Unique isn't really a compliment. John Stevens had a unique sound and style too but that doesn't mean he was good. Fantasia had many nights where I'd listen to her and just be completely underwhelmed. And being average is FAR better than being hit-or-miss like I felt Fantasia was.
I guess it just comes down to a difference in taste. I though Fantasia was consistently exciting and moving. I'd love to be able to hear her versions of some of the songs she sang.

I guess the name is "Hold your head up" or something. I used to hear it on "classic" rock stations all the time. My dad and I both despised that song.
You hate that song? Awww...
Speaking of classic rock songs about heads, I utterly abhor the song "All Good People Turn Their Heads Each Day" or whatever it's called, by Yes. I hate, hate, hate that song, even more than anything Bon Jovi's done.

Fantasia was more charismatic than most of the competitors, if not all, but Jennifer and LaToya were both FAR better singers.
I thought Jennifer was horrendously overrated. Sure, she had a few good weeks before she was kicked off, but before that she was completely average. LaToya was a very good singer, but she was sort of run of the mill, in a way. Fantasia had a far more unique voice and style.

Fantasia won. Fantasia deserved to win. Fantasia was the best singer and the most charismatic. There was no way it could've ended any better than it did.

Lansdale is a genius. Anything with his name attached to it ought to be good.

I truly hope you aren't talking about Disco Duck. Otherwise, them's fightin' words.

The only ones I've heard about that interest me are The Day After Tomorrow, Alien versus Predator, and The Village.

The Big Lebowski- 10/10
My personal favorite film of all time.

I liked the booking, and the matches were well presented. However, I thought that too many of the matches were squashes. Maybe you could've booked RVD against Chavo. Also, the Jindrak-Cena feud looks interesting, but I don't know what sort of match quality you'll get from it.

As much of a mark-out moment as the ending to Freddy versus Jason was (the whole "wink" part), and as awesome as the ending to the original Nightmare was, my favorite would have to be the ending to Arlington Road.

It was hardly crud. Season One has zero bad episodes. Season Two has Zero bad episodes. Season Three has one bad episode (That's Lobstertainment) and Season Four has one bad episode (The Sting).
You won't find a better good to bad ratio in any other show.
Man, I loved The Sting. It's quite possibly my favorite episode. I thought it was really meaningful, and the ending was perfect. I loved That's Lobstertainment, too. Man, I miss that show.

"Ain't nothin' a wino's scared of, except runnin' out of wine. A wino wouldn't be scared of Dracula. Transylvania? Yeah, I know where it is! You ain' t the smartest motherfucker in the world... even though you is the ugliest."

Rushmore- 8/10
A well-written script + good acting = an enjoyable watching experience.
Two things-
Sara Tanaka is very, very hot
The coach at Rushmore is actually the THIRD Wilson brother, Andrew.

Probably Robin Williams

Sweet. I'm really glad that this diary is continuing, and you can be sure I'll be reading it.

Wow, those are just awful. And I'm less concerned with the name of Jason Lee's child than I am with whether Banky has to pay an additional $378,000 for the kid to achieve Scientological enlightenment.

There ya go. Guy deserves it, plain and simple.

"Brown Sugar" is not about heroin.

I want a new duck
One that won't try to bite
One that won't chew a hole in my socks
One that won't quack all night
I want a new duck
One with big webbed feet
One that knows how to wash my car
And keep his room real neat
One that won't raid the ice box
One that'll stay in shape
One that's never gonna try to migrate or escape
Or I'll tie him up with duck tape
I want a new duck
A mallard I think
One that won't make a mess of my house
Or build a nest in the bathroom sink
I want a new duck
One that won't steal my beer
One that won't stick his bill in my mail
One that knows the duck stops here
One that won't drive me crazy waddling all around
One who'll teach me how to swim and help me not to drown
And show me how to get down
How to get down baby
Get it?

I want a new duck
Not a swan or a goose
Just a drake I can dress real cute
Think I'm gonna name him Bruce
I want a new duck
Not a quail or an owl
One that won't molt to much
One that won't smell too fowl
One that won't beg for breadcrumbs
Hangin' around all day
He'd better mind his manners
Better do just what I say
Or he's gonna be duck patte, duck patte, yah, yah

Kill Bill Vol. 2- (9.25/10)
I saw it again, and I have to boost it up a bit. The acting is superb, and when the dialogue is good (99% of the time), it's incredible (Carradine's Superman speech, for instance). I want to see this nominated for Best Picture, Actress, Actor, Screenplay, Director and maybe even Supporting Actor for Madsen.

That was a terrific episode. They eat the mystery pack.
