After getting the shit kicked out of us in the real-life FA Cup by them, I was pleased to see Everton in the relegation zone when I got bored of Arsenal in my first season. So I took over them with ten games to go, but couldn't save them (to be fair, our last five games were against the top-five teams, and we needed to win them all to stay up, and we still would've gone down if Palace had even drawn a game. They won four from five.)

Formation is 3-5-2, with the right and left hand CB's being DRLC's so that they can run out wide if neccessary.

GK: Richard Wright (Nigel Martyn/Sean Lake)

DC®: Sebastian Svard (Tony Hibbert, so I'm really hoping Svard doesn't get injured )

DC(L): Alessandro Pistone (Nobody, so I'm hoping he doesn't realise which league he's in...)

So far I've signed: Martin Bergvold, Danilo Arrieta (who's been out on loan a lot because he's not as good as my scouts said he was), Richie Partridge (to massive heat from the Goodison Park faithful ), David Friio, Patrick Berger on a free, and Sebastian Svard from Arsenal on loan for the season.

I had to let Kevin Cambpell go because of rediculous wages (that firing alone put us back under our wage budget. How dare he get paid £75k a week ), Gravesen's contract ran out and he wouldn't sign a new one, Osman got fired for knocking my beloved Argyle out of the real-life FA Cup (is that a fair way to play FM? McFadden and Chadwick would've gone too, but they were actually good players. Unlike Leon), I sold Joseph Yobo because I needed the money, and he was pissed off because he kept letting goals in and now he had to play in the Championship.

David Weir and Duncan Ferguson retired, and Martyn is doing so at the end of the season.

So yeah, lets try and play pingpong and go right back up...

I'm still playing wit restrictions and not ruining the game. It's actually fairly hard. But buying the best is too easy.
