  1. APW owner Roland Alexander has passed away. http://www.f4wonline.com/more/more-top-stories/118-daily-updates/33847-roland-alexander-passes-away Most sources I've seen have her born in Mexico City?
  2. The nice thing about EWR's Japanese system is that, they only make workers unavailable for specific dates. Hoyt can stay in FWE, while also having a touring commitment... We can just assume that the FWE event was one of the dates that Hoyt was "on tour" and unavailable for FWE. If he's not working for FWE at all, that's a different story, but it sounds like in this instance, the dates just didn't allow him to work one specific show. Please let me know if I'm wrong on this. -Bill HOH3 would've been his FWE/HOH debut. As I recall, he was announced along with several returning stars (i.e. Tara), so I put the suggestion to add him to FWE with them. Since he's now off of HOH3, has not been booked for FWE's next show (Open Weight Grand Prix: Second Round in Dec.) either, and hasn't worked for them in the past, I'd just remove him for the time being. In the future I'll wait to suggest roster additions until the show actually happens. Thanks for the update btw!
  3. Seems like doing this would reduce at least a fair chunk of the Relationships file and save some work on Bill's end as far as adding and removing relationships goes. I remember rumors of Undertaker and Michelle McCool because of the paparazzi pictures of them just standing together and getting lunch. It's not like they were caught kissing or something in these pictures. What do you know, it was true. The problem is we don't know which relationship will last or not. For instance, Tammy Sytch and Chris Candido were on breaks at point (remember Shawn's "Sunny days" comment to Bret?) Some relationships are fuzzy. That's an issue. I think we should have it be at least a year (or the worker(s)) say they have dated for a year before we add the relationship going forward The specific incident I had in mind was when several months ago a Love relationship was suggested for Brad Maddox and Paige with the sole evidence being a single photo of them standing side-by-side and smiling. IMO, more direct evidence would be needed than just a few out-of-context, not-specifically-romantic pictures to warrant anything being added to the game - I wasn't an active poster yet when the Taker-McCool relationship was added (could've been lurking then, but don't remember it specifically), but I'd like to think it wasn't put in the game until more solid evidence than just those pictures came to light. A period of a year or so sounds like a good rule of thumb. Of course it'll never be completely foolproof; long-term relationships or marriages can break up, people who have split can get back together, etc. But being more stringent as to what goes in in the first place can make it that much easier to manage when something does have to change.
  4. For my two cents re: relationships, I'd also suggest being more stringent on Love relationships and limiting them to only marriages, engagements and known long-term, multi-year relationships (think Candido and Sunny), thus cutting out ones based on simply "so-and-so is dating so-and-so this month." At worst, I've seen Love relationships suggested based solely on two workers being photographed together (to be fair, I believe those were shot down pretty quickly in the suggestions thread and didn't actually make it into the game), but even not factoring that kind of thing there's always a lot of "dating" relationships that are put into the game and a month or two later have to be removed, or worse, don't get removed as details of someone's private life aren't made public right away and thus just make the game inaccurate by sticking around (for instance, James Storm still had a Love relationship with Crystal Louthan in the game until fairly recently - at least as recent as the Feb. 2013 data - despite being married to someone else outside the business for around two years IRL). In my reading of the in-game FAQ, the game itself seems to support this: Seems like doing this would reduce at least a fair chunk of the Relationships file and save some work on Bill's end as far as adding and removing relationships goes.
  5. Remove Goldust and Lance Hoyt from FWE. Their other commitments (Goldust with WWE, Hoyt in Japan) have prevented them from working HOH3 as scheduled; since neither have worked for FWE or HOH in the past I'd remove them until they actually show up there. Per this article, add a friendship, perhaps even loyalty between Rosita and Tommy Dreamer. http://www.chinlock.com/2013/10/thea-trinidad-triumph-and-tragedy/ (great read overall, btw) I'll be at HOH3 on the 9th so I'll fill in any other necessary updates for FWE afterward.
  6. Add Ted DiBiase (Jr.) and Rhett Titus to the FWE roster, both as heels - both worked tonight's Open Weight Grand Prix, and DiBiase will also work HOH3 next month. Add Karen Jarrett to FWE as a face Authority Figure. Switch Petey Williams' TNA contract to Open and add him to FWE as a heel. As of next month he'll have worked five consecutive FWE/HOH shows.
  7. So Cal Val arrested and charged with DUI and leaving the scene of an accident - http://pwinsider.com/article/80323/former-tna-knockout-arrested.html?p=1 Drop her behavior by the usual amount for this sort of thing (5 points?). Add Devon and Stevie Richards to FWE under the HOH roster. Add a tag team for Devon and DOC, "Aces and Eights II," 10 exp., inactive. Make Isis the Amazon a non-wrestler (retired 2011 per Cagematch). Set Paddy Morrow's age to 29 and birth month to December (per Cagematch).
  8. From FWE's Facebook: Remove Jay Lethal and Mike Bennett from FWE. (No word yet on if and how this affects FWE Women's Champ Maria Kannellis.) Add DOC, Lance Hoyt, Matt Hardy, Reby Sky and Sonjay Dutt to FWE under the HOH brand - all will be on the 11/9 show (DOC, as "The Big XLG," was also at HOH1).
  9. As always, thanks Bill! -Add Lance Storm, Sean Waltman and Terry Funk to FWE under the HOH brand split. All three appeared at HOH2 in June and are booked again for a match at HOH3 in November. -Cheerleader Melissa has also been booked for FWE's Open Weight Grand Prix in October - she's already at her three-promotion limit, but may as well make note of it in case something happens with one of her other companies. -Add Greg Marasciulo to Trent Barreta's alter-egos. He's also booked for FWE's Open Weight Grand Prix, but also already has too many promotions. -Make Kasey Ray an active wrestler in FWE (lower midcard). She currently has no managerial clients and is scheduled to wrestle at the next show. -Raise Angelina and Katarina's tag exp. to 10 and set their tag finisher to Samoan Drop/Botox Injection. -Tick Booker for Brian XL and The Amazing Red. They run the House of Glory promotion in NYC. -Tick Trainer for Quiet Storm. He is a trainer at House of Glory's school.
  10. Per Tommy Dreamer's Facebook, add Rhino, Tara/Lisa Marie Varon and Goldust to FWE on open contracts; they've all been booked for HOH3 in November (Rhino and Tara have also worked for FWE/HOH in the past). Rhino and Goldust on the HOH roster split. Kevin Steen has also been booked for HOH3, but I believe he's already at his three-promotion limit in-game. Change Goodlord Willing's nationality to American (his 1700's British dandy character - represented in game as "Weirdo" - nothwithstanding). Add Matt Smith to his alter-egos. Add Pierre "The Beast" Vachon to the game.
  11. Add Serena Deeb to FWE on an open contract. She's been announced for their October event.
  12. Remove So Cal Val from TNA. (Perhaps change her position to Manager?)
  13. Thanks as always! Couple of quick alignment tweaks for FWE: Eddie Kingston - heel Homicide - heel James Maritato/Little Guido - face Jimmy Yang - tweener, perhaps (he worked as a heel with his Akio gimmick against Paul London at Welcome to the Rumble 2, then as a face later the same night with his Flying Elvises gimmick in the rumble match) Katarina Leigh - face (could probably stand a gimmick change too as she doesn't really do the Supernatural thing anymore - Mysterious, perhaps?) Maria Kanellis - heel Shawn Daivari - face (he worked as a face against Crowbar at HOH 1; probably change gimmick to Old School Face) Also... Nick Berk should be the manager of Big Daddy V (as Nicky Benz, he managed BDV at HOH 1). Reactivate the tag team of Love and Winter (they teamed up at Welcome to the Rumble 2 last month); rename team to Love and Katarina. Maybe make Vik Dalishus a heavyweight - he was already borderline, and looks to have put on a fair amount of weight lately. For anyone wanting them, here's the FWE logo and banner graphics I made:
  14. One more FWE update for me this month. Add JP Add M3 Add a tag team for JP and M3 called The ExerGuys, 8 exp., active Also, the FWE training camp should be named "HOH Wrestling Academy." Stephen DeAngelis is the ring announcer for HOH events; he could be added to FWE as a staff member. As far as event names go, thus far the only names repeated in the company's short history have been "No Limits," "Welcome to the Rumble" and the HOH-branded shows, and same-named shows haven't necessarily been the same month year-by-year. But, here's a selection of past event names and the months they've been held to do with what you will. As far as event size goes, their shows have been broadcast on iPPV since last October; I assume that qualifies as PPV in-game.
  15. This is my first shot at promotion stats, so if anyone wants to edit me feel free. When I have time I'll still try to work up stats for some more of the missing workers and staff. Totally forgot the women's strap. FWE Women's Title - 23 image, currently held by Maria Kanellis
  16. Here's a good chunk of the other missing FWE workers. (Accidentally posted this on the June update as I had that thread open to check the roster list I'd posted there to see how many more there were to be added after this. Sorry 'bout that.) Add Damien Darling Add Diamond Dee Add EJ Risk Add Joey Ace Add Johnny Knockout Add Jorge Santi

  18. That's what I figured. FWE co-promotes HOH shows, their top title has been defended at both HOH shows to date, and there's a lot of crossover between their rosters (the separate HOH roster I did for the roster split is those that have *only* done HOH-branded shows thus far).
  19. A wrestler at least insofar as that he can get in the ring, do the Stunner and a few other basic moves and comedy spots, and take a few bumps, yes. He was in the 30-man Rumble at the most recent FWE show. That said I probably did overrate that brawl skill, so I'll go back and change that.
  20. The big names on my roster list (Dreamer, Masters, Carlito, Cabana, London, Kendrick, Bucks, etc.) are all regulars. John Morrison is one of the most recent additions, but as he's currently their top champ (as of 6/21) doubtless he'll be sticking around for awhile. I tried to leave off the one-shot guest appearances as much as possible (Rhino, for instance, wrestled on one FWE and one HOH show last October, but hasn't appeared for them since, and RVD wrestled Dreamer at the show I went to two weeks ago but that was one-and-done since he's on his way back to WWE). Offhand the ones that could go either way: Jay Lethal is a former FWE champ but hadn't appeared for them much since going back to ROH, but did make a surprise appearance at their last show, and Robbie E may not appear for FWE anymore now that TNA is on the road. Also, Matt Striker made his FWE debut at their last show, but as he's NYC-local it seems likely that he'd become a regular at least to do commentary (Edit: FWE's Facebook confirmed Striker will be on hand at their next show on 10/12). I will go back over my roster list with a fine-toothed comb though as there might be a few of the lower-tier guys that haven't appeared in awhile and could be omitted (I've noticed that Hawaii Allen, for instance, doesn't have an FWE match listed on Cagematch in over a year - fortunately he's not in the game yet anyway). Edit: Add Stone Cold ET to the game. Add AJ Pan to the game.
  21. Probably biased since I was second row at Welcome to the Rumble 2 in Queens a little more than a week ago, but I know I'd love to see FWE added. As they co-promote Dreamer's House of Hardcore shows (and the FWE title is defended at those events), perhaps HOH could be a roster split for FWE if it were added. That said a fair number of FWE's undercarders and staff members would have to be added to the game. I'll try to come up with a cursory roster list just for exploratory purposes. Edit: Here's the roster listing I've come up with. Feel free to make corrections/alterations/suggestions.
