  1. What was the start date of the original data? I want to know how far it is from when I'm aiming my game (2005/6 ish, around the start of iMPACT)

Secondly, of 2005 and 2006, which would be a better one for the start of a "modern-era" TNA game (i.e all the stuff since the start of iMPACT, or possibly from just before)

  2. I'm looking for a decent early-ish TNA game. I want it to be when the X-Division was a big focus... Probably 2005/2006 when they started with iMPACT ish... Although I'm sure others will have a better idea of when is good.

I was going to do my own research after posting this, but Eddie's inventory seems down (or I have a dodgy saved favourite)...

Any help would be nice (want something to do between WAW plays)

  3. - Chelsea should be made manager to Brutus Magnus, she has accompanied him to the ring during dark matches and his return this week on Xplosion.

On a side-note make the other half of London Brawling, Desmond Wolfe a non-worker for the time being. There is some sort of issue with him that is keeping him out of the ring. PWInsider.com has talked about some issue regarding Wolfe but TNA wont disclose the exact nature of it so just make him a non-worker.

The worlds most *cough*reliable*cough* source, wikipedia has it listed as medical related (or at least did have when I last looked at it a couple of days ago)

EDIT - This is the related part of the article

[London Brawling] were at the last minute pulled from the event, with TNA citing a "personal issue" as the reason. It was later reported that Wolfe was pulled from the event due to an undisclosed medical situation that would sideline him for the next few months
  4. Not sure how you work these but a discussion about some wrestlers not being on shows for a while lead to "ukp" (one half of the UK Pitbulls is all I can make out) posting the following about Sam Slam:

When i last saw Sam he said he was concentrating on his business and training for strongman.

It appears that Sam Slam is taking time out of wrestling to focus on other things... However a return has not been ruled out.

  5. An update (although not an entirely helpful one):

Due to my course, other spare time committments (most notably comedy) and general busy-ness I've not made much progress. The Who has helpfully provided stats for a part of the FWA roster, and some big British names (like Wolfe, Williams, Regal etc). However, beyond this I have not gotten anyone else. Some time has been spent looking around for videos of workers etc to allow me the chance to attempt to start statting people. This is proving difficult as not many British promotions have videos of enough of the roster to make it plausable to check two or three matches of the same person.

I am willing to continue to lead the project, but it is likely to be very slow if I do*. I'd appreciate as much help as people can provide as it will vastly increase the process. All names that contribute will be placed into a Guide/Credits text file within the download (to give credit where it is due).

    * - Pretty much saying that if someone else wants to do it they can, but I'm happy to continue :)

  6. Having some spare time available, I'd like some games to play on my netbook.

I already have EWR, and Wrestling Mpire 2008 (Career and Management). I am looking for other games that could work, preferrably with links to info/download. Would like at least one other decent wresting game and a couple of others too :)

Thanks for any help people can provide.

  7. Because of that I’m looking to add a few people who I can actually get some sources on especially in regards to the UK scene.

Also on top of this I’ve cleaned up the rosters for all UK promotions since I know they havent been updated in ages.

Who doing what I said I'd help with until I couldn't run TEW anymore due to netbook :(

If you need info on guys then I can get you some :)

  8. I'd start off with the main guys first and use them as the basis and work from them, also I assume your going to do the stats in regard to best in the world (which is what the main data tends to be) so if you can get an in game best (for example Williams top techinal, Pac top high flyer, Stone top brawler) then use them as the measuring stick for others.

Good thinking. Might have taken on too much as I've never done stats... Don't want to back out as I want this to be completed :)

  9. just curious if Lucha Va Voom is no longer an active promotion in the game? If it isn't, make it active, because Joey Ryan just posted on his facebook he's working a Lucha Va Voom show this month.

Lucha VaVoom was removed due to their lack of regular activity.

    Edit

Would anyone be aposed to removing some of the unnamed tag teams which are inactive with no experience, by that I mean removing teams which are names after their last names such as Batista and Cena, my reasoning behnid this is simple, firstly their inactive, secondly if they dont have any experience then if their removed its not much lost if someone eants to make them team again since they would still start from nothing. Teams which are inactive with no experience that are named (as in not just two surnames/gimmicks) will be kept.

Firstly, I think it's opposed not aposed.

Secondly, I see this as a good way to shrink the data size back a bit for those wanting to play it. Despite me not being able to play TEW any more I still check this forum and there are the odd minor size complaints now and again :)

Thirdly (mainly for Who), anything I come up with during my EWR British DB that is of note I'll pass on. Keeping the UK scene up to date for you is something I said I'd do but now can't due to my lack of knowledge of what is in your database. Will help when I can though :)
