  1. Picked it up last week and have played it on and off the last couple days. Pretty much Skate 2.5 but still awesome. Just had a play in park editor and uploaded it before. It's unfinished but PS3'rs tell me what you think. Park. :shifty:

  2. That's Kevin. I always confused him with the character Dog Poo. :shifty:

I thought it was a good episode. Despite being a shite joke; 'Bummers' kept getting a laugh out of me. Way better than last season's opener.

  3. Never been to a bad gig, really. As far as headlines go, the worst I've seen was the GZA from Wu-Tang. Someone got bottled a couple songs in and he seemed bored through out the whole set. It was alright, but hardly bad.

Supports though.. they've been bad. I've seen a guy called DJ Mules open for a few different acts. I always thought DJ's were meant to mix songs... not just play them. Mules' just plays them straight off the record. I was just like 'woop woop sound of da police', then I realised it was just the ordinary song. My mate and I were the only ones on the front row. At the end of his 'set' he yelled DJ MULES and gave him the thumbs up. Mules stopped the record.. waved.. all was silent.. someone yelled 'YOU FUCKING SUCK'.. and everyone burst out laughing. Mules quickly left the stage.

I went to see Lost Prophets yesterday......I honestly cannot remember shit. I don't even know if I actually made it to the gig...I presume I did...but yeah...I remember...shit.

I'm tempted to see lostprophets at the end of this month. I listened to their first record and Start Something, but then discovered they had gone all gay looking and played shite music only recently. I want to go because it's at a good venue where I can get away with getting awfully shitfaced. I just want to remember one or two good songs.. here's hoping they play them, I guess. :shifty:

  4. In Activision's defence (first and likely last time I'll ever use that phrase) DJ Hero is bloody amazing, sure there's too many guitar/band games, but DJ'ing is significantly different enough to not be included on that list.

I admit, DJ Hero does look really interesting to me. I'm just afraid of shelling out the money for it and not liking it

DJ Hero is fucking awesome. Pretty much finished medium the first day I got it.

Awesome selection of tunes. I had to download the soundtrack because of the stuff that's on there. :shifty:

    edit: word filters. goddammit.

  5. Listened to them, haven't bothered to buy them. They don't really do much for me. It's cool Only is making music, but it's nothing special.

In other news, I've been giving Michale Grave' live acoustic album a good play the last few days. What was the falling out between him and Only about? I read it was just 'turmoil', but was it anything major? He was good on American Psycho and Famous Monsters, and I'd love to have him back rather than Only singing.

edit: bah, I just read a Graves interview where he said the problem wasn't between he and Only, it was between him, Doyle and Chud.

'Jerry and I do not have a dysfunctional working relationship. Him and I both know and I know he knows that I am on board. It is a phone call away. I won't step back into what I walked away from, but the problem isn't with Jerry and I. The problem is with Doyle and with Chud.'

That was September last year. Chud and Doyle aren't even in the band anymore. Graves as frontman again would be awesome.

  6. Thanks Livid.

How exactly would you go about making the body text more readable besides just changing the font, or taking stuff away from it? I had tried making the picture smaller so text would go underneath it but it just seemed off.

  7. I honestly do not like live albums. I love watching the concerts on DVD but I think live shows have to be experienced visually. Not to mention I hate when bands stop playing just to let the fans sing. I know it's all about fan participation but I don't pay $15 to hear the crowd sing, I pay it to hear the band sing.

I'm pretty much the same. I much prefer watching a live DVD than listening to a live CD.

That said though, I do have a few favorites.

Cypress Hill - Live at the Fillmore

Slightly Stoopid - Acoustic Roots: Live and Direct

    The Misfits - Evillive II

Kottonmouth Kings - Classic Hits Live

Authority Zero - Rhythm & Booze

  8. So the funniest thing ever just happened.

Me and Jacob had just finished a drinking session at the pub, we stumble around for a bit until we see a car hit a pedestrian. The guy gets out of his car so I think it's a good idea to just steal his car and drop Jacob home... wrong. I get in and start doing a donut around the owner, but he rips me out, and somehow really quickly gets in and begins to drive away..... with Jacob inside. I stand up without the drunk walk and begin to give chase, but he's slowly pulling away. I open fire and he begins speeding away. Then a car comes out of an adjacent intersection and runs me over. I get up and get a message saying I've left my friend behind.

    (N) from Jacob.
