I forget what it's called but isn't there a music one where you hire bands to your own label?
-
Nickelback aren't nearly as bad as some folk make out. Although I wasn't keen on The Long Road. But still, they're nothing amazingly special.
-
Jane Says - Janes Addiction
Although i don't mind the band, this song truly sucks.

'These words' by Natasha Beddingfield annoys the crap outta me

Will they ever get 50,000 people to sign up?

Anybody heard about this? (From Sky News)
Chopper Missing After Euro MatchUpdated: 09:59, Wednesday May 02, 2007
A private helicopter carrying a wealthy supporter of Chelsea FC is missing following last night's Liverpool v Chelsea Champions League match.
The Twin Squirrel helicopter was carrying Phillip Carter back from the Anfield game when it disappeared from radar screens.
Earlier reports suggested Chelsea FC officials may have been on board.
But the club later said its official party was accounted for.
The helicopter, which was carrying between three and five people, left John Lennon Airport in Liverpool last night and was heading to a private landing site near Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, when it vanished.
Sky News correspondent James Matthews says mountain rescue teams are due to start searching an area around the east Midlands.
Mr Carter is the founder of fast-growing training company Carter & Carter.
Faye Adkin, who works from the company, said the helicopter was carrying Mr Carter, the pilot and two or three passengers when it went missing.
She said: "At this moment we are praying and hoping for the best."
A police spokeswoman said it was hoped the chopper had made an emergency landing.
"Details are sketchy at the moment," she said.
"The helicopter, we believe, had about four or five people on board and was a twin-engine Squirrel.
"It left John Lennon Airport in Liverpool at about 11pm last night and was on its way to a private address near Peterborough.
"It appears to have disappeared off the radar. At the moment we are trying to find out more.
"The best case scenario is that it has made an emergency landing somewhere."

(H)We're taking a inflatable paddling pool thing to download as a way to cool down if it's hot and to make the girls wrestle in it again. Consider this is an open invitation to all EWB'ers to come and sit in it with us.
-
I think the majority of the MCR abuse at Download is going to be aimed at the fans, the 14 year old emos withe skinny fit jeans and eyeliner etc.
I predict that groups of metalheads who can't stand any other type of music will whip up trouble and try to squash them all in a moshpit they've created.
-
Anybody going to be joining the MCR hate clan that seems to be forming?
I've heard several people say that they are going to be piss bottling Gerard Way.
Personally I have no particular opinion on the band themselves other then they are ridiculously over played and over rated.

I'm thinking of buying an acoustic or a electro acoustic guitar to take with me as something to do before the festval gets underway properly (if i havn't mentioned earlier in this thread, me and my freinds are going on the wednesday it opens).
I was wondering what a good price on a electro acoustic guitar is as i don't know much about them to be hounest.

10. We Don't Celebrate Sundays - Hardcore Superstar
While it's a pretty simple song with not all that much musical talent involved it is catchy as fuck and i can't wait to see it performed at download.
9. Hallowed Be Thy Name - Iron Maiden
A great song all the way through, from the awesome build up at the start to the thunderous explosion of noise that follows it.
8. You Are So Last Summer - Taking Back Sunday
My favorite song from Probly my favorite of all the bands that are labeled as emo.
7. One - Metallica
Surely this song doesn’t need any explaining as to why it kicks ass, if you've never listened to it before DO IT!
To truly appreciate this song watch the music video.
6. Don't Cry - Guns N' Roses
I'm not sure as to why this has made it into my top ten as it's not really one of my favorite GNR's songs, still a good listen if you've grown tired of listening to Sweet Child O' Mine and Welcome to the Jungle constantly.
5. Last Summer - Lost Prophets
A great track, i liked it when it came out, i loved it when i saw Prophets live a few years back.
4. You've Got another Thing Coming - Judas Priest
A true classic metal anthem.
3. Of Wolf and Man - Metallica
Not one of the better known Metallica tracks but is still an awesome song, listen to the S & M version.
2. Next To You - Buck Cherry
A cool little track, I didn’t realize I had listened to it so many times to be honest but it is a somewhat addictive song that will be stuck in your head for a week.
1. Seek & Destroy - Metallica
My personal favorite song, a cool opening riff is followed up by the bellowing vocals of both Hetfield and Jason Newsted (on Live Sh*t Binge Burge box set).
-
I've been to several gigs on my own, while there not as good as when you have freinds with you you can still enjoy the music.
-
Anything else I need to know, since it's my first time?
-
A draw was always on the cards
Then why did you predict a 2-1 scoreline?
-
Anyone know what the trouble at the trainstation was today?
Our train was kept in new street for 20-25 mins because of the police holding the previous train at Aston due to a 'disturbance' on board before the game.
-
My match report;
Aston Villa 0 - 0 Portsmouth
A draw was always on the cards really, both teams looked solid at the back with both goalkeepers playing well when called upon, especially record breaking David James who received a warm reception at his former stomping ground from both sets of supporters.
Other then a dissalowed goal and a couple of close efforts from Craig Garder the match saw very little in the way of clear cut oppertunies, Villa largley bossed the play through the entire game but lacked the finishing touch to take the three points.
-
I'm taking the misses to her first ever football match later at Villa (Vs. Portsmouth).
2-1 to the Villa i reckon.

EWB Prison Rules rugby, followed by a piss up.
Could be fun ^_^

Have you been before? That's a lot more than I personally take. First year I camped i took a bit more than that and moving it all around wasn't worth the hassle. I cut back a bit on things that were done for comfort, like the duvets and pillows, and only took one pair of shoes.

Only problem is the stupidly short headphones.

I'm sorry but the words 'Good Music' and 'Fall Out Boy' Don't go together
To answer your question Lost Prophets, The Offspring, blink 182 are all pop-punk type bands.
