

We returned from commercial break and the match got under way. Stamboli dominated the match early on, but a small mistake gave Blaze the chance to take control. Blaze worked on Stamboli's leg for a while, but Stamboli began to mount a comeback. Blaze tried to hit him with the Light It Up DDT, but Stamboli countered it into a release Northern Lights Suplex. Blaze got up to his feet and Stamboli lifted Blaze up into a press slam. With the crowd going wild, Stamboli dropped him onto his shoulder and hit a powerslam. Blaze kicked out at two and Stamboli prepared to finish him off. When Blaze got up, Stamboli caught him and hits the Fugettabout It. Stamboli makes the cover, 1.......2.......3!

    Winner: Johnny Stamboli

Torrie comes down to ringside and slides into the ring. Stamboli looks at her and appears to be confused. Torrie walks around him and rubs his chest and back, then goes around and stands in front of him and runs her hand down his arms. While this is going on, Maven leaps over the guard rail and slides into the ring and attacks Stamboli from behind. Torrie laughs on as Maven stomps away on The Bull. The crowd pops when a woman wearing a Yakees cap jumps out of the crowd and slides into the ring. The woman spears Torrie down and this distracts Maven. He goes over and pulls her off Torrie by the hair. This causes the cap to fall off and we see that it's Trinity. As Maven tries to strike Trinity, Stamboli has gotten up to his feet and he pulls Maven away. Stamboli punches away on the Evolution member and then clotheslines him over the top rope. As Trinity tries to catche Torrie again, she rolls out fo the ring and goes over to Maven. Trinity and Stamboli stand tall in the ring with their arms in the air. As the fans cheer them on, we cut to the backstage area.

Jamie Noble is shown walking into his locker room. As he enters, we see that the locker room has been trashed. Noble goes over and kicks things away and looks for his things. He sees that nothing is missing, so he looks around some more to see if the person is still in there. He finds nobody, so picks up his stuff from the floor and then sees that there is a note taped onto his gym bag. Noble pulls it off and we see that it says, "The Game is now officially on!" Noble realizes that it was more than likely Triple H who did the trashing. As he is about to clean up, there is a knock on the door.

Noble: Damn it, now what!! What the hell do you want?!!

Noble swings the door open, but before he can see anything, Triple H charges in and tackles him down. H begins to lay in with hard punches. Noble manages to get away, but H grabs him from behind and slams him into the wall. Noble staggers back and H grabs him again and tosses him into the wall, which gets busted up when Noble flies through it. H opens the door and goes out after Noble. He lifts him up and nails him with a Pedigree. Before H can do more harm, officials come over and pull him away from the US champion. We fade out to commercial as H tries to go back to attack Noble.

Chris Jericho vs AJ Styles [WWE Championship]

    (O:95%, C:90%, M:100%)

A shocker to the fans, the WWE championship match came on early on in the show. Both Jericho and Styles brought their best to the table. The fans were on the edge of their seat through the entire match. Jericho and Styles both took turns controlling the match. Half way through the bout, Jericho used an illegal low blow to take full control. Styles began to mount a comeback and it got him a couple near falls. Ten minutes into the match, Jericho ducked a clothesline attempt from Styles and the referee was knocked out of the ring. Jericho slid out of the ring as Styles checked on the referee. Jericho grabbed his WWE title and slid in and layed in the ring waiting for Styles. Without knowing the Jericho has the title, Styles lifted the referee up and rolled him back into the ring. As Styles is about to slide into the ring, Christian comes running down the ramp. Styles lifts Jericho up and manages to see the belt shot coming and drops down out of the way. Jericho tries again, but Styles knocks the belt out of his hands. As Styles tries to grab Jericho, he gets kicked low by the champion. Styles drops down to his knees in pain. Christian slides into the ring and attacks the champion. Jericho staggers back and tries to exit the ring, but can't. Christian sets Jericho up for the Unprettier, but Jericho drops down and escapes Christians grasp. Jericho rolls back and shoves Styles towards Christian's back. Christian feels someone behind him, so he reaches back and nails an Unprettier. Unknowingly, he hits it on Styles. Jericho picks Christian up and drives him into the ring post and then tosses him out of the ring. Jericho runs over Styles and leaps to the middle rope and springs off with the Lionsault. The referee slowly begins to count, 1..........2.........3!

    Winner: Chris Jericho

Christian pulls himself up by grabbing on to the apron. He looks on as Jericho grabs his belt and rolls out of the ring with a huge smirk on his face. Jericho taunts Christian as he makes his way up the ramp. Before Jericho can make it to the top of the stage, we hear "Marvelous Me" plays. The crowd goes wild at the sound of the song and Jericho's eyes widen. He turns around and looks for someone to come out of the entry way, but nobody comes out. On the titantron we see, "The Bad Guy returns......at No Way Out!. The crowd erupts at the sight of the message on the tron. Many "Hall" chants break out throughout the arena. As Styles rolls over to his stomach, we fade out to a video hyping up No Way Out.

    Seven (w/Mysterio) vs Val Venis

    (O:85%, C:84%, M:86%)

As we cut to a shot of the arena, we see Seven beating on Val Venis on the ramp. Venis is busted open and Seven jerks him up to his feet and tosses him down the ramp. Seven rolls Venis into the ring and the referee calls for the bell. This match lasted no more than a minute and a half. Seven dominated the entire match and hit Venis with a few hard hitting moves. Venis looked pretty much knocked out, but Seven lifted him up and nailed him with the Sinner Shot. The referee dropped down when Seven made the cover and counted the three count.

    Winner: Seven

The lights dimmed down as Seven picked up the win. The titantron lights up and a message appears, "Five more souls will be collected, then the apocalypse will arrive!". The tron fades to static and then the face of James Mitchell appears. He begins to laugh sinisterly as we fade to a commercial break.

Full No Way Out Card Announced

    (O:86%)

As we return from commercial break, we see Shane McMahon sitting in his office.

Shane: Ladies and gentlemen, as you know No Way Out is next Tuesday night. I have just signed a huge six man tag match due to the actions of Maven and Evolution tonight. Also, our WWE title match has taken a huge blow over the last few days, as Edge has been sidelined with an injury and Shane Douglas has left the company. This left us with a void to fill. We could have gone simply with Shelton Benjamin versus Chris Jericho, but we felt that all the hype for a four way match should not be wasted. With that said, we took a close look at our roster and their win/loss records and decided that one person stood tall over all the rest and deserved to be in this match. That man is none other than Chris Benoit. This now leaves one more spot to fill in the match, so I looked for someone deserving of the shot, but a lot of the men in the roster need to prove to me that they deserve it. So I contacted a close friend and he agreed to come to No Way Out and take part in this match. Ladies and gentlemen, the fourth man in the WWE title match is the one, the only, Scott Hall!

With that announcement said, a video rundown of the entire card plays.

Chris Benoit & Victoria vs Rob Conway & Trish Stratus

    (O:85%, C:86%, M:85%)

The match was a lot better than people would expect. The divas were giving their all tonight and the fans showed them great respect for the effort. Conway and Benoit put on one of the greatest performances of their own. The two men showed signs of having what it takes to be contenders for the WWE title. Victoria and Trish battled to the outside, which brought Conway and Benoit into the ring. The two traded blows for a bit, but it all came to a sudden end, as Benoit caught Conway out of nowhere with a Crippler Crossface.

    Winners: Chris Benoit & Victoria

Conway rolled out of the ring, holding on to his arm. Trish helped him up the ramp, but the whole time she looked back and traded words with Victoria. Benoit and Victoria celebrated their victoriy in the ring. Chris Jericho came out to the stage and looked down at the ring and locked eyes with Benoit. The two stared at each other as we cut to the last commercial break of the night.

    Randy Orton vs Shelton Benjamin

    Match - (O:89%, C:87%, M:91%)

    Aftermath - (O:90%)

When we returned from commercial break, the two men made their way down to the ring. Shelton and Orton went face to face, but Orton pulled the old thumb to the eye trick and got the early advantage. Orton dominated Shelton for a good five minutes, but then he began to mount the classic comeback. Orton was surprised at Shelton's comeback. Orton tried to hit a quick RKO, but Shelton countered it into a back roll up. Orton kicked out with just a split second before the referee came down for the three count. Flair tried to get involved, but Shelton knocked him off the apron.

    Winner: No Contest

As Shelton and Orton continue to do battle, the lights go out and a gong is heard. A bright purple spotlight shines over the ring. At this time, both Shelton and Orton have stopped fighting. A figure emerges from the entry way and this brings an extremely scared look to the face of Orton. Shelton looks on, but is struck from behind by Jericho, who came out from the crowd. The referee doesn't know what to do, so he allows everything to go on. Orton looks on and then sees the figure walking towards the ramp, so he runs out of the ring and leaps over the guard rail. Orton runs through the crowd and disappears through one of the exits. The figure on the ramp waves his hand, as if calling for the lights, and they come on. The crowd pops when they see that the person in the dark was Chris Benoit wearing a coat. Benoit sprints down to the ring and attacks Jericho. The two trade blows as the WWE:TNA copyright logo comes on the screen. The show goes off the air with a final shot of Benoit applying the Crossface on Jericho.

    News and Rumors

    By: Nathaniel Demerest

As it stands right now, with Edge out for another year and Shane Douglas walking out, the WWE title match at No Way Out is still being promoted as a four way match. WWE:TNA will more than likely move two other contenders to the WWE title up for that match. With AJ Styles and Christian set to battle for the shot at a the WWE title at Wrestlemania 20, don't expect them to be part of the match. The most likely candidates are Chris Benoit, Billy Gunn, Matt Hardy, Rob Conway, and Maven.

Now, speaking of the much talked about walk-out just two days ago, we've gotten confirmation of all the stars that decided to walk-out. The already announced superstars were Tommy Dreamer, Bubba Ray & D-Von Dudley, Shane Douglas, and Cibernetico. But those that were not known until now are CM Punk, Low Ki, Tajiri, and Sean O'Haire. The reason behind the newly revealed four superstars are unknown. Low Ki and Tajiri had just been paired together and it had been the first time back on TV for Low Ki since winning the Super J tournament. O'Haire was set to move back into the heavyweight title picture, so like Douglas, it's strange that he would walk out with a push just coming to him.

A few days ago we reported that WWE:TNA might be contacting former WWE superstars that are now considered legends, for a possible match with Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 20. Well we've gotten word from a reliable source that the rumored names were way off and that in fact a legend has been contacted and he has agreed to the proposed match. The source would not reveal who the legend is, but did let us know that he is a former WWE champion, as well as a former Intercontinental champion.

We cut to the back and see Paul Heyman in the parking lot. Heyman is walking back and forth, as he talks on his cell phone. He screams and yells at the person on the other end of the phone. After a few seconds he, he gives one final, loud yell and tosses his phone to the ground. Heyman doesn't look to be in such a great mood. As he is walking towards the door to enter the arena, a car pulls up in front of him. Heyman loocks at the car and wonders who is in it. As the door opens, Heyman's eyes wided when Eddie Guerrero shoots out of the door and dives at him. Eddie tackles Heyman to the ground and prepares to attack him.

    Heyman: Help! HELP!!!

Eddie: You can scream all you want ése, nobody is coming to help you.

Eddie, with a huge grin on his face, punches Heyman a couple times. Before Eddie can do some serious damage, the arena door opens and out comes Rob Van Dam with a couple police officers. Eddie tries to fight them off, but gets taken down and pinned to the ground and then cuffed. The officers pull him up to his feet. Eddie tries to kick Heyman, but gets dragged away from both RVD and Heyman. The officers slam Eddie onto the hood of a nearby car and wait for another officer to pull up in a squad car. The officers go through with placing Eddie withing the car. RVD knocks on the drivers window and asks him to roll down the back window so he can say something to Eddie.

RVD: Tough break Eddie, but I guess you're used to jail cells. I mean you can't be a liar, cheater, and stealer without having done time atleast once. You have a good night Eddie, and I hope you enjoy your night in prison. Oh and dude, don't worry about Chavo........we'll take good care of him tonight.

RVD flashes a cocky smile before walking away from the squad car. As the police officers clear out and the squad car leaves, we see Paul Heyman still standing there thinking about something. After a few seconds, he smiles while rubbing his cheek and then walks off laughing out loud. We fade out to the first commercial break of the night.

London hits Kashin with a lifting powerbomb, which set up Kashin perfectly in the middle of the ring. London leaped up to the top rope and then leaped off with the London Calling. The referee drops down to the mat and makes the count, 1......2......3!

    Winner: Paul London

Paul London gets his arm raised and then is handed his Cruiser-X title. London looks into the camera and tells Jeff Hardy that he'll be waiting for him at Uncensored. As London leaps out of the ring, we cut to the back and see Eric Bischoff walking out of his office. Bischoff walks past some crew guys and then comes up to the locker room door and pauses for a second.

    Bringing the Pain Tonight?

    O:88%

Eric Bischoff opens the locker room door and enters. Brock, who was sitting, pops up to his feet and goes towards Bischoff. Bischoff tells him to calm down and Brock backs down a little, but still looks to be in a bad mood. Bischoff clears his throat and looks right at Brock.

Bischoff: Listen Brock, I know you and Batista can't help but go at each other like two bulls, so I took it upon myself to make sure that Batista was not allowed in the arena tonight. Tonight all you have to worry about is your match with Kane. Save all your anger for Batista until Uncensored and unleash it there.

Brock: Eric, I can't promise to keep my anger buried until the pay-per-view. If I see Batista anywhere, it's going down right there and then. So if he decides to show up tonight, it's gonna happen here. If he shows up at the airport, then all hell will break loose there. It doesn't matter where it is, I will get my hands on that son of a bitch! But as for Kane tonight, he's gonna feel the pain. And if the Dangerous Alliance decides to come down to the ring, they will feel it too!

Brock walks past Bischoff and exits the locker room. Bischoff just stands there looking worried as to just what Brock may do later on in the show. As Bischoff turns to exit the room, we fade out to another commercial break.

As we returned from commercial break, we see Tom Howard beating on Christopher Daniels. The match had just begun thirthy seconds before we returned. About a minute into the match, Daniels set up to hit the Last Rites, but Sylvester Terkay slid into the ring and attacked the Fallen Angel. The referee called for the bell quickly.

    Winner: Christopher Daniels via DQ

Howard and Terkay began to completely assault Daniels. The fans booed heavily with every blow they landed on Daniels. The crowd out of nowhere went wild as someone slid into the ring with a steel chair. The man cracked Howard in the back with the chair and the blasted Terkay in the face with it. As both Howard and Terkay rolled out of the ring, we se that the man is none other than "Primetime" Elix Skipper! Primetime screams at Howard and Terkay to get back in the ring, but they opt to simply walk up the ramp and head to the back to think up a plan. Primetime helps Daniels up to his feet. The two stare each other down, but then they extend their arms and shake hands. The crowd goes nuts when the two raise their arms in the air and give the Triple X sign.

Rob Van Dam vs Chavo Guerrero

    O:80% C:84% M:93%

Match didn't go too long. Chavo got in some good offense, but RVD countered back with some offense of his own. Chavo takes control of the match and begins to wear Mr. Thursday Night down, but a well timed distraction by Heyman gives RVD the chance to take Chavo down and dominate the rest of the match. RVD hits all his signature spots and even a vicious Rolling Thunder. RVD leaps up to the top rope and hits a Five Star Frog Splash. The referee drops down to count, 1......2......NO! RVD pulls Chavo's head up. The referee tells RVD to just pin him. RVD goes up to the top and comes off with another Five Star. RVD rolls off Chavo before the ref can get down to count and goes to the top once more. RVD hits a third Five Star and the referee drops down and counts again, 1......2.....3!

    Winner: Rob Van Dam

The ref tries to raise RVD's arm, but gets shoved down to the mat. The ref rolls out of the ring as RVD charges at him. RVD rolls out of the ring and chases the ref off. Once the referee has left ringside, RVD turns back to the ring and walks toward it. Before going in, RVD knees down and pulls the apron cover and begins pulling something out from under the ring. Some of the fans pop for what they see, as RVD pulls a ladder from under the ring. RVD slides the ladder into the ring. RVD kneels back down and this time pulls out a table. Van Dam slides the table into the ring and then slides in himself. RVD picks the table up and sets it up in the middle of the ring. RVD then pulls Chavo up and props him on top of the table. The fans boo RVD as he does his signature thumb pointing and then sets up the ladder in one of the corners. Van Dam scales up to the top rung and takes a huge leap off the ladder. RVD comes crashing down with a Five Star Frog Splash on Chavo. RVD rolls off Chavo and the completely shattered table, holding his ribs. Chavo can be heard screaming ou in pain. Paul Heyman comes into the ring with a mic in hand.

Heyman: I've said it many times and I'll say it again, nobody gets higher than Rob Van Dam. And Eddie, I know you're watching from your jail cell, so I say to you this, RVD 4:20 says he just smoked Chavo's ass!

Heyman drops the mic and leaves the ring laughing. RVD rolls out of the ring, still holding on to his ribs. The two walk up the ramp and taunt the crowd in order to draw tons of heat. As they go through the curtain, we fade out to a commercial break.

    No Laughing Matter

    O:70%

As we return from the break, we see Terkay and Howard arguing about just who is to blame for the surprise attack from Elix Skipper. The two begin to blame each other for not being on the look out. As they continue, Rico and Spanky walk by laughing. This causes both Howard and Terkay to stop what they are doing and then turn to see Rico and Spanky. With a extremely hateful look on his face, Howard goes over and catches Rico and spins him around.

Howard: You find something funny? Do we ammuse you? You know what.....screw it!

Howard delivers a thunderous double clothesline on Rico and Spanky. As the two men hit the floor, Sylvester Terkay rushes over and joins in on the attack. Howard lifts Rico up and hits an overhead release belly to belly suplex. Rico crashes through some crates that were near by. Terkay lifts Spanky and tosses him hard into the wall. As Spanky staggers forward, holding on to his back, Terkay grabs him by the throat and then slams him down to the hard floor. The two men walk off, having done their damage. We then suddently cut to a shot of somewhere else in the backstage area. We see Kidman fly through a window and then lands hard on the floor. The door then opens and out walks the Big Show. Show goes over and pulls Kidman up, who is now bleeding. Show wraps his huge hand around Kidman's neck and lifts him up and slams him down with the Showstopper. Big Show leaves Kidman laying, just seconds away from his six man tag match.

Sonny Siaki, Billy Kidman, & Raven vs Matt Morgan, Mark Jindrak, & Rene Dupree

    O:70% C:75% M:80%

Everybody made their way down to the ring, except Kidman who had just been assaulted backstage moments earlier. This match unexpectedly became a handicap match. The Dangerous Alliance and Dupree dominated this match for a good portion of the time. Raven had been kept on the heels side of the ring for a long time, but once he got away and made the hot tag to Siaki, the roof came off the arena. The fans were going crazy as Siaki cleared house. On the outside of the ring, Rene Dupree drove Raven head first into the steel steps with a hard Death Valley Driver. Siaki was doing a good job of fighting the odds, but with Raven completely taken out, his chances faded quick. The numbers took their toll on Siaki and he fell to Matt Morgan's Stalling Sit-out Powerbomb. Morgan got an uncontested three count.

Winners: Matt Morgan, Mark Jindrak, & Rene Dupree

Dupree slid back into the ring and began to attack on Siaki, just like Morgan and Jindrak were already doing. The three took turns delivering blows to the helpless Siaki. As it look like the end for Siaki, Ekmo and Kimo ran down to the ring and chased of Dupree and the Dangerous Alliance members. Morgan and Jindrak laughed all the way up the ramp, while Dupree exchanged some words with Raven, who had barely started to move. The Island Boys helped Siaki up and then Ekmo went to the outside to check on Raven. We faded out to a commercial break when all four men started to walk up the ramp.

    Another Match Added to Uncensored

    O:83%

As we return, we see Bischoff walking backstage. He opens a door to the Dangerous Alliance locker room and steps aside as Kane leaves. Bischoff storms in and gets in the face of Paul Heyman. RVD gets up to his feet, but Heyman tells him to calm down.

Bischoff: Listen Heyman, I don't know where you got the idea that you can do whatever you want on my show! You had Eddie Guerrero arrested, had RVD almost end Chavo Guerrero's career. Yes Heyman, Chavo is badly hurt and may never be able to wrestle again.

Heyman: Well that's just too bad, now isn't it. The risk of injury is always there, so you can't really blame us because Chavo got hurt.

Bischoff: Oh I can't? Well guess what I can do, I can fine you! But this is just your one and only warning. Next time I'm handing out suspencions.

RVD: Whoa, whoa, chill out Bischoff! There's no need to get carried away dude. You need to relax and take it easy like R-V..

Bischoff: Can it Rob! I have no advice to take from you on how to do my job! But hear me now, because your little stunt earlier has signed your match at Uncensored. You see, because you love that ladder and table you used on Chavo, I only feel it's best if you were in a match that involved them. So what I am telling right now is that at Uncensored it will be you, Rob Van Dam, taking on Eddie Guerrero....

RVD: Wait a minute Bischoff, I don't have to be in that match because....

Bischoff: Rob, you will be in that match no matter what, because I said so! It's really simple, compete or be fired! So now let me finsh what I was saying before you cut me off. You and Eddie Guerrero at Uncensored and the match will be a Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match!

RVD and Heyman's eyes widen at the sound of Bischoff's announcement. Bischoff turns and exits the locker room. Heyman and RVD remain in a state of shock, while we cut to the arena where Brock Lesnar is making his entrance for the main event.

    Brock Lesnar vs Kane

    O:80% C:90% M:82%

A great match put together by both men. The crowd was eating this match up and loving it. Kane got a good amount of domination in this match and Brock did as well. Kane got a couple near falls on the former world champion. Brock tried to hit the F5 a couple times, but Kane countered them all. As Brock began to mount a huge comeback, we saw the fans turning to see something and it turned out to be Batista making his way through the crowd. Brock and Kane continued to battle without knowledge of Batista's appearance. Brock countered a Tombstone attempt from Kane and muscled Kane up for the F5. As Brock turned to hit the move, he spotted Batista jumping over the protective rail. This causes Brock to drop Kane off his shoulders. Brock goes over to the ropes and opens them and calls Batista into the ring. From behind, Kane hits Brock in the back of the head with a big boot. Brock staggers back and then turns into the hands of Kane. Kane lifts Brock up and slams him down with a huge Chokeslam. Kane drops down on top of Brock, 1........2........3!

    Winner:Kane

While Kane is getting his arm raised, Batista slides in and picks Brock up. Batista shoots him to the ropes and then catches him coming back with a huge spinebuster. Batista rolls out of the ring and then grabs Brock's leg and pulls him out of the ring. Batista sets Brock up for a powerbomb, but then lets him drop to the ground and goes over and makes the announcers leave the table. Batista then clears out the monitors and goesback to pick up Brock. After setting him up again, Batista passes his thumb across his throat, but Brock reverses it and back body drops Batista through the announce table. The crowd goes wild when they see this and begin to chant for Brock. Brock shakes off the pain and pulls Batista up from the table wreckage and the two exchange blows. Nothing that either man seems to keep the other one down. The two battle over the guard rail and continue the fight through the crowd yet again. Kane watches this from the ring and has a huge smile on his face. Out of nowhere, John Cena slides into the ring and Kane has no idea he's there. Kane turns around and Cena kicks him in the gut. The crowd errupts as Cena lifts Kane up for the F-U. Before Cena can hit the move, Jindrak, Morgan, and RVD come in and attack him from behind. Morgan picks Cena up and shoots him to the ropes and hits a boot to the face. Jindrak jerks Cena up and nails the Mark of Magnificence. Morgan and Jindrak grab Cena's arms and legs and extend him so RVD can have a clear shot for the Five Star. As RVD is about to leap up, he catches a glimpse of someone coming down the ring and he motions to the rest to clear out of the ring. As we see the Dangerous Alliance run out of the ring, Ron Killings, B.G. James, and Konnan slide into the ring with chairs in hand. All three men stand over Cena and keep an eye on the Dangerous Alliance. Heyman comes out to the top of the stage and calls his guys back. The show goes off the air with a shot of 3 Live Kru helping John Cena up and the Dangerous Alliance watching them.

    News and Rumors

    By: Oroko Saki

We have huge breaking news concerning WWE:TNA's locker room! This is huge and it couldn't have come at a worse time. With the company heading in to two seperate pay-per-views, walk outs are not what the company needs. Bubba Ray and D-Von Dudley did not wait for their contracts to expire and simply walked out on WWE:TNA and appeared at tonights LPW TV tapings. The shocker here is that they didn't leave alone. Along with the Dudleys, Tommy Dreamer, Shane Douglas, and Cibernetico have all walked out too. Douglas is the only on to appear with the Dudleys at the LPW tapings, but Cibernetico and Dreamer apparently walked out for their own reasons. It's a huge surprise that Douglas walked out, as he was being featured on Raw, in the main event scene to boot. This is just one shattering blow to the No Way Out WWE title match.

Here is the second blow to that match. At tonight's Raw house show, Edge suffered a very serious injury and looks to be on the sideline for well over a year. In what some are calling a freak accident, Edge and Rob Conway were in the middle of a match, when Edge suddenly fell to the mat after he had just hit Conway with a spear. The theory is that Edge may have made more contact with his head instead of his shoulder. The impact must have cause some damage to his just repaired neck. The trainer and EMT's were completely confused as to just how this could have possibly happened. The word from the back is that Edge will undergo immediate surgery, and could possibly have been in his last wrestling match. It's looking more and more like it will be Jericho vs Benjamin at No Way Out.

We will keep you posted on any new developments to these two stories, as we have heard that there may have been others that walked out of WWE:TNA.

    News and Rumors

    By: Hank Venture

There are conflicting reports floating around that WWE:TNA is in fact in talks with LPW owner, Hulk Hogan, about a possible appearance at WrestleMania 20. Some of the reports are saying that a Hulk Hogan vs Randy Savage match is again being considered, while others have him facing Randy Orton. The truth of the matter is that Hogan and WWE:TNA have not had any actual meetings, so these are just rumors, and nothing more. Further more, Hogan is scheduled to face Masahiro Chono at a New Japan Pro-Wrestling event at the Tokyo Dome, on the same night that Wrestlemania will be. By Hogan's track record we know for sure that he will pick the bigger payoff, and that's in Japan.

Now onto a somewhat related topic, there is an active search for the perfect legend to put infront of Randy Orton at Wrestlemania 20. We have heard that no matter what the outcome of the Orton vs Undertaker match at No Way Out, Orton will more than likely be facing off against another legend. At the moment, current superstars Sting, Shawn Michaels, and Triple H are the top contenders for the match. Some may disagree with those three being "legends" at this time, but the fact is that they are future hall of famers, and that is good enough. Outside of the company, it looks like WWE:TNA will be trying to get in touch with Mick Foley, Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, and even possibly "Cowboy" Bob Orton.

Here's an update on the signing of new superstars by WWE:TNA. As we reported last week, Onyx and Orlando Jordan had been approached about joining the company and they signed on the dotted line. It was announced last night at the NWA Wildside tapings for their syndicated show. Onyx and Orlando Jordan came out with the tag titles and claimed that they were the champs and were gonna head on over to either Raw or Smackdown and dump them in the trash on live tv. Some people didn't like the fact that they simply ripped off the way ECW handled the Dudleys leaving for WWE a few years back. The exact same thing happened, even in the challengers. Onyx and Jordan were attacked by Balls Mahoney and Jimmy Rave, then after a referee came down to the ring Mahoney and Rave beat Onyx and OJ for the straps. To further prove that they've signed, both Onyx and OJ are set to wrestle at an OVW show in two weeks against Matt Capotelli and Johnny Jeter Keep an eye open for these two men, as they can appear at any moment.

In two weeks WWE:TNA will hold No Way Out (on a Tuesday night) and Uncensored (on the usual Sunday night), and the cards looks like this so far:

    No Way Out

    WWE Championship

Chris Jericho © vs Shane Douglas vs Shelton Benjamin vs Edge

    United States Championship

Jamie Noble © vs Triple H

Wrestlemania Title Shot on the Line

    Randy Orton vs The Undertaker

    Uncensored

Nidia and Victoria made their entrances after the explosions came to an end. The two divas battled back and forth, with Nidia gaining the advantage after a huge mistake made by the champion. Nidia hit a couple suplexes and then went for a pin, but only got a two count. Victoria mounted a huge comeback, which brought the fans to their feet. Victoria countered a DDT attempt by Nidia and went for a backbody drop, but Nidia countered it with a forearm to the back. Nidia went for a Northern Lights Suplex, but Victoria countered with a DDT. Victoria got up to her feet and signaled that it was time for the end and picked Nidia up. The fans went wild as Victoria lifted Nidia up for the Widows Peak. As Victoria dropped down to the mat, the fans began booing and we saw that Trish Stratus was coming down to the ring. Before the referee could count even a one count, Trish got in the ring and dropped an elbow on the back of Victoria. The referee quickly called for the bell and disqualified Nidia.

    Winner: Victoria via DQ

Trish picked Victoria up and hit her with a quick Stratusfaction. Trish then rolls out of the ring and grabs a chair. The referee tries to get it away from her, but Trish swings at him, causing him to run out of the ring. Trish then begins to lay into Victoria with hard chair shots to the back. Trish continues to assault the champion until a group of officials and road agents came out and pulled Victoria out of the ring. Trish stays in the ring, screaming out to Victoria. An Awkward Meeting

    (O:81%)

Backstage we see Lita walking around, looking for somebody. She peeks into a door, but it appears she doesn't find whoever she is looking for. Lita turns a corner and we see Matt Hardy standing around, talking with Shannon Moore. Lita approaches Matt and Shannon leaves.

Lita: Hey Matt, I finally found you.

Matt turns around slowly and cracks a small smile as he see Lita.

    Matt: Hey Lita, what's up?

Lita smiles and just chuckles a little. There is a brief moment of awkward silence, but Lita clears her throat and gets right to what she was looking to tell Matt.

Lita: Yeah, umm, yeah Shane sent me to look for you because he has booked you to wrestle tonight.

Matt: Tonight? I thought I had the night off tonight.

Lita: I don't know, I guess you don't. All he told me was to let you know that you will be teaming with Chris Jericho and Shane Douglas. Well, I'll see you around. Good luck.

Lita turns and begins to walk off, but Matt takes a step forward and grabs her by the shoulder and stops her from leaving. Lita turns around with an uncertain look on her face. In the background, the fans can be heard letting out a mixed reaction to what they see.

Matt: Was there anything else that you wanted to say?

Lita: I don't think it's important. Besides, you need to prepare for your match later tonight.

Matt: I have plenty of time to prepare, so just come out and say what you have on your mind. Is it about us?

    Lita: ........

Matt just drops his head and turns to walk away. Lita grabs Matt's arm and stops him from leaving this time. Matt turns and stares at Lita, just waiting for something to come out of her mouth. There is another moment of brief awkward silence. Lita brushes her hair away from her face and stares right at Matt as she speaks.

Lita: I know we've stayed away from each other these past few months, but I.....I can't....

Matt: Lita, I think I know what you are going to say, and I too can't stop thinking about you. I think we should get back together. How about you?

Lita continues to stare at Matt until a tear rolls down her cheek. Lita turns away from Matt and takes off running in the opposite direction. Matt watches her run, in shock. Matt then takes off after her. As Matt is seen running in the background, we cut to a commercial break.

We return from commercial break and this match is already under way. Test is dominating Lynn at the time we join the match. Test uses his strength to keep the advantage on the more experienced Lynn. After a few near falls, Test attempts to hit a Pump Handle Suplex, but Lynn slips out of the hold. Lynn spins Test around and hits him with a couple right hands and then shoots him to the ropes. As he goes to the opposite side, Traci leaps up to the apron and draws the attention of the referee. Heath Cameron on the outside grabs Lynn's foot, which causes him to stop what he's doing. He turns to swing at Heath, but he manages to move back. Lynn turns around, but walks right into a Big Boot to the face. Test drops down onto Lynn and calls out to the ref. 1.......2.......3!

    Winner: Test

Test stands up and stands over the fallen Jerry Lynn. Heath Cameron rolls into the ring and picks up Lynn. The crowd boos as Cameron drives Lynn down onto the mat with the Hybrid Piledriver. Michael Cole and Josh Mathews talk about how despicable Test and Cameron are. They then let the fans know that in two weeks, Test and Heath Cameron will face Jerry Lynn and a mystery partner to crown new Raw tag team champions. We fade out to a short No Way Out video.

We see Charlie Haas and Edge walk into the office, so it's obvious that the person on the other end of the phone is Shelton Benjamin. Shane shakes hands with both Edge and Haas.

Shelton: So Shane 'O, the match at No Way Out is made right?

Shane: Signed, sealed, and delivered my friend. You, Edge, and Shane Douglas will challenge Chris Jericho for the WWE title. As for tonight, just get here as quickly as possible. Both men made their entrances for this match. The ref called for the bel and both men locked up. Jarrett go the better of the lock up, which cause Regal to roll out to the outside. Regal walked around the ring, which drew Jarrett to come out as well. Regal ran around the other side and then rolled into the ring. Jarrett slid in, but the ref stopped him as he stood. Regal dug into his tights and pulled out a pair of brass knucks. With the referee's back to him, Regal swung and struck Jarrett with the loaded fist. Regal tossed the knucks to the outside as Jarrett dropped down to the mat. The referee looks down at Jarrett, surprised. Jarrett is completely knocked out cold. Regal makes a cocky pin and gets the easy three count.

    Winner: William Regal

Before Regal can even get a chance to celebrate, Charlie Haas slides into the ring and tackles him down. Haas hits Regal with heavy rights and lefts, but the referee pulls him away. regal manages to take this chance to roll out and run to the back. Haas shoves the ref aside and jumps out of the ring as well. Haas chases after Regal while we fade out to another video for No Way Out.

Cole and Mathews then go on to tell us that Shane McMahon has signed Triple H vs Ultimo Dragon for later on in the show. The music of Shannon "All That And" Moore hits and both he and Lance Cade come out in street clothes. The two appear to be ready for the upcoming street fight. Before they can make it into the ring, the lights go out and a haunting symphony plays. A bright spotlight then appears on Cade and Moore. The two appear to be frightened by what is happening. We then see Shawn Michaels come from behind and attacks the two of them. The lights come back on and Sting comes flying down from the rafters. As Sting lands and unhooks himself, HBK tosses Moore into the ringside steps. The referee calls for the bell and the match is under way.

Sting gets on Cade and punches away on him. HBK on the outside completely assaults Moore and constantly slams his head into the steps. HBK picks Moore up and shoots him to the rail, but it's reversed. HBK hits the rail hard and then Moore hits him with a superkick. Moore pulls himself together and gets up to his feet. Moore sees Sting and Cade going at it in the ring and he slides in. Moore surprises Sting from behind and clips him in the back of the leg. Cade and Moore double team Sting and then toss him out of the ring. The two leave the ring and take Sting and toss him over the rail. They follow and attack Sting, causing him to bump and stummble into fans. HBK at ringside begins to move while Cade and Moore continue to beat down on the Stinger. Cade and Moore are leading Sting towards the balcony area. Moore motions to Cade to make sure to head up there. Out of nowhere, HBK comes through the crowd and dives on the back of Cade. Cade falls to the ground after the impact and HBK stands up and chases after Moore. HBK stops half way and we see Moore run all the way up to the balcony. HBK turns and waits for Cade to get up to his feet and then hits him with Sweet Chin Music. Cade staggers back into the grasp of Sting and takes a Scorpion Death Drop. Sting makes the cover, with Moore on the balcony looking on in disbelief, 1......2......3!

    Winners: Shawn Michaels & Sting

    The Game?

    (O:86%)

Jamie Noble is walking around backstage with a wet blonde wig on. He is wearing a Triple H shirt and has a bottle of water in hand. Noble takes a huge sip of water and then spits it in the face of a nearby member of the backstage crew. The guys walks away angry, wiping the water off his face. Noble grabs the camera man and tells him to stay focused on him.

Noble: Triple H! Listen to me, boy! You may have gotten the match at No Way Out for my title, but I'll be damned if you're going to take it from me. You're always talking about being "that damn good" and people "playing the game". Well at No Way Out, it will be a permanent game over for you, boy!

Noble removes the wig from his head and tosses it right into the camera. We cut to the arena, where "The Game" by Motorhead plays. Triple H comes out to the stage, as it is time for his match against Ultimo Dragon. H goes through his extremely long entrance and then finally Dragon's music hits. Dragon comes bounces off and runs at H and tries to shoulder block him, but gets knocked down. Dragon looks up at H, who flexes and then reaches down and pulls him up. H shoots Dragon to the ropes and knocks him down with a knee to the gut. Jamie Noble walks out to the stage and then walks down the ramp slowly. The referee tells Noble to stay out of the ring and Noble replies by saying that he's just watching the match. Triple H comes over to the ropes and taunts Noble to come into the ring. While this is happening, Dragon gets his head straight and then strikes H from behind with thunderous kicks. H turns and takes a hard, stiff kick to the chin. H falls to the mat and holds his chin. Dragon kicks away on H while he's on the mat. Dragon covers, but only gets a two count. As H is trying to get up, Dragon hits a vicious, soccer player like kick to the back. H screams out in pain and then Dragon locks on the Dragon Sleeper. The referee checks on him, but H says to him that no he doesn't want to give up. The crowd begins to get beghind The Game and cheer him on as he is making his way closer to the ropes. The crowd cheers louder as H grabs the middle rope. Dragon releases the hold and strikes H down with punches, but H continues to get to his feet. The two then exchange blows and go back and forth for a few seconds. H finally gets the upper hand and knocks Dragon with a hard right shot. H shoots him to the ropes and nails him with a jumping knee to the face. The crowd goes wild as they know Triple H is getting ready to go for the kill. Noble runs around to the other side of the ring and then Nidia rushes out to ringside. Nidia tries to get in the ring, but the ref goes out and holds her off. During the confusion, Noble slides in from behind H and spinds him around. The Apocalypse Draws Near

    (O:95%)

As we return from break, we see Rey Mysterio coming out of the trainers office. Mysterio walks into the background and we cut to another camera in the backstage area. Mysterio comes walking around the corner and we see him about to open a door. James Mitchell comes out from the door and laughs at the sight of Mysterio.

Mitchell: Well if it isn't little Rey Mysterio. Nice to see you in the last day of your existance in your current state before the apocalypse!

Before Mysterio can even react to the comment, he gets blasted from behind by a man wearing all white. The man stomps away on Mysterio and then pulls him up off the ground. The man grabs Mysterio by the throat and then slams him against the concrete wall. Mysterio just collapses to the ground. The man in white grabs Mysterio and tries to lift him again, but Mitchell grabs his arm.

    Mitchell: Seven, enough! It's time!

The man in white turns his head and nods to Mitchell, allowing us to see that it's Kevin Fertig, but it appears he is now going by the name of Seven. Seven reaches down to the floor and tugs & jerks. He finally makes a last tug and raises his arm up, showing us that he has ripped off Rey Mysterio's mask. Seven lifts Mysterio up and tosses him over his shoulder. Mitchell leads Seven into the room he had just stepped out of. As the camera man tries to follow, the door is slammed shut to keep him out. We switch around to a shot of the announcers, Michael Cole and Josh Mathews. They hype up the upcoming six man main event. They bring up the fact that all men involved in the World title match at No Way Out are involved. Both teams make their entrances and the match gets under way.

[Seven +4 Overness; Rey Mysterio +2 Overness]

Chris Jericho, Matt Hardy, & Shane Douglas vs Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, & Edge

    (O:85%, C:87%, M:83%)

The match began as an all out brawl. After about two minutes of the brawl going on, the referee managed to gain control and sent the teams to their corners and the bell was finally rung. Jericho's team dominated most of the match, with them keeping Edge on their side of the ring. After a mistake from Matt, Edge dove to his corner and tagged out to Shelton. Shelton cleaned house and then went outside and chased Jericho. Austin tried getting and attack in, but Shelton blocked it. Shelton got back in the ring and went after Jericho, but took a hrad right shot to the face. Jericho tagged out to Matt and then Shelton fell back into his corner and tagged Haas in. Shelton ran at Jericho and clotheslined him over the top rope. Matt catches Haas coming in and tries to hit him with a quick Side Effect, but but Haas counters it by going behind and hits a release german suplex. Haas picks Matt up and goes for another suplex, but Matt counters with back elbows. Matt shoots Haas to the ropes and catches him with a hard kick coming back. Matt sets up for the Twist of Fate and turns his body. Before he can finish the move, Haas drops to his knees and grabs Matt's feet and pulls them. Matt falls face first to the mat and then quickly Haas pops up and locks him in the Haas of Pain. Matt can only stay in the hold for a few seconds and then taps out.

Winners: Shelton Benjamin, Charlie Haas, & Edge

Jericho manages to slide in after the tap out and nails Haas with an Enziguri. Matt rolls on the mat in pain, holding on to his leg. Jericho pulls him up and screams at him for losing the match. Matt tells Jericho that he doesn't know what happened. Jericho shoves Matt down to the mat and then pushes him out of the ring with his foot. Jericho has a fit in the ring, but it doesn't last long, as Shelton jumps into the ring and brawls with the champion. Douglas slides in and attacks Shelton from behind. Douglas and Jericho put the boots to Shelton, but out of nowhere, Douglas strikes Jericho as well. Jericho and Douglas trade blows, but then both take a double clothesline from Edge. The four men battle it out in the ring. As Haas is getting up, William Regal comes out from the back and slides in. He and Haas both start to fight as well. While the brawls are going on in the middle of the ring, we cut to a shot of the stage area. James Mitchell, Seven, and an unmasked Rey Mysterio come out and watch the brawls happening. Rey Mysterio has two horns on his forehead and by the look in his eyes, he appears to be in some kind of state of hypnosis. The three survey the ongoing brawl as the show comes to an end.

    News and Rumors

    By: Johnny Cage

We have heard from sources within WWE:TNA that the Dudley Boys are not in the best of terms with the company. A few months ago the Dudleys signed a contract, but from what we hear is that it wasn't a long term contract. Our source is telling us that the contract runs up at the end of this month, at which time WWE:TNA has no plans in offering an extension or a new contract. What is a known fact to everybody, is that D-Von and Bubba were suspended a day before the Royal Rumble for not only showing up late to a house show, but starting a legit fight with Tom Howard and Sylvester Terkay after their match had ended. This incident leads us to believe that the decision to not keep them around is somewhat based on that.

Staying close to the tag division, we have news of a possible huge boost to the division. With the probable departure of the Dudleys, WWE:TNA will look to fill the void of the experience that will be lacking once they are gone. As we saw on Smackdown, the Island Boyz, Jado & Gedo, and the Ballard Brothers were brought in to the company. We have gotten word that only Kimo and Ekmo have signed contracts with the company, while the other two teams were just having a tryout. We've also gottem word from other sources that WWE:TNA has either signed or put out offers to experienced tag teams and/or former partners of current superstars. The only people we know for sure that the company has made offers to are Onyx & Orlando Jordan, who have been a steady tag team for the last year in NWA Wildside. The team is expected to sign, but their current title win may keep them from doing so anytime soon. It wouldn't surprise us if they ditched the titles and simply flocked to the big time company.

An injury update for WWE:TNA is up next. A-Train, who suffered an injury on last week's Raw is said to be doing better now. At first it was thought that he had seriously injured his leg, but it turned out to be just a deep bruise to his quad. A-Train is expected to return in a week or two, but the shocker is that there is a set plan to move him over to Smackdown. Our sources say that there are plans for a possible feud with either Big Show or Goldberg (if he signs a written contract), but only time will tell.

Nicho the Millionaire, who injured his leg seven months ago, is set to make a return after this months pay-per-views. He is expected to return to Smackdown, as he is most likely set to return to the Cruiser-X division. Also expect him to return under his alias, Psicosis, which he used in ECW and CMLL.

Also, at a house show last Monday night, Kaz Hayashi broke his leg in a match against Low Ki. From a report a fan sent in, the injury happened when Hayashi slipped off the top rope and fell all the way down to the floor on the outside. As soon as he hit, a loud scream was heard and he began holding on to his leg. The referee and Low Ki both went out and check on him. The match was stopped and EMT's came out to check on him. Hayashi is expected to be out for 7 to 8 months. A tough break for him, as both his and Kendo Kashin's contracts are up, ending the WWE:TNA/All Japan deal and they must return to All Japan Pro-Wrestling.

    Dark Matches

    Konnan d. Christian York

    Danny Basham d. Matt Cross

    Josh Prohibition d. Jerrelle Clark

The show comes on the air with a video recapping the events from last week. The video is mostly dominated by the Batista surprise attack on Brock Lesnar, but we also see some footage of Howard and Terkay destroying superstars and Matt Morgan and RVD's involvement in the Angle, Kane, and Guerrero match. As the video comes to an end, we go directly to the arena, where Low Ki and Tajiri, now going by Sudden Impact, are walking down to the ring. The next team to come out to start off the tag team gauntlet for the gold is none other than the Yakuza Dragons, Kaz Hayashi and Kendo Kashin. We are reminded before the opening bell, that eliminations can happen by pinfall, submission, or over the top rope. We are also reminded that a new team will come out to the ring every minute, until all teams have come out. We also find out from Mike Tenay and Joey Styles that there may be more than six teams involved in the gauntlet.

Tag Team Gauntlet for the Gold

Low Ki & Tajiri vs Backseat Boys vs Howard & Terkay vs 3 Live Kru vs Hayashi & Kashin vs Los Maximos

    O:77% C:72% M:82%

Kaz begins by drawing Tajiri, who just atwo weeks ago aligned with the Yakuza Dragons, into his corner. Kendo and Kaz double team Tajiri until Low Ki gets in and attacks both men. All four begin to brawl and Kendo ends up being kicked over the top rope by Low Ki. Kenod lands on the apron, but it doesn't look too good for him. Low Ki prepares to kick him, but Kaz dropkicks him before he can leap. Kaz tries to follow up, but Tajiri kicks him in the back of the head. Low Ki gets up and catches an unexpecting Kendo with a kick to the side of the face. Tajir then picks Kaz up and tosses him over the top rope. The two look at the tron and see that because they are alone in the ring now, the timer has been moved up to only 5 seconds left......

    [Howard & Terkay Enter]

Low Ki and Tajiri prepare for the two men, as they remember the beating the two layed on them last week. Howard gets dropkicked before he can get into the ring, but Terkay manages to slide in. Terkay tries to take both men's heads off, but they duck and double team the big man. Howard comes in and charges at them, but ends up crashing into his partner. Low Ki runs to the ropes and then bounces back and nails Howard with the Tidal Crush. Terkay tries to grab Low Ki, but ends up taking the Kawada Kicks. Tajiri tries to toss Howard over the top rope, but can't manage to force him over. Low Ki locks Terkay into the Dragon Clutch, but Terkaygets to his feet. Low Ki holds on the the hold though, but Terkay backs up into the corner. As Terkay wraps his hands around the throat of Low Ki, the timer begins counting down again......

    [Los Maximos Enter]

Jose and Joel come in and jump Terkay from behind. Jose grabs on to a leg and then Joel grabs the other. Low Ki tries helping, but Terkay begins clubbing all three men over the head. Terkay grabs Joel and tosses him over the top rope. He goes after Jose, but Tajiri kicks his leg and causes him to go down to a knee. Howard comes over and clotheslines Tajiri in the back of the head. Low Ki tries locking on the Dragon Clutch on Terkay again, but instead gets flipped over the top rope by Terkay. Jose climbs up to the top rope and dives at Howard, but ends up in the clutches of the big man and gets slammed down with a spinebuster. Howard covers Jose and gets the three count. Terkay grabs Tajiri and presses him up into the air and then tosses him out onto Low Ki. As Tajiri hits the floor, the timer reaches zero and out comes the next tag team......

    [The Island Boyz Enter]

The live crowd is shocked, as they didn't expect Ekmo and Kimo in this match. The two big samoans slide into the ring and go toe to to with the most dominant team in WWE:TNA. The Island Boyz rock the two big men and get them close to elimination over the ropes, but it's a no go. Howard tries spinebusting Kimo, but can't lift him up. Ekmo splashes Terkay in the opposite corner and then hits him with a Samoan Drop. Kimo and Ekmo stand tall in the ring, as they have the former tag team champions down on the mat. The crowd is going wild, as it appears that there is a new dominant team on the scene. As Kimo and Ekmo go back on the attack, we see the timer reach zero again.....

    [backseat Boys Enter]

Acid and Kashmere rush into the ring and go after the huge Samoans, but are quickly taken care of. Kimo lifts Acid up over his head and prepares to toss him over the top rope. Howard comes over and clotheslines him from behind, causing him to drop Acid back and then stummble over the top rope. Ekmo on the opposite side of the ring is taking it to Kashmere, but Terkay gets to his feet and splashes him in the corner. This also affects Kashmere, as Ekmo is crushed onto him by Terkay. Howard & Terkay and the Backseat Boys gang up on Ekmo and give him a vicious four on one beating. The four lift Ekmo and drag him towards the ropes and we then see the timer come on the screen.....

    [ballard Brothers Enter]

The Ballards, Shane and Shannon get a mild reaction from the crowd. There are a few UPW chants started for them, but nothing major. The two slide in and go after the Backseat Boys. This leaves both Howard and Terkay on Ekmo. Shannon takes Acid and tosses him over the top rope, but he holds on to middle rope. Shane and Kashmere trade blows, with Shane gaining the upper hand. Howard motions to Terkay to continue the attack while he does something. Howard hits the ropes and then runs across the ring and charges into Shane and Kashmere. Howard takes both men towards the ropes because of the momentum and slams them into Shannon. The three men flip over and in the process take Acid along. Both teams get eliminated by Tom Howard. The crowd begins to go wild and Howard looks around at them, trying to figure out why they are cheering . We then see that Ekmo is back on his feet and is rocking Terkay with hard punches. Howard turns and sees this, so he charges over to attack Ekmo, but ends up taking a right hand. Terkay nails Ekmo in the gut with a knee, but before he can do anything else some pyro goes off at the entrance. Terkay and Howard turn their attention towards the stage and the next team comes out......

    [3 Live Kru Enter]

Konnan, BG James, and Ron Killings come out and walk down to the ring. James and Killings are the only two in their ring gear, so they must be the ones going into the match. The fans are going wild for 3 Live Kru. Terkay attacks James as he enters, while Howard misses an attempt at a clothesline on Killings. Killings catches Howard with a surprise left hook and then goes to hit him with a spin wheel kick, but Howard ducks. As Killings flies over Howard, he ends up kicking Terkay in the back and this causes him to flip over the top rope. Terkay looks up, shocked at the fact that he has ben eliminated. Howard sees this and now notices that he is now in the ring with Ekmo, James, and Killings. Killings goes after Howard, while James goes against Ekmo. The action rages on and we hear Lillian announce that the last team is making it's way in a few seconds. The timer comes on and runds down to zero.......

    [Gedo & Jado Enter]

Gedo and Jado slide in the ring and go on the attack on anybody that is standing. James, Ekmo, Howard, and Killings all get stuck by Jado and Gedo, but it has little to no impact on them and the four assault the team. In a matter of seconds, the four men eliminate Gedo and Jado. They then turn their attentions on each other and go back to work. Howard lifts Killings up by the throat and tosses him into the corner. As Howard is coming to squash him in the corner, Killings steps to his side and then elbows him in the back of the head. Howard. Nearly going over the ropes, Howard drops down to the mat and waits for Killings to do something. Killings stomps on the big mand and then lifts him up. As he is doing so, Howard springs up and lifts Killings onto his shoulder and sprints across the ring. Howard rams Killings into the back of James and then drops him down. Howard picks James up and drives him down with a huge chokeslam. As he is about to pick him up, Ekmo pulls Howard away and shoots him to the ropes. As he comes back, Ekmo lifts him up and slams him with a Samoan Drop. Ekmo gets to his feet and lifts James up and tosses him over the top rope. We are now down to the last three men, each one representing their team. Killings is the next one on Ekmo's sight and taks a few kicks to the back. Ekmo pulls him up and tries to lift him for a powerslam, but Killings slides off and lands behind him. Killings leaps up and hits Ekmo with a dropkick to the back, which sends the big Samoan to the ropes, but not over. Killings goes over and tries to Lift him up and over, but can't. Howard gets to his feet and sees this, so he goes over and shoves Killings aside. Howard lifts Ekmo over and eliminates him. Killings gets back up and quickly goes to attack the big man, but gets shoved away again. Howard goes to him and lifts him up, but takes an elbow to the gut. Killings backs up and kicks Howard in the gut, which he then follows with a scissors kick. The crowd pops after Killings hits the move. He gets up and does a quick dance and then pulls Howard up and towards the ropes. Killings places Howard on the top rope and tries flipping him over, but Howard is holding on. As this is going on, a person wearing an expensive looking suit and a motorcycle helmet jumps out of the crowd. He leaps up to the apron and pulls out a billy club out of his pocket. The man extends the club and then whacks Killings with it on the neck. Killings falls on Howard, knocked out. Howard then holds on to both the middle and top ropes and flips forward, bringing Killings with him and out to the outside. Howard lands on the apron and rolls in. With Killings on the floor, the referee calls for the bell and we have new tag team champions.

    Winners: Howard & Terkay

The guy in suit climbs down the stairs and then leaps over the security rail again and dashes through the crowd. Sylvester Terkay comes back to the ring and helps up his partner. The referee hands them their newly won tag titles. The two hold their titles up in the air and we hear the announcers saying that something's going on in the back.

    All Hell Breaks Loose

    O:84%

We cut to the back and we see Batista and Brock Lesnar being held apart by a bunch of the superstars, as well as officials and road agents. The two are screaming at each other and are trying to get free to go at each other.

Batista: You're nothing Brock! You always needed us to help you win your battles over on Raw!!

Brock: Well come over and prove it big man! Step up!!

At this very moment, General Manager Eric Bischoff walks into the scene. Bischoff doesn't look happy about what he sees and hears.

Bischoff: Listen you two, I have a lot going on and no time to deal with this kind of thing. So if you two want to get at each others throats, you can do so at Uncensored. Now if you guys could take both Mr. Lesnar to his car and make sure he leaves the arena, it would be much appreciated. As for you Batista, you are going to be in action later tonight. You will be teaming up with both Matt Morgan and Kane to take on the team of Eddie Guerrero, Kurt Angle, and John Cena. Now I know Kane won his match last week and earned the number one contendership to the Heavyweight title, but the special stipulation in the main event tonight is that if anybody from your team can pin the current champion, John Cena, they go into Unforgiven to face him for the title. Pinning Angle or Eddie will not earn that shot though, so you must pin the champion. Good luck.

Bischoff walks away as the officials and road agents release Batista. Batista still has an angry expression on his face, but it changes rapidly in an instant. Batista looks as if he is extremely pleased with what Bischoff had to say. We fade out to a commercial break as Batista walks into his locker room.

Capotelli is in the ring awaiting the French Phenom. Dupree walks into the ring and before Capotelli can even react, gets blasted by a high impact clothesline to the back. Dupree quickly removes his robe and tosses it on Capotelli. He begins to stomp away on the young Capotelli and then pulls him up. Dupree shoots him to the ropes and then nails him with a hard knee to the gut. Dupree looks up with a huge cocky grin on his face, which draws big time heat from the crowd. He goes to pick up Capotelli, but gets his arms swatted away and then takes a few fists to the face. Capotelli tries to shoot him to the ropes, but Dupree counters. Capotelli bounces off the ropes and Dupree goes for another knee, but Capotelli counters it into a roll up. The ref only manages to count to two before Dupree kicks out. Dupree pops up and drops Capotelli with a quick back elbow. Dupree picks Capotelli up and muscles him up onto his shoulders. With a rapid motion, Dupree slams Capotelli down with a Death Valley Driver. Dupree covers in a cocky manner, 1......2......3!

Raven kicks Dupree in the gut and goes for the Evenflow, but Dupree hits a quick punch to the ribs. Raven releases Dupree and he manages to slide out of the ring. Dupree laughs at Raven while he's backing up the ramp. Raven doesn't say a word to Dupree, just stares a hole in him. Raven turns and catches a dazed Capotelli with an Evenflow DDT, which draws a huge pop from the crowd. We fade out to the backstage area after Raven rolls out of the ring holding his ribs.

In the back we see Dawn Marie standing around, talking on her phone. After a few seconds of her talking, we see Stacy come running at Dawn and tackles her down. Stacy and Dawn slap and claw at each other, then begin to roll on the ground. Stacy manages to stay on top of Dawn and begins to continuously slap Dawn. Before Stacy can do some serious damage, Chris Harris comes running in and pulls Stacy off Dawn. Stacy screams at Harris for getting between them and then Dawn gets up. She tries to dive at Stacy, but Danny Basham comes over and pulls her away. As the two divas scream out to each other, Eric Bischoff comes into the scene and doesn't look happy.

Bischoff: Enough! Damn it! I've had it with all the in ring attacks and backstage fights! You two have a problem with each other, so settle it in the ring. And since you two seem to end up in the middle of things as of late, it will be you Chris Harris teaming with Stacy Keibler going up against Danny Basham and Dawn Marie in two weeks.

Bischoff walks off, looking extremely angry. Harris holds Stacy back, as Danny walks away with Dawn over his shoulder. We fade out to commercial break with a shot of Stacy shoving Harris' arms and walking off yelling at the top of her lungs.

We return from commercial break and both Mark Jindrak and Sonny Siaki are already in the ring waiting for the opening bell. Siaki turns and gives his sunglasses to the ring girl. Jindrak takes the open opportunity here and goes over and drops a hard double ax handle blow to Siaki's neck. Jindrak then kicks Siaki in the face and then kicks him again in the stomach. Jindrak goes for an elbow drop, but Siaki moves out of the way and gets up. Siaki runs at Jindrak and connects with a huge clothesline. Siaki picks Jindrak and delivers a big time suplex. Jindrak lands nexthard and Siaki clobbers him with a few repeated elbow drops on the chest area. Siaki then drops a big leg drop on Jindrak. As the ref goes down to count, Heyman tugs on the ref's leg, drawing him to the outside. Siaki gets up and calls out to the referee to return. Jindrak sees the opening and hits low blow shot on Siaki. Siaki hits the mat hard and Jindrak stands up and begins stomping him down. Jindrak bashes his fist over the head of Siaki. We see that Siaki is now bleeding from his forehead. Siaki tries to get to his feet but is drop kicked down by Jindrak. Jindrak taunts the crowd and then attempts to piledrive Siaki, but it's reversed. Siaki wipes the blood off from his face and drops an elbow on the spine of Jindrak. Siaki hooks Jindrak in a camel clutch like submission hold, but there is no referee to break the hold because Heyman is up on the apron. After holding the hold on for quite some time, Siaki lets go of the hold and goes to Heyman and tosses him inside the ring. Siaki picks up Heyman and hooks him for ddt and hits it to perfection. Siaki picks up Heyman and sends out of the ring and then turns around to Jindrak, who is getting back up to his feet. Siaki hits the ropes and looks for the flipping neckbreaker. As he flips, Jindrak rolls out of the way and Siaki lands hard. He gets up slowly but walks right into the hands of the awaiting Jindrak. Mark of Magnificence! Jindrak goes for the cover, 1.....2.....3!!

    Winner: Mark Jindrak

Mark Jindrak rolls out of the ring and both he and Paul Heyman walk up the ramp. The two are laughing at Sonny Siaki, who has just been bumped out of the Intercontinental title tournament. The camera follows them up the ramp and then they disappear through the curtain.

We cut to another camera shot in the back and we see Jindrak and Heyman walking down the backstage area. The two then are seen walking towards a door. Heyman opens it half way and peeks in, but blocks the view of the camera.

Heyman: Ok, it's all set! You know what to do, don't you?

A voice can be heard, but it isn't clear enough to make out who it is. Heyman closes the door and turns with a big evil smile.

Heyman: This is going to be a great night!

Heyman walks off into the background as the scene switches to a shot of The AmazingRed walking down the ramp. Red leaps into the ring and receives a good reaction from the crowd. The crowd goes silent as the lights go out for the entrance of Sean O'Haire. Once he comes out to the stage, the fans let him hear it. O'Haire doesn't bother with the fans and just slides into the ring.

    Scott Steiner vs Billy Kidman

    O:75% C:75% M:76%

As the preview video comes to an end, we see Steiner beating Kidman down on the ramp. We are shown footage from just seconds before where Kidman is coming out to the ring and Steiner attacks him from behind. We return to live footage and Steiner kicks Kidman down the ramp. Once at the bottom, at ringside, Steiner picks Kidman up and tosses him into the ring. Kidman is on the mat and looks to be out after the beating from Steiner. The ref on the outside, slides into the ring and tries to check up on him, but Steiner tries to kick him aside, so he dives out of the way. Steiner picks Kidman up and goes to belly to belly suplex him, but Kidman pokes him in the eyes. Kidman staggers back, into the ropes. Steiner comes over, trying to clothesline him, but Kidman ducks and Steiner flies out of the ring. Kidman takes this time to catch his breath and recover from the beating. Steiner tries to bring in a chair in the ring, but the ref takes it away and slides out with it. Steiner uses this to take a low blow kick on Kidman. Billy hits the mat in pain and the ref, who returns from the outside has no idea of what just happened. Steiner rolls Kidman over and locks on the Steiner Recliner. Kidman doesn't last long in the hold and taps out..

    Winner: Scott Steiner

Steiner releases Kidman and raises his arms up in the air. Before his music can even play, "I'm Back" hits and out comes Eric Bischoff. As he has been all night, he appears to be in a bad mood.

Bischoff: No, no, no! I will not have this happening, not in this tournament! Referee, Scott Steiner hit Billy Kidman with a low blow while your back was turned, thus Billy was in too much pain to even hold on in the Recliner. So I am making a decision here, and you will restart this match! And Scott, if you try something like that again, I will personally come out and disqualify you myself!

The crowd goes wild after what Bischoff had to say. Steiner quickly turns around and goes over to assault Kidman. By this time, Kidman has somewhat recovered, so he fights back. Kidman starts to get an advantage and rocks Steiner back. As Kidman goes to shoot Steiner to the ropes, Steiner knees him in the gut and then hits a t-bone suplex. Steiner goes to cover, but only gets a two count, as Kidman's foot had landed on the bottom rope. Steiner rolls Kidman over and drags him to the middle of the ring and goes for the Steiner Recliner. Kidman whips his head back as Steiner goes to lock his arms, so he hits him in the chest. Steiner tries to go back and lock his arms around Kidman's neck, but gets taken down by Kidman, who pulls on Steiner's legs. Kidman falls back on Steiner and holds onto Steiner's legs for dear life, 1.......2.......3!.

    Winner: Billy Kidman

Kidman gets of Steiner quickly and rolls out of the ring. He rumps up the ramp and celebrates at the top of the stage. Steiner in the ring has a fit and shoves the ref out of the ring. Steiner goes outside and shoves the time keeper and then chases Joey Styles out of the announcers area. We fade out to another commercial break with a shot of Kidman on the stage with his arms in the air.

We then cut to the back, where we see a split screen shot of both teams making their way down to the ring for the main event Cena and Eddie are the only two walking down for their team. The split screen goes to a direct shot of Cena and Eddie, as Dean Malenko comes over and lets them know that Kurt Angle has been found layed out in the parking lot. He then lets them know that he has been taken to the hospital, so they'r gonna have to go out without him.

Eddie staggers towards Morgan, who lifts him up and drives him down with a hard scoop slam. Morgan lifts Eddie and shoves him into his corner. Batista sees this from the outside and can't believe it. Before he can get in the ring, Brock Lesnar comes through the crowd and attacks him from behind. The two big men go at it back and forth. Batista tries to ram Brock's had into the ring post, but it's blocked. Brock instead slams Batista head first into the post. Batista falls back to a knee and appears to be busted open. Brock goes to grab him, but Batista picks up a chair laying at ringside and whacks Brock in the face with it. Brock falls back and then tries getting up to a knee. RVD leaps up to the top rope and the crowd noise alerts Morgan that something is happening. Morgan turns around and a shocked expression comes over his face. In the distance we see Paul Heyman coming out to the stage. Morgan plees to RVD to not jump and attack him. RVD looks around to see what the crowd wants. After a few seconds we see RVD leap off. WHAT THE HELL? Five Star Frog Splash on Eddie Guerrero! We get a shot of Heyman on the stage laughing as he walks down to the ring. Morgan gets a huge smile on his face and then helps RVD up to his feet. Heyman walks around the ring and picks up the Heavyweight title. He goes over to Kane, who is laying on the outside and holds it up in from of him, causing Kane to sit up. Heyman tosses the title into the ring and then climbs up into the ring. Kane follows and steps over the top rope. Jindrak by this time has also come down to the ring. Heyman shakes hands with Jindrak, Morgan, RVD, and finally Kane. Cena begins moving and quickly Kane grabs him and lifts him up. Kane passes his thumb across his throat and spikes Cena down with a tombstone. RVD then goes over to a corner and leaps up and flies off with another Five Star and hits it on Cena. The four men, who appear to be part of the Dangerous Alliance that Heyman was talking about two weeks ago, raise their arms in victory as the show comes to an end.

  16. Booker T Press Conference Announcement

    Houston, Texas

    February 3, 2004

"There have been numerous rumors going around about my status with LPW, WWE:TNA, and wrestling in general. There is some truth to mostly all the rumors that have been put out there. Yes I will be leaving LPW, due to multiple issues with management and Hulk Hogan himself. No, I won't be retiring anytime soon, but I will be taking some time off. Now as for the WWE:TNA rumor, it's a little complicated. When I was first released, it was a decision made by both Vince and myself. I asked to be released to freshen up my character outside of the company and he allowed me to do so. There has been an offer made for me to return, but I still haven't decided if I want to return at this time. I will weigh my options for a few days and then will make a final decision. At that time I will make it known to the entire wrestling media, just what I will be doing. Thank you all for coming."

    February 5, 2004

"Fans of The Juice rejoice! Early this morning Juventud Guerrera put his signature down on a WWE:TNA contract. The contract won't go into effect until the end of the month. Juventud still has a few appearances with LPW that keep him from making a debut with WWE:TNA at the moment. Don't be surprised if he shows up a few days or maybe even weeks early though, as his LPW deal expires after the next two appearances he makes. The Juice is working hard to get booked at the next two LPW shows in order to be go and ready. Check back often, as news will be posted as soon as I head from The Juice himself."

    News and Rumors

    By: Anthony Montana

We've just received word that WWE:TNA has released Vampiro, Dustin Rhodes, Steve Corino, Chris Monte, Brett Walters, Greg Schneider, and Francine. Also, Emad Yehia, Anthony Constable, Erin Bray, Lucy, & Desire have all been sent down to OVW until further notice.

With the news of those releases, LPW was quick to sign Vampiro. MLW snatched up Dustin, Corino, and Francine. Look for both companies to make official statements about the signings within the next few days.

In an update of a previous report, it looks like Booker T is about a signature away from returning to WWE:TNA. Last night at the LPW tv tapings, Booker T lost to Dwayne Johnson in a complete squash match. It was then announced that Booker T was now forced to leave LPW because of the loss. Most insiders are taking this as proof of the possible WWE:TNA return, but it could simply mean that Booker T will either be taking some time off or he will be announcing his retirement. We will continue to follow this story closely in order to give you the most up to date information.

    Championship Highlight Reel

    (O:80%)

The four stare down at HBK in the ring. Austin pulls out a mic and hands it over to Chris Jericho.

Y2J: Well if it isn't the "Has Been Kid"! You know, I almost didn't recognize you since you weren't on your back being pinned by Shannon. But unlike you, I was a winner last Sunday night when I became the WWE champion! Now, I see you're down in that ring and you look like you're in the mood for a fight. So I think it's time that we go down there and remove you from the ring, in order for the WWE champion to speak to his fans.

Jericho gets cut off by the music of the General Manager, Shane McMahon. Shane comes out to the stage and stands on the opposite side of the stage, keeping as much distance between himself and the four superstars.

Shane: Shawn, I think it'd be best for you to leave the ring right now. I know you want to fight, but your fight is with Moore and Cade, and they're long gone. Jericho did come to me for some time to speak about his title win and I wouldn't want you to get attacked by these for men. So what I propose to you Shawn is this, you leave the ring and head through the crowd. You find the nearest exit and you leave the arena and go home. Cool off for a week and then return next week prepared to fight. And I do mean be prepared for a fight, because next week it will be Shannon Moore and Lance Cade taking on Shawn Michaels and Sting! Oh, and by the way, it will be a San Antonio Street Fight!!

A smile comes to the face of Shawn Michaels, right before he leaps out of the ring and then jumps the security rail. As Michaels is making his way through the crowd, Austin and company head down the ramp and into the ring. Austin gets another mic, but before he can speak Shane cuts him off.

Shane: Austin, this time was granted so Jericho could make his first speech as WWE champion, not for you to go on a rant about nothing.

Austin: Who the hell do you think you are?

Shane: I'm the general manager of the WWE! And Austin, you need to watch what you do and say because I am not above suspending you! The same goes for any of your guys there. So keep your mouth shut or face my wrath Austin!

An angry Austin, tosses the mic out of the ring towards the stage. Before Austin can exit the ring and go after Shane, Conway and Blaze grab him and pull him back. Jericho steps to the ropes and speaks to Shane.

Y2J: You know Shane, tonight is suppose to be all about ME! I am the damn WWE champion, but you're out here taking up all my air time!

Shane: I'm sorry Jericho, I didn't know that this was Monday Night Jericho.

Y2J: Yeah, you're damn right it's Monday Night Jeri......

Shane: Spare me the agony of having to hear one more word come out of your mouth! The only reason you are even holding that title is because my father made it clear that no champion was being stripped of their titles. If it wasn't for that reason, I would have vacated the WWE title and you would not have gotten a chance to even get within five feet of it! So tonight in that very ring, you will be defending that very world title against a very deserving individual. This man came within inches of winning the Royal Rumble! He is none other than Shelton Benjamin!!

The fans go wild at the sound of the announcement, which is followed by the appearance of Shelton on stage. He comes out hyped up and looking ready for action, but Shane tells him to chill and stay on the stage. Jericho in the ring waves his finger in the air, while screaming out "no". Jericho, after a while of the fans getting to him through anti-Jericho chants, brings the mic up to speak.

Y2J: Sorry to burst your bubble Shelton, but no matter how big of a pop you get from these idiots, you are not getting a title shot. As a matter of fact, I don't have to wrestle a singles match if I don't want to until next week. You see, after I won at the Royal Rumble, Steve right here worked a clause into my contract that allows me to take one week off after any singles match since winning the title. Since I wrestled last week against John Cena, I am taking my week off now, so I don't have to do a damn thing until next week.

Shane: Clever, very clever Jericho...........oh yeah, there's one thing that I forgot to tell you. You see, I had noticed that clause but it's iron clad, so I can't do a thing about it. So this announcement was meant to test your bravery, and the outcome was just like I expected. The one thing that I can do here Jericho is get around the clause, because it clearly states that you can take a week off from any singles match of your choice. So with that said, here TONIGHT, it will be Chris Jericho and Rob Conway taking on Shelton Benjamin and a partner of his choice!

Jericho tosses his mic down to the mat and begins to kick the bottom ropes. Austin goes over and tries to calm him down. After a couple of seconds, it appears that Austin has indeed calmed him down because Jericho flashes a cocky smirk. Shelton removes his shirt and prepares to head down the ramp, but Shane stops him from doing so. As Shane McMahon and Steve Austin lock eyes and stare each other down, we cut to the first commercial break of the night.

    (O:75%, C:75%, M:76%)

We come back from the commercial break and see Ultimo Dragon making his entrance. Donovan Morgan, who is making his WWE:TNA debut, is already in the ring waiting for Dragon. As Dragon enters, the referee calls for the bell and we are under way. Dragon and Morgan walk around a bit before locking up. Dragon tries to put a headlock on Donovan, but it gets countered and Dragon goes flying across the ring thakns to a belly to belly overhead suplex. Dragon rolls out of the ring and complains to the referee about Morgan using "illegal" moves. The ref tells him to get in the ring or else he'll be counted out. Dragon turns to the stage area and signals for someone to come out. Morgan reaches out of the ring and pulls Dragon up into the ring. The camera cuts tot he entry way and we see Sakoda and Yang coming out. Before they can even make it to the ramp, Triple H comes out and bashes Sakoda in the back with the sledgehammer. Yang turns and takes a shot to the stomach. H drops the hammer and hits Yang with the pedigree. H walks down to the ring, drawing a hug ovation from the crowd. Dragon in the ring counters another belly to belly suplex by hitting Morgan with a few knees to the ribs. Morgan releases Dragon and then takes a few kicks to the legs. Dragon turns to run to the ropes, but see H standing on the outside. Dragon begins to tell the ref to do something about H, but the ref says that he is not doing anything by just standing outside. Out of nowhere, Morgan wraps his arms around Dragon's waist and nails him with a release German suplex. Morgan quickly covers Dragon and hooks both legs, 1......2......3!

    Winner: Donovan Morgan

Morgan stands up, but quickly leaves the ring, as Triple H slides in. Dragon slowly gets to his feet and adjusts his mask. As he looks up and sees Triple H standing before him, as wide eyed look comes to his face. Dragon begins to beg off, but Triple H swings with a right. The blow connects and it rocks Dragon back into the corner. Triple H comes over and drives a few knees to the stomach of Dragon. H then lays in with some more right hands. Some Bad Blood

    (O:80%)

We cut to the back and see Christian walking into the arena. Christian doesn't look to be in such a good mood while walking in. As he's walking, Christian keeps talking to himself.

Christian: I can't believe that I didn't win the Rumble match! I mean come on, I was the most likely to win it anyway! If it wasn't for AJ, I would be heading to Wrestlemania to face Jericho!

Christian continued to talk to himself all the way to the locker room. As he opens the door and enters, he runs into AJ Styles. The two are face to face and then Christian drops his bags.

    Styles: What's wrong Christian?

Christian: What's wrong? WHAT'S WRONG?! I'll tell you what's wrong, phenomenal one! Last Sunday night I was destined to win the Royal Rumble, but you snatched that away from me! You had to come from behind and eliminate me that way! Well that doesn't stand too good with me. So what I'm going to do AJ is go to Shane McMahon's office to get me a match! At No Way Out I want you, and I want the Wrestlemania shot to be on the line as well!

Christian storms into the locker room, bumping AJ away with his shoulder. Styles looks on with a confused look on his face. Styles then just shakes his head and leaves the locker room. We fade out to another commercial break.

    The Legend Killer Speaks

    (O:80%)

As we return from commercial break, Randy Orton is still in the ring and is still talking trash to the fans at ringside. Orton goes over and asks for a mic, which he does indeed receives. As Orton walks towards the middle of the ring, he decides to stomp on Mysterio a few times before speaking.

Orton: Once again I have proven that I am not just a self proclaimed, over hyped product created by the company. I've stayed true to my legend killer name by beating legends to within an inch of their lives. I've beaten The Rock, Triple H, Eddie Guerrero, and Chris Benoit just to name a few. Here tonight I have just added another to the list, by defeating little Rey here. Now I know that there are some so called "legends" on the Raw roster that I haven't defeated yet, but in due time they will all fall at the hands of Randy Orton. You see, I come from a great line of Orton's. At the present moment I am the only person in this business to have ever defeated so many legends, in such a short period of time. Now because of this, I will take the opportunity to make an open challenge at No Way Out to any legend who thinks they have what it takes to beat me, Randy Orton, the Legend Killer! So.......**STATIC**....like I said........**STATIC**......because there is no legend, alive or dead, that could ever beat me!

The lights go out as Orton stops talking. The crowd goes wild and they begin cheering as a gong sounds. A purple light shines down onto the ring, where we see Orton with a scared look on his face. Orton quickly brings the mic up to speak.

Orton: No, no, no wait, wait a damn minute! The open challenge was to any Raw legend! I said Raw legend! So this doesn't even include you Taker!

The purple light fades and the lights come back on. There's a sign of relief on the face of Orton as everything comes back to normal. Before Orton can say anything else, "Here Comes the Money" plays and Shane McMahon comes out. Shane walks down to the ring and gets in. Shane goes over and gets in Orton's face. Shane snatches the mic away from Orton and speaks.

Shane: Randy, you are in no position to be making any open challenges on my show!

Orton begins screaming at Shane, asking for more of an explanation. Orton goes over to the ropes and asks for another mic.

Shane: You want to know why you're not in position to make any challenges or book our own matches?

Orton: Yeah, I think I deserve that much!

Shane: Like I told Austin, I'm telling you, I'M THE GENERAL MANAGER!! And so you get that through your self loving, self promoting head, at No Way Out it will be the Legend Killer Challenge. In one corner will be the self proclaimed legend killer, Randy Orton. In the other will be his opponent, the legendary Undertaker!

Orton turns and kicks the bottom rope, but then suddently turns and nails Shane with the RKO. Orton looks extremely pissed off while standing over the fallen general manager.

Orton: Ok, at No Way Out I will finally put The Undertaker out to rest in peace forever. But here tonight I add yet another name to my list, as I have just struck a McMahon down!
