  1. I just changed my webhosting plan and had to change the DNS pointing to all my domains.

EWInventory since it is currently hosted with this plan had to be changed.

DNS propagation could take 24-48 hours.

In the meantime, the website is available at: http://eland.arvixe.com/~magikstm/gnetwork/

Sorry for the inconvenience. Stability should be increased in the future.

It is already available for me at http://gnetwork.reallyhotstuff.net/ so it should slowly be for you too.

  2. Just a small notification that I've changed webhost for reallyhotstuff.net yesterday and the website is still getting moved and configured as we speak.

I changed host from a linux host to a windows host for the same price, so some settings have to be done and I lost some features.

I expect everything to get back online before monday, but it'll depend on my availability.

EddiG has been notified and some minor changes will have to be made (my bandwidth limit is lower and files above 100MB aren't tolerated). I didn't think the transfer would be done so fast and I didn't want to pay for a complete transfer nor was it feasible considering that some files will have to be more closely monitored to be sure it stays within the plan.

the downtime is entirely my fault and not his. I'm sorry.

  3. Okay, temporarily back at EddieFnG.com

Don't know how long this host will survive the bandwidth slaughter, so still on the lookout for a better server.

I could provide you some space on my new hosting website. I have a website project in mind, will use it for some personal backups and will use their subversion feature too. It is really not used much now and I want to see EWInventory available.

    I could provide you:

    - A dedicated FTP account directly to your subfolder (* or own domain if you have a .com or .net)

    - Unlimited space and bandwidth (* if it is kept reasonable)

I would accept all the scenarios and maybe picture packs, but I would have to monitor the bandwidth on those as my hosting company says I have unmetered bandwidth, but I know it could be a problem and get me suspended if it is really too much.

The website is http://reallyhotstuff.net, so your subfolder could be http://ewinventory.reallyhotstuff.net . I got it hosted for 3 years, so it could be available at least for that time.

I would like getting your bandwidth stats of the last year if you have them to review them.

The only thing I won't be able to provide is help managing the website as I'm working on other side projects (the website and 2-3 VB.net projects), but I believe you want to keep maintaining it on your own. :)

Contact me in the forum, by email at stmweb(at)hotmail.com or on skype (same email).

(* My host is A2Hosting and I got the Executive plan, info is available at http://www.a2hosting.com/services/web-hosting/ if you want it.)

  4. I'll try to help with stats for workers in NCW FF.

I bought all their dvds and went to one show live.

Foreign Star (her gimmick is that she's from France)

    Caroline Reno (Staff)

She's the in-ring announcer and she's pretty average and gets by through her good looks. I would rate her as average compared to others in the same category. probably around 45-55?

The entire roster will maybe need a review in the next update to get in line. I compared them to Kacey Diamond, Kalamity, Mary Lollypop and Cherry Bomb which are already in the database and kept them reasonable.

The overness of all the girls will probably need a bit of levelling to get them at their proper card position.

Sorry for not contributing earlier, I just read your request today.

Also, if you wish to replace IWS with another canadian fed which is pretty active, I recommend adding NCW. their website is ncw.qc.ca . They are pretty active and some of their workers are already in the game.

  5. As seen in: C:\Program Files\GDS\TEW2005\Help\stat_pact.html (or in this help file coming with TEW05)

    Relationship Type

There are four relationships. "Parent Company" means that one promotion has a child relationship to another. This does not mean they are owned by the larger company, it means that they agree to be sent workers to be trained. In the editor, the promotion on the left hand side is always the parent.

What I'll be doing in the 2009 data is set the FCW contracted roster to Exclusive P.P.A. Contracts. This way, they can be sent down to development, they are owned by the parent fed (WWE) and can be offered a written contract if they get recalled. Also, they don't cost too much to get sacked if the player wishes to do so (a bit like a developmental contract I guess?).

The only problem is that the player will have to select what he does with these workers at the start of the game as they will appear in the WWE roster at the start of the game.

I'm just telling my idea, I didn't find the space to make it like TEW08 too and it seems weird seeing them get released by the developmental fed playing as WWE without having them really in the roster.

    * T-Zone and FORC went with your idea though.

  6. Thanks a lot. :)

I'm happy to see I missed most of these wrestlers and that they're in.

I'm sorry for requesting again, but if Vince died in 1999 and Stephanie is there I'm disappointed that Shane McMahon isn't there even as having left the business.

I'll really be following news on your most recent version of the scenario as I really like it. This one is also awesome and I will probably play a game with it sometime in the future.

  7. It really is an interesting scenario and I will surely give it a go soon.

    Some things I noticed:

retired workers don't always have their physical attributes set well even if they supposedly retired due to injuries:

Megumi Kudo, Momoe Nakanishi, Bret Hart (unsure?), Steve Borden (unsure?), Terry Funk (unsure?)...

Things I want to comment on:

    - Why isn't Shane McMahon in the dataset? I mean.. Vince McMahon died.. ok. But Shane? I don't really understand and would like to see him somewhere as a wrestler, manager and possible owner. I don't know.. Trying to pursue where his father failed?

    - Where's Kelly Kelly?

    - No goldberg? couldn't he be in as a low-level wrestler that never made it big and moves from small feds to small feds without ever becoming big and with his bad attitude. Something like an Ultimate Warrior that never made it big.

    - In fact.. Where's the Ultimate Warrior?

    - Owen Hart relationships aren't set.

If you plan on adding workers here is a list I would really like seeing (maybe I didn't find them?):

    Kacey Diamond

    Kana

    Markos Estrada

Crystal Louthan (she was hilarious in TNA)

    Yumi Fukawa

    John Morrison (is he in?)

    Primo Colon

Chuck Norris (as a wrestler or a retired one at least? that would be pure gold lol)

    The Great Khali

    Portia Perez

    Lacey Von Erich

Montel Vontavious Porter (is he in?)

    John Cena (is he in?)

    Taylor Wilde

    Pierre Carl Ouellette

    Starlight Amy

    Hiroka

What are your plans with this version? Do you still do update for it or plan on really bringing the 2009 version of your scenario to TEW05? Will the 2009 version get updated too?

  8. 3 ideas:

an old-school Survivor Series Dream Match set in 1997:

    The Kliq

    Triple H

    Shawn Michaels

    Scott Hall

    Sean Waltman

    Kevin Nash

    vs

    Hart Foundation

    Bret Hart

    Owen Hart

    Jim Neidhart

    British Bulldog

    Brian Pillman

A 6-way woman table ladder and chair match where they have to get the title with a ladder for a supershow held by an indy promotion.

limit of 3 from WWE and 1 from TNA.

A special Survivor Series 2001 match for the Winner Take All Survivor Series match you select 10 members from WWF to go against 10 from WCW/ECW to do a huge survivor series match.

Team WWF has to include: The Rock, Chris Jericho, The Undertaker, Kane and The Big Show

Team WCW/ECW has to include: Booker T, Rob Van Dam, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Sting and Shane McMahon

The other choices are yours. Wrestlers who didn't join WWF at that time can also be selected (Scott Steiner, Sting, Hollywood Hulk Hogan, Randy Savage, Kevin Nash...)

Interviews and promos leading to the match can be written too if you decide to.

I'm unsure they really fit what you wanted, but I would really be interested in reading any of them and I believe writing any of them would be fun, challenging and leave you room for creativity.

  9. Nice doing a backstory of the events that preceded, it helped me freshen my memory up. I was quite young at this time.

I really like the layout and the first show was really enjoyable.

I was surprised at Bret Hart announcing he won't participate in the Royal Rumble, but eh.. Something will surely be made out of this.

    I'll keep reading.

  10. December To Dismember was really nice.

it included at least two matches that would have been must-see for me if I could watch it for real:

Randy Orton vs Terry Funk as I really didn't expect this kind of a match-up and the finish was totally unexpected.

Sabu and Sandman vs The F.B.I. for the return of the Dudley Boys which was quite entertaining.

I didn't want to release Kevin Thorn either, but he's out for 15 months. That's a long time, and I'm not paying him for nothing.
  11. i really liked the last few shows.

    Hot:

    - The last ECW with Sandman and Sabu getting the ECW Tag titles was really something. The plot continued in the show and I really got into this one. To me, it was one of the big highlights why I liked this show more than the others.

    - Rocky Siaki is really climbing my favorite wrestler of your diary list.

    - The feud with Kennedy and The Undertaker is still going well.

    - The return of Jericho wasn't advertised before Smackdown and lost a bit of it's magic because of this, but was still a key moment.

    Cold:

    - I didn't get into the reformation of the Four Horsemen at the beginning and it haven't got that sparking thing yet.

    - King Booker lost a lot of momentum when he lost his title and seems to be almost moving to "other" things. I like him in real and got into it in your diary and I would like seeing him still battling in the top.

    - Kevin Thorn released? hmm.. Some have to go, but he wouldn't have been one of my first choice. I like him and Ariel when watching ECW on TV. I know air time is limited, and budget (getting limited?) could be a reason.

Talking about budget.. I know it would be an insider.... But is it Something you're having to watch closely at the moment or it's ok? Other releases to be expected or the situation is stable?

Shows are still solid and I'm really enjoying reading when I visit. Thanks.

While I'm at it... quick predictions.. :)

    DECEMBER to DISMEMBER PREDICTIONS

    Rodney Mack Open's Challange

    Rodney Mack vs (White Boy)

Not knowing the 'white boy' I'll go with Mack.

    Extreme Rules Match

    Hardcore Holly vs Balls Mahoney

Holly is stronger in wrestling and Mahoney in promos, but the match has been hyped only averagely and Holly gets my vote.

    Extreme Rules Match

'The Rock' Rocky Siaki vs Tommy Dreamer

If you smell what The Rock is cookin'.

    Single Match

    CM Punk vs Rey Mysterio

    I'll vote for experience.

Hardcore Match - (RAW vs ECW)

    Randy Orton vs Terry Funk

Tag Team Match - ECW Tag Team Championship Match

Sabu and The Sandman © vs Little Guido and Tony Mamaluke

Good matches, promos and plots. That needs to continue.

    Single Match

    Brock Lesnar vs Test

Extreme Rules Match - ECW Championship Match

Big Show vs Rob Van Dam ©

Big Show seemed more dominant (even more with the title), but Rob Van dam deserves at least another month.

  12. resigning Muhammad Hassan is a good move. I didn't like him at first because of his gimmick, but after seeing him more and more on TV I started to like him.

Umaga against Cena is a really big match and I can't wait to see the outcome of it. It will surely be a close fight as Umaga is a serious contender.

Rocky Siaki is a really good character and I'm really starting to get behind him.

Also, the Survivor Series card is shaping up nicely so far and have several interesting matchups.

  13. Feedback on the last Smackdown:

    - Almost knowing Chris Sabin only by name, I was starting to think he started to climb the ladder a bit too fast for me. To me his lose to William Regal was the move to do.

    - Ken Kennedy vs Kane was really a nice match and I really got into it. Easily the match of the night.

    - Chris Benoit vs King Booker in a lumberjack match? ok. But there's no real interference of the lumberjacks in the match (at least in the writing) and it didn't feel like a lumberjack match. Benoit getting the fun shocked me and is a big move. A good match that looked more like a single one and thus lessened the hype of the title change in a 'special' match.

    - To tell you the truth, I'm stll cold on the 4 horsemen and this match for Survivor Series should be 'the' buildup for them. To me, the reason for their teaming is not really known and they are getting wins that I'm so-so with. Like Sabin they are climbing and I don't buy them yet. (for now, to me it's: k.. we're the 4 horsemen and we're there to get the titles.)

Don't get me wrong, Smackdown was really good overall, like Raw and ECW have been. It's really only the 4 Horsemen and one member in particular that seem to be wanting to get my attention, but that I don't want to give just yet. ;)

    I'll keep reading.

  14. my feedback on this event:

1- Ken Kennedy vs. Chris Benoit©

Good all around. I would change one thing thought.. I would remove the part close to the end: Benoit def. Ken Kennedy: as it spoiled the ending and I didn't like it.

    2- Funaki vs. Gregory Helms©

A good close match, not much else to say.

3- Carlito vs. Randy Orton vs. Johnny Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy©

Longer and needed to be. The 3 RKOs by Orton were funny and it's one of the matches I liked the most.

    4- Umaga vs. Charlie Haas

Like I said, I'm not a really a big fan of either, but it was an ok match.

    5- Videos

Useful, as it helped remember the storylines.

6- Big Show, Test, Mike Knox, Chris Masters, and Edge vs. Kane, Ahmed Johnson, Mark Henry, Sir Finlay, and Matt Hardy

Could have been longer and written differently as "Kane elim. Big Show After:" spoiled the rest. I would have liked seeing the last 4-5 or so going at it or the writing being different. It's one of my favorite type of match and I didn't get into the actions like the others on the card and not like what I expected. It's still ok, but kind of a letdown to me.

7- Angle involving Daivari and The Undertaker

Really good angle to bring the match.

8- Ken Shamrock /w Daivari vs. The Undertaker

Easily my favorite match of the night. flawless all around. I got into the action.. didn't lose interest.. simply solid.

    8- Interview with John Cena

I knew DX would be there. :)

Nice segment and an interesting plot for the next Raw. It got my interest for the next show.

9- King Booker© vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Batista

The Main Event didn't reflect itself in writing. I got lost and didn't get into it as the other matches. Still ok, but not PPV material after reading the other matches.

I won't give grades on the matches and will instead put my top 4 and bottom 3.

    top 4

    - Ken Shamrock /w Daivari vs. The Undertaker

    - Angle involving Daivari and The Undertaker

    - Interview with John Cena

    - Carlito vs. Randy Orton vs. Johnny Nitro vs. Jeff Hardy©

    bottom 3

    - King Booker© vs. Bobby Lashley vs. Batista

    - Ken Kennedy vs. Chris Benoit©

    - Umaga vs. Charlie Haas

Some things itched me here and there but it was a worthwhile show all around and I liked reading it.

  15. The latest shows were really nice.

Here are my predictions for Survivor Series:

    Big Show/Test/Mike Knox/Chris Masters/Edge vs. Kane/Mark Henry/Ahmed Johnson/Sir Finlay/Matt Hardy- Survivor

Alright, Kane can't bo back to Raw....so he appears on Smackdown...well apperently he never signed a contract with Teddy Long? Heyman needs star power on ECW...so he let Kane appear on his show. He didn't know Kane would steal Show's title after making ECW's champion like a jobber. Either way, if Kane's Team wins, he gets an ECW title shot. If Kane's team loses.....Kane HAS to sign a contract for ECW, but he can never get a title shot as long as Show is champion.

Also, if Kane wins the Title match.....Big Show will be moved to Smackdown. If Kane loses the title match....Same result as losing the Survivor series match.
