  1. Just as a kick off before I have a look at it... Have you made any MAJOR changes to the DB or

have you pretty much just adjusted according to suggestions in the Update thread and other info available around the place?

But either way.. It is a lot of effort and whether or not is great DB I'll commend you on the work put into it.

If anyone is interest I could make a split DATA with this, Just let me know...

I would very much enjoy a split data if that is not too much trouble Rocky.

  2. Sadly, we have a conclusion in the Trent Acid debate. Remove him. He is deceased

I am extremely sorry to report that Michael "Trent Acid" Verdi was found dead this morning by his mother. He was 29 years old. Under his Trent Acid ring name, Verdi was one of the can't miss prospects of the Philadelphia independent scene during the early part of the decade, first as one half of the Backseat Boyz with long-time friend and partner Johnny Kashmere and then later as a singles competitor.

Acid held just about every title there was in Combat Zone Wrestling, which was really his home promotion in many respects and later on main evented for Ring of Honor in a great feud against Homicide.

In watching him at that point, there was no doubt he was going to go on to make a lot of money for a larger promotion, but personal problems bogged him down and he never seemed to overcome them.

The early belief is that Verdi's death was drug-related, but nothing official has been ruled at this time.

I'll be writing alot more about Verdi in the days to come, but I just don't have the heart to look back on his career right now. He was someone who, deep down, had a great heart for the business and his friends - all of whom, myself included - were pushing for him to get back to being the performer he used to be and to find some happiness in his life. It really, truly breaks my heart that it's never going to happen.

I am sure a lot of people are going to write about his drug issues and arrests in recent years, but I'd prefer to remember the Trent Acid who made so many independent shows fun with his antics and in-ring work, the "How is Gee" chants that no one but the old NYC bus trip crew got, the incredible series against Teddy Hart, and a time period where Trent Acid was poised to take on the world. That's the Michael Verdi I want to remember.

Like I wrote, I'll have more on this in the days to come, but right now, I just don't have the heart to write anything more.

  3. Miz is the new US Champion and for any still speculating Bryan Danielson is done with WWE for the time being

Id still leave it for now..... Wade Barett did say Daniel Bryan in his promo... When was the last time they mentioned a released superstar in a promo? Not Jeff Hardy his contract expired. Hell the other week on superstars during Primo match they wouldnt mention Carlito.

Hardy was mentioned for the next few weeks by CM Punk and Carlito has been forgotten for weeks now.

Exactly, however it could be weeks, maybe months before he comes back on TV.

Yeah and Bryan would be under a 90-day clause until September so if you play the game, he'd get signed by a TNA, RoH, et all rather quickly in an unrealistic way (due to the nature of the game.) I'd keep him under a deal with no show personally because he cannot do any shows for the next 90-days.

I get where shizzle is coming from.... He said NOT Jeff Hardy because Jeff Hardy had his contract expire and the WWE were under the impression he'd be back for mania.... But released talent i.e Carlito do not get mentions on WWE programming, Wade Barrett made a point of saying that you would NEVER see Daniel Bryan again. Until Bryan Danielson works, not is supposedly booked by but actually works an indy show dont put it past Vince to get the internet buzzing, we all know it wouldnt be the ifrst time he's done it.

Carlito barely got mentioned when he was working for the WWE.

Kurt Angle got mentioned after his release. Hell, they announced it TV and told people to go to WWE.com to see info on it.

  4. MAJOR! RAW SPOILERS:

create a new stable called NXT with Daniel Bryan, Wade Barrett, Darren Young, Justin Gabriel, David Otunga, Heath Slater, Skipp Sheffield & Michael Tarver. All are heels and if they are young enough to be Angry Young Men, make that their gimmicks and if not make it Man on a Mission. All but Bryan and Barrett should be in the 60's for overness. Bryan and Barrett should be 69 if not in the 70's.

I don't know about if they should be heels or not. They didn't just attack Cena, they attacked everybody. I think tweeners would work better. It probably would be best to wait and see. I do agree about the Man on a Mission gimmick though
