  1. Thanks for the update:

Just some miscellaneous, mostly minor corrections and things...

    In the staff section:
-Larry Sharpe, Mike Sharpe and Pierre Vigneault are all deceased and should be removed.
-Christy Hemme's name is currently misspelled as Christie.

    Relationships:
-Aerial Monroe is married to Cedric Alexander, not Caprice Coleman.
-Roderick Strong and Marina Shafir's relationship should be "love," not "blood relative."
-Add a love relationship for Jordynne Grace & Jonathan Gresham.
-Add a blood relative relationship for Oceanea and Delmi Exo.

    Tag teams:
-Add Team PAWG, Jordynne Grace and LuFisto, exp. 10, finisher "ATM", active.
-Add The Throwbacks, Dasher Hatfield and Mark Angelosetti, exp 25., active."
-Make inactive: Adrenaline Express, All-Night Express, C.U.N.T., Canadian Ninjas, Grado and Shera, Hope and Change, Jigsaw and Tony Nese, Kimber Bombs, Leaders of the New School, Matt Sydal and ACH, Peacock Experience, Premier Athlete Brand, The Osirian Portal, Time Splitters, Vaudevillains, World's Cutest Tag Team.
-Rename Latin American Xchange to "The OGz."
-Rename LAX to "Latin American Xchange."
-Rename Handicapped Handguns to "Handicapped Heroes."
    -Rename TM-61 to "The Mighty."
    -Delete Second City Saints.

    Misc.:
-Change Antonio Thomas' name to Thomas Santell and his gimmick to Nerd.
-Tick Booker for Marion Fontaine (he runs Olde Wrestling IRL).
-Mike Verna's Sky High finisher is an impact move, not a top-rope move (it's the same Sky High that D'Lo Brown did).

  2. HOH updates -

Remove Jordan Schneider from staff (in fact, he could probably be deleted entirely - I don't think he's been seen since FWE disappeared).

Set Development Territory to None - they don't have any specific relationship with The Dynasty currently.

Remove AJ Pan, Angelina Love, Brandon Scott, Davey Boy Smith Jr., Hardcore Holly, Kevin Thorn, Kikutaro, Lady Diamond Dee, Lance Archer, Rob Van Dam and The Hurricane from the roster.

Add Ace Romero, Billy Gunn, Bull James, Hot Young Briley, Joey Mercury, Lance Anoai, Lisa Marie Varon, Nick Aldis, Petey Williams, Swoggle and Willie Mack to the roster.  (Dan Maff and Matt Riddle should be too, but are already maxed out.)

Add a title called the "HOH Twitch Television title," singles title, 35 image, currently vacant (a tournament is ongoing).

  3. Thanks Bill.

Some refinements for HOH now that it's officially replaced FWE in-game:

Rename its owner from Top Rope Promotions to "Extreme Original Prod."  Change its age to 43, birth month to February and maybe raise its talent a bit (around 82).

Remove Jordan Schneider and Steve DeAngelis from staff.  Make the color commentator Danny Doring.  Vic Travagliante should be the PBP commentator, but I'll have to come up with stats for him first.

Add Justin Roberts to staff; he appeared as ring announcer for the last show's main event and is scheduled to host the next two in November.

The training camp should be called "HOH Wrestling Academy" (or whatever variation fits) with Average facilities (or maybe Good, depending on the criteria we're using - it's run at the Mid-Hudson Civic Center).

While I don't know if there's any official relationship, the HOH students also regularly work for Dynasty Pro Wrestling here in upstate NY (as has Dreamer himself a couple of times) - maybe that could be the development territory?

CW Anderson's position should be Midcard.

With recent talk on the topic of cutting down the Worker file, I'd once again be in favor of removing Tony DeVito from Workers and making him a Road Agent staff member for HOH.  He's done in the ring.

Remove the following from the roster; they were either FWE-only talent and never wrestled for HOH, or haven't appeared for HOH in a substantial amount of time:
    AJ Pan
    Chris Masters
    Christina Von Eerie
    Chuck Taylor
    Damien Darling
    Drew Galloway
    Drew Gulak
    EJ Risk
    Hardcore Holly
    Harry Smith
    Homicide
    Jason Gotti
    Joey Ace
    Joey Ryan
    Lady Diamond Dee
    Lance Storm
    Reby Sky
    Sam Shields
    Shane Helms
    VSK
    Wes Draven

They have a double-shot coming up in November, so any other roster tweaks I'll hold off until after those events.

  4. FWE XIX: Hennigan vs. Styles spoilers

AJ Styles is the FWE Heavyweight Champion.

Veda Scott is the FWE Womens' Champion.

If I get a chance over the next week I'll try to do a roster update from that show and HOH VIII, unless somebody else gets to it first. (Incidentally, I wouldn't add Rey Misterio to the roster unless he appears again. In all likelihood he was a one-off appearance at the HOH show, like Alberto at the previous one.)

  5. FWE roster update from last night's show. Nothing really spoiler-y as there were no title changes, but spoilered for courtesy anyway.

Add the following to the roster (or, if they're already maxed, note that they also work for FWE):

    Brian Myers

    David Starr

    JT Dunn

    Katarina Leigh

    Matt Sydal

    Robbie E

    Silver Ant

    Taeler Hendrix

    Veda Scott

EJ Risk retired; make him a non-wrestler. Deactivate tag team Adrenaline Express.

  6. -Brian Kendrick, Chris Masters, Maryse, Rhett Titus and Shane Strickland haven't appeared for either promotion since 2013 and at this point could be removed entirely.

-If he's still there, Petey Williams should also be removed from all promotions and made a non-wrestler.

Correcting my own mistake - I forgot Masters actually was on HOH6 (the CA show) in June, doing a "Masterlock challenge." For now leave him in FWE on the HOH brand (or, if we're splitting the companies up, put him in HOH).

  7. Roster splits: is there a reason FWE and HOH are roster splits instead of separate companies? If anything I would say delete FWE for running irregularly and add HOH as a full time company.

As far as why they're together in-game, HOH shows are co-promoted by FWE, utilize FWE staff and share a good amount of the same roster. Also, while FWE certainly did run irregularly in 2014, going forward they already have three shows scheduled for the first half of 2015 (one being a two-day event) while HOH has just one. Ideally I'd like to see them separate too, but I think having one be a split of the other works well enough to free space for other promotions and avoid headaches with roster members having more than three promotions (which can an issue even with the two companies together - the current FWE Women's and Tag champs aren't on the in-game roster due to being in too many other companies).

-Change Brooke Danielle to Production and move her to CZW.

Agree with changing to production (at least until/unless she starts wrestling regularly enough to become a worker in-game), but she is Tommy Dreamer's personal assistant and works and trains at the HOH school, so I think she should stay with FWE/HOH.

I would say FWE and HOH should be separate.

Of the current roster I'll put the FWE guys the last two shows (the only 2014 offerings) in blue, the last four HOH shows (the only 2014 offerings) in red and any doubles in purple If there is anyone not in these shows, I will leave them in black.

Aaron Aguilera (only worked the one HOH show in California)

    Abyss

    Adam Pearce

    AJ Pan

    AJ Styles

    Bandido Jr.

    Brian Kendrick

    Carlito

    Chris Masters

    Christina Von Eerie

    Christopher Daniels

    Chuck Taylor

    CW Anderson

    Damien Darling

    Danny Doring

    Devon

    Drew Galloway

    Eddie Kingston

    EJ Risk

    Gangrel

    Hale Collins

Hardcore Holly (only worked the one HOH show in California)

    Homicide

    Ivelisse Velez

    Jason Gotti

    Jigsaw

    Joey Ace

Joey Ryan (only worked the one HOH show in California)

John Morrison (FWE champion despite not appearing since 2013)

    Jorge Santi

    JP

Junior Fatu (only worked the one HOH show in California)

    Kazarian

    Lady Diamond Dee

    Lance Anoai

Lance Storm (only worked the one HOH show in California)

    Little Guido

    M3

    Maria Kanellis

    Maryse Ouellet

    Matt Hardy

    Matt Hyson

    Michael Benett

    Monique Dupree

    Paul London

Petey Williams (only worked the two HoH shows in June before retiring)

    Reby Sky

    Rhett Titus

    Rhino

    Sam Shields

    Shane Helms

    Shane Stickland

    Sonjay Dutt

    Stone Cold ET

    The Sandman

    Tommy Dreamer

    Tony DeVito

    Tony Nese

    Vik Dalishus

    VSK

    Wes Draven

    Wolfie D

Correct me if Sandman and Striker or anyone else has done appearances but it looks like we can split them and not really effect the game with max outs. (Dreamer is but when was the last time he did CZW, March (unless you include WrestleCon.)

    Just filling in some gaps.

    On the HOH side...

-Sandman still regularly appears at HOH; he has yet to have a match there but he'll show up to do a run-in at some point or another on the card. He appeared on all four 2014 HOH shows (and every previous show as well). Has not appeared at an FWE show since 6/13.

-Matt Hyson/Spike Dudley (like Sandman) shows up to do run-ins at HOH events. Appeared on HOH4 and 7.

-Matt Striker wrestled on HOH4 and 6. Has not appeared at an FWE show since 6/13.

-Hale Collins wrestled on HOH4 and I believe was injured in the match; at any rate he and Vik Dalishus are the HOH school's head trainers under Dreamer so he should stay with the company.

-Wolfie D worked HOH4 and 5 under the name Cerebus.

-Monique Dupree is Vik Dalishus' valet in HOH. Appeared with him at three of the four 2014 HOH shows.

    On the FWE side...

-Paul London has not appeared recently for FWE, but is still the FWE Tri-Borough Champ, so he should probably stay there if he doesn't have a promotion conflict. He hasn't appeared for HOH since 2013.

-Lady Diamond Dee is Joey Ace's valet and last appeared at the FWE ReFueled show in October.

-JP and M3 appeared at FWE's last event, ReFueled Night 2. M3 was in a battle royal at HOH4 as Mint Mike Mitchell, but that probably doesn't matter too much.

-Stone Cold ET hasn't shown up recently, but has been sort of mascot character for FWE (and when people ask on Facebook, they respond that he'll "eventually" reappear), so keeping him there probably won't hurt as he isn't working anywhere else.

-Brian Kendrick, Chris Masters, Maryse, Rhett Titus and Shane Strickland haven't appeared for either promotion since 2013 and at this point could be removed entirely.

-If he's still there, Petey Williams should also be removed from all promotions and made a non-wrestler.

In general it doesn't look like there are as many roster conflicts as I thought there'd be, so if people want to separate the companies I won't object.

Edit: On the staff side, if the companies are split up:

-Stephen DeAngelis (HOH ring announcer) and Brooke Danielle (photographer/occasional ref/occasional wrestler/Dreamer's assistant) should both stay with HOH.

-Jordan Schneider does regularly do commentary for both companies, but as he's the actual owner of FWE he should stay with them.

-Leave TRP as in-game "owner" of FWE. Create a new in-game owner for HOH with comparable stats named "Extreme Original Productions" (the credit on the HOH website). I guess make its age 42 and birth month February (same as Dreamer).

  9. FWE roster update from HOH VII.

Add the following to FWE under the HOH roster split (or note that they work here if they already have too many promotions):

    Alberto del Rio

    Bobby Roode
    Brian Myers
    Bully Ray
    Christian York
    Drew Galloway
    Eddie Edwards

    Harry Smith
    Jeff Hardy
    Lance Hoyt
    Ricardo Rodriguez
    Stevie Richards
    Velvet Sky

    Miscellaneous alter-ego updates:

-Add "Smokey Toenails" as an alter-ego for Good Lord Willing.

-Add "Lenn Oddy" and "Tattooed Ugly" as alter-egos for Lenn Oddity.

  10. FWE ReFueled Night 2 spoilers

-The Young Bucks (Matt & Nick Jackson) are the new FWE Tag Team Champions.

-Candice LeRae is the new FWE Women's Champion.

-Add the following to the FWE roster on open contracts (or just take note that they work there, if they're already at three promotions):

    Chris Sabin

    Christopher Daniels

    Colt Cabana

    David Starr

    Drew Galloway

    Hania

    Joel Gertner

    Johnny Gargano

    JT Dunn

    Kazarian

    Matt Taven

    Orange Cassidy

    Robbie E

    Rockstar Spud

    Veda Scott

-Remove the following from FWE (all last appeared 12+ months ago):

    Chris Rockwell

    Jimmy Yang

    Johnny Knockout

    Karen Jarrett

    Kasey Ray

    Katarina Leigh

    Larry Dallas

    Rosita

    Ted DiBiase

    Terry Funk

    The Patriot

-Make Joel Gertner the manager of Alex Reynolds

-Make Monique Dupree the manager of Vik Dalishus

-Delete the FWE Openweight Grand Prix Title - it looks like the idea of that being its own belt has been dropped.

    Miscellaneous/non-FWE notes:

-Make Lashley's primary finisher Spear (impact) and secondary Dominator (impact)

-Make Bully Ray a tweener and change his gimmick to Extremist

    -Tick Trainer for Bobby Ocean

-Add "Ace Vetter" to Trent Barreta's alter-egos

-Change The Hardys' tag finisher to Extreme Combination (Twist of Fate-Swanton)

-Rename tag team GOKU-DO and Diamond to The Orient Express (which they last wrestled as) or Badd Company

-Deactivate tag team The FBI (Little Guido & Tony Mamaluke)

  11. Drew Galloway should be added to FWE if he already isn't, as well as adding a tag team of Nese and Jigsaw. Not sure of the exp. but they seem to be a tag team for the company for a little while now, and they would be going against the Young Bucks, Daniels and Kaz, and Adrenaline Express for their Oct show, Re-Fueled. Also Funk, Sandman, and The Patriot should be taken out of the company though, I recall the Patriot being used from a show in Brooklyn a couple of years ago. Maryse should be their color commentator, since they put up a lot of videos where she is their color commentator and AJ Pan is their ring announcer so tick announcer for him as well.

That's all I really know much since over the summer they've hyping Re-Fueled at the TNA NYC shows a great deal and generally around the NYC area and their YT channel and Facebook.

Sandman still appears regularly on HOH shows, for non-wrestling roles (run-ins and angles). Terry Funk last appeared at HOH3 (11/13) and Patriot at Welcome to the Rumble 2 (6/13), so yeah, they could be removed.

AJ Pan could probably have his gimmick changed to Staff Member and could maybe be made a non-wrestler as he has been the ring announcer only and I don't believe has managed since Welcome to the Rumble 2. Per Bill's updates, I don't think ring announcers get the Announcer stat ticked though (neither Lilian Garcia nor Christy Hemme have it).

The color commentator slot is harder to pin down, as FWE and HOH have had a revolving door of guest color commentators. Maryse certainly works, but Colt Cabana, Katarina Leigh, Matt Striker and Danny Doring have also called shows for them in the past (speaking of which: tick Announcer for Doring). FWE and HOH do also have a couple of other PBP/"third-man-in-the-booth" announcers - Mike Schiavello and Vic Travagliante - that regularly call the action with or in place of Jordan Schneider; I believe both of them need to be added to the game though.

Jigsaw and Tony Nese teamed once before and are scheduled to team for both nights at ReFueled, so if added as a tag team they'd have 3 experience.

  12. -Johnny Canuck has passed away. (http://tinyurl.com/phvpykj)

-Make Rhino a heel in FWE.

-Rename Bobby Dutch to Bill Carr, change his gimmick to Enforcer and add him to FWE under the HOH brand split.
-Add a tag team for Bill Carr and Dan Barry called Tremendous Investigations Inc., 20 exp., active

-Activate Cryme Tyme and rename them to Crime Time.

-Add HOH manager DG Haven to the game.

    Name: DG Haven

    Short Name: Haven
    Gender: Male
    Age: 39
    Birth Month: February
    Weight: Light

    Secondary Finisher: Low Blow (impact)

    Speaks: Yes
    Wage: 6k
Contracts: FWE (HOH roster split), Open, Manager, Heel, Arrogant
    Alter Egos: David Gere
    Relationships: n/a

  13. Post HOH6 roster update for FWE:

Add the following under the HOH roster split:
    -Aaron Aguilera (heel)
    -Hardcore Holly (face)
    -Joey Ryan (heel)
    -Matt Hardy (heel)*
    -Michael Bennett (heel)
    -Reby Sky (heel)*
    -Tommaso Ciampa (face)
-Junior Fatu (face) - rename Rikishi

*Or in their case, just don't remove them. They weren't on the NY and PA shows, and when I did my last post I totally forgot they were booked for CA.

    -Tick Announcer for Danny Doring.

Also, FWE itself suddenly announced last week that they're returning in October for new shows, so on the whole company conversion thing, nevermind.

  14. Quick FWE/HOH roster update after this weekend's House of Hardcore shows.

Add the following to FWE under the HOH roster split:
    Abyss (heel)
    Adam Pearce (heel)
    AJ Styles (face)
    Christopher Daniels (tweener)
    CW Anderson (tweener)
    Drew Gulak (heel)
    Gangrel (face)
    Kazarian (tweener)
    Shane Helms (face)
Wolfie D (tweener) - rename to Cerebus

Chris Hero also worked these HOH events, but already has three promotions.

Remove the following from the company:
2 Cold Scorpio (last appeared 6/13)
    Amber O'Neal (last appeared 11/13)
    Devon Storm (last appeared 6/13)
    Doc Gallows (last appeared 11/13)
    Matt Hardy (last appeared 11/13)
Montel Vontavious Porter (last appeared 11/13)
    Reby Sky (last appeared 11/13)
    Rick Steiner (last appeared 6/13)
    Scott Steiner (last appeared 6/13)
    Sean Waltman (last appeared 11/13)
    Stevie Richards (last appeared 11/13)
    Tara (last appeared 11/13)

HOH has another show coming up next week, so I'll do any further updates necessary then, and maybe look at doing the company conversion then too (I'll see if I can dig up anything on FWE's current status in the meantime; nothing came to light at the show I went to, but FWIW other than Jordan Schneider doing commentary I didn't see any other FWE staff there).

    Also, some other minor tweaks:

    -Rename A-One to A1
-Change Brittany's gimmick to Obsessed Fan and make her a tweener
-Make Buck Quartermain a non-wrestler (retired 2013 per Cagematch)
-Make Cedric Alexander's primary finisher "Lumbar Check" (impact) and secondary "Overtime" (top rope)
-Change Crazzy Steve's gimmick to Clown
-Rename D'Angelo Dinero to Elijah Burke
    -Make Dewey Barnes a face
-Make Ethan Carter III's primary finisher "One Percenter" (as opposed to "One Percent")
-Swap Fronz Roddy's finishers (Aus Crusher primary; Spear secondary)
-Add Gail Kim-Irvine as an alter-ego for Gail Kim
    -Rename GOKU-DO to Pat Tanaka
-Rename Goodlord Willing to Good Lord Willing
-Change Jon Rekon's name to Strong Man (last match as Rekon in April 2013)
-Change Magnus' gimmick to Old School Heel or Bad Ass
-Change Samuel Shaw's gimmick to Psycho
-Remove Scarlett Bordeaux as Truth Martini's manager in ROH
-Change Spellbinder's name to Phantasio (per Cagematch, used the name in his most recent match in 2012; last match as Spellbinder was 2001)
-Rename Tara to Lisa Marie Varon
    -Rename Wolfie D to Cerebus

-Activate Headbangers (per Cagematch, active as a team as of April 2014)
    -Deactivate Angelina and Katarina
    -Deactivate Bobby Roode and Kazarian
    -Deactivate New Orleans Fight Club

-Change the relationship of Joey Kaos Munoz and Sylvia to Love (married)

  15. Well, you're the "expert" on that promotion, so I'll probably do whatever you suggest... My only question would be: Does it make sense to make HOH the main promotion, while keeping FWE as a roster split...?

It's possible. I'm as much in the dark as anyone on the current status of FWE, but I can't imagine that the fact that they haven't run a show in seven months and (other than a DVD release party in January and a "congrats" message to Eric Young when he won the TNA title) have been totally silent since then is a good sign. By contrast, by this time last year they were going into their second show of 2013 and by this time in 2012 were going into their fourth.

It's possible that something could come to light at the upcoming HOH shows so I'll at least wait til after the two this coming weekend to do anything major.

  16. Thanks in advance Bill, and best wishes!

Just to throw this out there... I'm starting to think it might be worth fully converting FWE into House of Hardcore. FWE's last show was seven months ago in early December, and they've been largely incommunicado since, with no new shows even hinted at. HOH, meanwhile, has three shows coming up, the last of which will be extending their presence to the West Coast.

Such a conversion wouldn't be too difficult; really just changing the company and owner names, removing the non-HOH workers from the roster and getting rid of the FWE titles. I was going to update FWE/HOH anyway after the double shot this weekend (I'm going to the Poughkeepsie show on Friday), so thought I'd pitch this idea in advance.

  17. Assuming the in-game HOH roster split is assigned to those who only appear for House of Hardcore and not "regular" FWE shows, Williams, Nese, Reynolds, Masters and Striker shouldn't have it as they're regulars on both FWE and HOH shows. Not a huge deal either way of course; just depends on how the "split" is defined.

Here's how the splits are supposed to work...

FWE is the "parent" promotion, where HOH is a "split" of that.

If a worker works for FWE and not HOH, they wouldn't get the split designation.

If a worker works for HOH only, they would get the split designation.

If a worker works for both, they would get the split designation.

The idea is, if you wanted to start a game and just "play as" HOH, you could use the roster split to weed out those who haven't worked for them. The same is in effect for Shimmer/Shine and WWN, with FIP being the split. In my "Beginners" updats in the cases of Shimmer/Shine and WWN, I actually incluse banners and logos for Shine, EVOLVE and FIP, in the event that you wanna reduce the roster in that way. I haven't done a banner/logo for HOH yet and DGUSA is still the default banner/logo for WWN, but hopefully, those will be added by the next time the "Beginners" update is released.

So, in short, in the cases you mention (unless I'm misreading), they should all have the split, as again, they are part of HOH, so if you wanted to play as HOH exclusively, they wouldn't be weeded out when you set the roster split.

    Hope that makes sense.

    -Bill

Sure does. I rescind the original statement - I misinterpreted how we were using the split feature.

  18. Maybe change Bully Ray and Abyss' TNA contracts to open, and add to FWE (HOH)?

Add AJ Styles to FWE, brand split HOH

Change Matt Striker's FWE roster split to HOH

Add Gangrel to FWE, midcard. Set Roster Split to HOH

Add CW Anderson to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add Adam Pearce to FWE, midcard Old School Heel. Set roster split to HOH

Set Chris Masters FWE roster split to HOH

Set Petey Williams FWE roster split to HOH

Set Tony Nese's FWE roster split to HOH

Add Junior Fatu to FWE, set roster split to HOH, rename Rikishi

Add The Godfather to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add Ron Simmons to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add Shane Helms to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add AJ Styles to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add Christopher Daniels to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add Kazarian to FWE, set roster split to HOH

Add Wolfie D to FWE, midcard. Set roster split to HOH. Rename Cerebus. Change weight to heavyweight

Add Barbie Blank to FWE, non-wrestler. Set roster split to HOH

Remove Alex Reynolds from ECWA. Add to FWE, midcard. Set roster split to HOH

Am I correct in assuming that these people have been announced for the June 6/7 HOH events...? If so, we'd normally wait until after they actually appear before adding them.

Agreed; I got in trouble with that when I jumped the gun on adding people announced for HOH3 before the event took place, and then had to go back and get Lance Hoyt taken back out when he wasn't able to do the show. Also, it hasn't been announced yet what the roles of the newcomers will be; some of them could end up being just for the pre-show signings; for instance, Maryse was at the signings of both the first and third HOH shows, but never appeared on the actual shows; ditto Flair at HOH2 and Ted DiBiase Sr. and Jr. and J.J. Dillon at HOH3 (Maryse and Ted Jr. do appear for FWE, however). I could see Barbie Blank, for instance, possibly being there just for the signings.

At any rate, thanks for the update, and best wishes on the procedure!

  19. -Announcer Lee Marshall passed away earlier this week.

-Apologies if this has been discussed before (I don't recall it) - maybe set the TNA Television Title to Suspended? It still appears on the official website's roster page (with Abyss as champ), so I wouldn't delete it entirely yet, but since it hasn't been used or mentioned on TV in months and Abyss hasn't appeared with it, Suspending it might work for now.
