Okay, sorry it took me a couple of hours to find the CD that I had burned it on.  Here is the link to the EWR Superheroes Scenario/Mod that I created several years ago.  It may need some tweeking/updating, so feel free to do so if you like, and feel free to redistribute it just as long as credit is given back to me (Heath Ammons).  Thanks and I hope you enjoy it!

*The link is only good for 30 days, so once it's broken please let me know and I will happily reupload it for anyone else that may wish to play it.  Also, if anyone updates this scenario/mod, please let me know so I can re-release the updated version accordingly.

Just missed it, myself. Could you upload it one more time, please?

  2. Looking for some posters for PPV's as I get to writing them, so thought I'd start with this one:

Type - PPV poster for 'WCW: Souled Out'

Text - Date is 20th January, 2008. Nothing special in the text is needed

    Font - Nothing specific

Image- A shot of Chris Jericho (Circa 2008), with the WCW World Championship over his shoulder and standing over a ring.

    Colors - Up to you

    Size - PPV poster size.

Sidenotes - Be as creative with it as you want.

  3. Thanks for the effort on both, I reckon I'll go for the first one though as I really like the background and how it goes with the wrestlers, kinda gives it that air of menace. Thanks once again. :)

  4. Type - PPV poster for 'In Your House: Dangerous Alliances'

Text - The date which is 22/9/96. Nothing else really needs to be added.

    Font - Nothing specific

Image - Vader (With WWF Championship) and Steve Austin on one side of the poster with Bret Hart and British Bulldog on the other.

    Colours - Up to you

    Size - PPV poster size

Sidenotes - Main event is a tag team match between Vader & Austin vs. Bret Hart & British Bulldog as opposed to a fatal four way.

  5. Can anyone reccomend a Captain Marvel (DC one) trade paperback? I was looking into getting into the Big Red Cheese and wondered which stories were the best ones to look into. Although I'd prefer ones outside of New 52, I'm still less than enthusiastic about that whole lot.

  6. Type - PPV poster for 'SummerSlam 1996'

Text - The date which is 18/8/96 and perhaps something regarding the main event, 'The Mastodon vs. the Bulldog' or something along those lines although this bit isn't needed as such and would just add a bit to the poster.

    Font - Nothing specific

Image - A face off between the British Bulldog (The Champion) and Vader (The challenger)

    Colours - Up to you

    Size - PPV poster size

Sidenotes - Be as creative with it as you like

  7. Harry Potter's problems could have been solved if anyone in the Magical World had enough brains to scrape together and look into actually getting a gun. Most Superheroes could have taken down Voldermort's network in one evening. Hell, James Bond could have sorted out the problem with one solid weekend of work.

Also, Black Panther because he's a racist douche.

  8. Spider-Man because he's a whiner who moans about every little thing without actually trying to combat the issues he moans about.

And Daredevil because he's an idiot who gave away Spider-Man's secret identity by a slip of the tongue, blamed his best friend on his life going to crap even when he had a hated arch nemesis who was a more likely suspect and was in a bloody awful Kevin Smith graphic novel. Although granted, Keven Smith's comic work leaves much to be desired anyway.

  9. I actually liked that. A nice way to emphasise two of the bigger names in the match and could work in the diary as part of four posters with each person facing off against a different competitor. Really good job and thank you. :)

  10. Type - PPV poster for 'In Your House: Never Surrender'

Text - Date is 14th July, 1996. Nothing special in the text is needed

    Font - Nothing specific

Image- A group shot of eight men with the Hart Foundatin (Bret Hart, Own Hart, British Bulldog & Savio Vega) on the left hand side facing off against Team WWF (Sycho Sid, Ahmed Johnson, Steve Austin & Jake Roberts) on the right hand side. If you want to do something simpler, having the poster be Vader on the left hand side facing against the Ultimate Warrior with both men either surroundedor behind a steel cage.

    Colors - Up to you

    Size - PPV poster size.

Sidenotes - Be as creative with it as you want.

  11. We're also forgetting that somehow, with Bane's guards everywhere, Batman manages to make a rather detailed kerosene outline of the Batlogo on the side of a building.

It was on the bridge I think. Not sure how many would be guarding that bit since I think it was one of those that got blown up.

  12. Well, that card WAS good forever.

Come to think of it, Batman & Robin also closes up the plot hole of how Bane was able to sneak into Gotham and plant all those bombs undetected.

    limobane.jpg

I thought he was able to do that because he was using Dagget's company resources and the like to sneak them in.

  13. Reading all this, something that did pop up in my mind...

Isn't Gotham a good place at this point? Like, The Harvey Dent Act had brought down organised crime completely... so why would the League of Shadows need to cleanse the city when it's now just as good as any other? I mean, I guess you could argue Talia was finishing the job for vengeance or something, but ultimately, Gotham didn't need to be 'cleansed' of evil until Bane turned up and fucked the whole city up.

By this point, al Ghul is essentially dead in this universe and Talia has been putting the plan into action for 8 years. You could say it's because of revenge or a stubbornness that just won't go away over so many years of putting the plan into action - but the most likely answer is, that they are flat out evil and have set in stone beliefs about Gotham and what needs to be done to it, no matter how 'cleansed' it seems.

I guess evil organisations aren't big on second chances.

Funnily enough, a lot of the plot holes in this film could have been sorted out by just... not adding certain scenes. If we'd never learned about Bruce's leg or the fact he'd lost all of his money (which ultimately didn't seem to matter at all) two of the bigger plot holes (how'd he get out of the prison, how'd he get back to Gotham) could be explained a little easier. I mean with crime basically gone, the reason for him not being Batman any more could easily have been that he's just getting older and hasn't been keeping in shape, he's just spent the last 8 years moping over Rachel's death and not being able to move on from being Batman.

I don't see how him getting back to Gotham would be such a plot hole. He spent several years travelling around the world on his own with few resources. He's had the ability to get from one place to another while going under the radar for a while now and he had twenty days to do so. Also, I thought those were the reasons he hadn't been Batman. The leg thing just seemed to be on top of everything else that had happened as opposed to a reason for him hanging up the cowl.

  14. The battle system was great. You actually had to think about who you brought into battle because everyone fought a little different. In 7 & 8, everyone was pretty much the exact same.

That was its virtue for me. Rather than dragging around Dagger or Eiko who were useless in combat save for their healing, in FF7 I could give Tifa a cure materia and have a good fighter with curing abilities in one character. I liked having as many characters with as many abilities as possible.

Plus I was rather annoyed Beatrix got off light for the multiple counts of war crimes and I think one count of attempted genocide too. Wouldn't have been so bad but she kept leaving the main party alive after lmost every damned battle she had with them.

  15. Things that are awesome about Final Fantasy IX:

    - The storyline.

    - The characters.

    - The battle mechanics.

    - The set pieces.

    - The music.

Things that are the worst thing ever about Final Fantasy IX:

    - Chocobo Hot & Cold

Seriously. Chocobo Hot & Cold needs to die a slow and painful death but I'll be damned if I don't 100% this sodding game.

The battle mechnics? I found them to be one of the worst parts of the game meself. It was slow, I had to drag around half useless characters like Eiko who I actively disliked at the best of times and the Trance system was bloody mess.

Music was nice though. And the graphics were the best of the three on the original PS1 but I thought it was the weakest out of the three.
