Its only irrelevant if he's the only player they want to sign before the deadline. If that extra £10m prevents them signing Lemar or someone else we're not aware of, it still matters. 

With one year remaining on his deal, that would be a hell of a deal if Arsenal managed to get cash and Sterling. I can't see it happening, but I'd imagine Sanchez will be moving in the next few days in a cash only deal.

Last one I can remember is the one which involved Gallas and cash from Chelsea for Ashley Cole. There may been a few deals since then though.

No, it's all set on the same Earth. The stories don't cross over though. There is currently Batman, All-Star Batman and Detective Comics all running at the same time on the same earth. I believe All-Star is due to end, if it hasn't done so already.

I thought The Casting was incredible. I ended up buying both covers. It felt like Scott Snyder just threw everything he could at it, and most of it worked. Don't get me wrong, I'm excited for the event, just not as excited by the final reveal of issue 1 as others are in some other forums I visit.
