Getting rid of Yaya is a bit different to getting rid of Rooney, and he was heavily criticised for doing it to Schweinsteiger. Guardiola is doing the right thing though.

Wonder whether the Liverpool fans that I saw on twitter saying Shaw dived last week will think that was a dive. Exact same foul. 

Blackett only got an opportunity in the first team because he was left footed. Keane (sold by LVG) and Thorpe (Captain of the U21s sold by LVG) were both miles ahead of him. He couldn't even get on the Celtic bench. Everyone sold so far i.e. Love, McNair, Blackett, Fletcher aren't good enough to break into the first team and those that might eventually be are on loan to actually play.  

Don't really care about how much it costs or whether we can bring the money back in, just pleased to have him.

Mourinho truly revolutionised the game bringing the loan system in.  The journalist that reported these players were leaving has already backtracked on Fosu-Mensah anyway saying his future at the club is secure, so he's obviously took all the players that aren't in the 23 man squad for the trip to Sweden and assumed that they're all leaving. .

Based on this season scoring 1 in the first half at Old Trafford is as likely as scoring 18 in the 2nd half so game on.

Pathetic. If we were going to sell him why didn't we just do it at the start and buy Lloris? Now we just have another player that doesn't really want to be here.

I didn't say it wasn't a panic buy, btw. It's looking like James Wilson might be off on loan as well, which if true would mean we only have about 20 first team players. It's gone from maybe being title contenders if we play to our best to an utter shambles
