  1. Update John Cena's "Starting Absence" to 4 weeks (He'll return in March for a RTWM build)

Add "Gunn Club" tag team to AEW - Billy & Austin Gunn - Unit / Formed Jan. 2020 / Experience: None

    Add Alex Shelley to NXT

Add "Time Splitters" tag team to NXT - Alex Shelley & KUSHIDA - Unit / Formed Sept. 2012 / Experience: Medium / Finisher: Outatime

(Shelley & Kushida put all NXT teams on notice in a post DRTTC interview, so assuming he's sticking around for the time being in the tag division)

Add "Simmering Tension" between Tama Tonga & Eric Anthony

Not confirmed/No Update: At this point, I changed Jason Jordan to "Retired" and made him a Road Agent with Staff Member (Realistic) gimmick under his WWE contract. Up to you/players discretion.

Remove Nicole Garcia and Brianna Danielson from WWE

  2. -Barrington Hughes was released by MLW.

-Fandango revealed he had Tommy John surgery. That's almost a death sentence for a pitcher, but I don't know what it means for a wrestler. A quick glance at recovery times has it anywhere from 2 Years-12 weeks. I found an article by Olympic woman's wrestler, Katherine Shai, who detailed her journey with the injury. It took her a 1 year before she got back into active competition, so I guess that's the happy medium here? 1 year out.

  3. MLW Event Overhaul

-January: Zero Hour - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-February: SuperFight - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-March: Spring Break - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-April: Rise of the Renegades - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-May: Intimidation Games - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-June: Fury Road - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-July: Battle Riot - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr 30mins / Set AI Instructions: Hold Battle Royal)

-August: Never Say Never - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-September: War Chamber - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-October: One Shot - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-November: Blood & Thunder - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr)

-December: Opera Cup - Saturday, Week 1 (Set time: 1 Hr 30 mins / Set AI Instructions: All 1 Vs 1 Matches)

**I laid this out to give MLW a "PPV/Event" for each of the 12 months. This is roughly based on what they ran between last year and this year. King of Colosseum was held in July of this year, but I did not put it into the schedule. Also, the times for the shows are roughly based off of YouTube but I gave Battle Riot and Opera Cup an extra 30 minutes for some flair and fluff. I debated giving War Chamber the 1 Hr 30 min time but the AI doesn't automatically book certain match types so unless you're running with them, no War Games match for that show. A lot of these shows also need first time or updated logos. This isn't 100% accurate, but I feel it helps tighten them up a bit.**

    11/18/19

**After combing through, maybe take out MLW Spring Break and slot it in with Battle Riot? Then, you can move King Of Colosseum to July. Spring Break was Joey Janella's deal.

Battle Riot may need a history to it. I'll get those details later when I'm on my laptop.

I noticed Tag Teams in AEW need to be set for the company. The only ones at the jump are the Young Bucks if I'm not mistaken.

    ROH Signings:

    Dan Maff - 2 Years - PPA - Face

    Flamita - Undisclosed- Face

    MLW Signings:

Alicia Atout signs as a backstage announcer

*Tom Lawlor will not re-new his contract. He is set to leave in January. Set to Expire in 1 Month.*

MLW also needs tag teams to be set. Ross and Marshall Von Erich especially as they are the tag champs.

    11/19/19

    Battle Riot for April*

Battle Riot 2018 Winner: Tom Lawlor (July, Week 3)

Battle Riot 2019 Winner: LA Park(April, Week 1)

    Kings Of Colosseum for July*

**Before I forget the "biggest" piece of news, does CM Punk get placed in the database as a 'Personality/Non-Wrestler'? I haven't done it myself just yet but was just putting out the feeler.**

The next update will be out Tuesday at some point.

Also wouldn't people also want to play as AEW from the beginning which would be a week before this?

Oh, for sure. I know I will be playing with AEW with this months release, but I have a feeling that the most meaningful moves are going to happen during/after the draft with WWE. Maybe even AEW has a surprise or two in the two weeks while this is happening. In any case, I just wanted to put out the consideration for it is all. Will still be downloading and playing regardless lol Looking forward to the release!

  5. Hey @TheWho87

With the draft happening on the 4th and 11th, would you maybe considering dropping the October update afterwards?

I believe with the two extra weeks, this save can be the start of a "new chapter" save so-to-speak. While it may not be the Monday Night Wars (nothing will compare), there are interesting things happening across the board in the wrestling world! Just wanted to leave as a suggestion.

  6. The new announce teams for Raw, SD, and NXT were announced today.

RAW: Vic Joseph, Jerry Lawler, and Dio Madden

SmackDown: Michael Cole & Corey Graves. Renee Young is being labeled as a "Special Contributor". Maybe leave it up to the player to plug her in on commentary or make her a personality?

NXT: Mauro Ranallo, Nigel McGuiness, and Beth Phoenix

It's being noted that this essentially positions Smackdown as the "A" show where as Raw becomes the "B".

That was a bit odd to type and read back lol How the times are a' changin'.

  7. With NXT now officially moving to the USA Network for a live two-hour show, is it time to open them up as a playable third brand under the WWE umbrella? I guess I'm not sure what you would replace the developmental territory with, but this seems like they're acknowledging they've gone past the idea of it being developmental. I thought this would be a fair topic for discussion?

Shawn Spears is a heel in AEW. Dustin Rhodes is a face. Luchasaurus is a face. Leva Bates is a heel. Brandi Rhodes is a heel.

Add loyalties to AEW for Cody, Brandi Rhodes, Kenny Omega, and the Young Bucks.

Increase the popularity of AEW so it's at least Cult level and also capable of making TV deals with the broadcaster it already has a TV deal with in real life.

Alex Marvez  was born in 1965.

Fix Menace stats for, well, practically everyone in the game. Currently Jack Evans and Allie are both more menacing than Ace Romero or Luchasaurus for example.

    AEW

-For loyalties, I set Cody, Brandi, Bucks, and Adam Page. I left Omega to None for a couple of reasons: I, personally, think he makes the jump if AEW doesn't get to where they hope to be. Also, he has a year shaved out of the others with 4  years while the others are locked in at 5.

-I would also set a Loyalty to Tony Kahn as well.

-I bumped the popularity of AEW up to 55% in Great Lakes and South West, bringing them up to Cult.

    WWE

-Going off the sheets and because, why not, I maxed out the Undertaker's contract to 10 years and set Loyalty to WWE. His unwavered loyalty is something that is a very rare trait, in any line of sports and entertainment.

-Maybe replace Kapoor with Paul Heyman as Booker? Bischoff apparently isn't doing much on the creative side, thus pretty null and void for game purposes.

-Simone Johnson, daughter of The Rock, has been training at the Performance Center. Add to database?

-Injury: Bobby Lashley had bone spurs removed from his elbow, estimated to be out until November.

    AAA

-Cain Velasquez debuted for AAA at Triplemania. He is rumored to be doing more matches this year. Add to database?

    MISC

-SWA (Storm Wrestling Academy) is closing it's doors.

I checked the download file and everything is as it should be. Did you just drag and drop the DATA folder into your EWR folder?

I'm not basing it directly off of the movies. I have MCU in there just so the initial start up game is a group of people that everyone would be somewhat knowledgeable of the roster.
If anything, the staff would be the more behind the scenes types i.e STan Lee, Jack Kirby etc as writers but I also have the likes of Happy Hogan and Pepper Potts as staff members.

The hardest part with adding workers in the future is who to determine to put in and who has no use of being in there. I have a bulk of the main players already just unsure as where to go from here.

Thanks for the input though. Everything is appreciated.

Well, I couldn't play it because I have TEW 🤣Whoops. I didn't pay attention to the tag. I was wondering why there were multiple files haha. Ah, man, that's a bummer.

But, since this is pretty cool and your trying to pull it together, I don't mind continuing on with suggestions and the like!

I haven't played EWR in a long while so I forget what the setup/layout for all characters and their roles in the game.

With Stan Lee & Jack Kirby having passed, are you keeping them alive in this universe or trying to keep it "current"? If there are Year End Awards, maybe you can make awards after them?

To fill out the writers, here are some names you can run with (I tried to stray away from DC writers, but some of these guys bounce between both so I gave them consideration just to pad it out)

    -Jim Starlin (The Infinity Gauntlet)

    -Jonathan Hickman (The Fantastic Four)

-John Bryne (Days of Future Past, Dark Phoenix)

-Mark Waid (Spider-Man, Doctor Strange, S.H.I.E.L.D.)

-Ed Brubaker (Uncanny: X-Men, Daredevil, Secret Avengers)

    -Fabian Nicieza (Thunderbolts, Daredevil)

    - Christopher Lost & Craig Kyle (X-23)

-Brian Michael Bendis (Ultimate Universe/Ultimate Spider-Man)

    -Louise Simonsen (X-Factor, New Mutants)

    - Brian K. Vaughn (Runaways)

    -Peter David (The Incredible Hulk)

    -Chris Claremont (X-Men)

    - Al Ewing (Immortal Hulk)

    - Jason Aaron (Thor/Avengers)

    - Donny Cates (Venom)

    -Ta-Nehisi Coates (Captain America/Black Panther)

    -Mariko Tamaki (X-23)

-Ryan Spencer & Nick Ottley (Amazing Spider-Man)

-Phil Brooks 😏 (Drax the Destroyer)

The titles in the parentheses are the comics they have written or were define by. Also, there is a power ranking but I forgot to do that as I was writing, I'd be happy to help flesh them out if you choose to go this direction. All of these writers are Marvel writers, for the most part.

Also, I'd give Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan a manager or personality role? Could I suggest maybe diving into SHIELD agents as backstage personnel? I assume Nick Fury is an active character/authority figure?

I hope this finds you well and I'd be happy to continue to help along the way if you'd like.

  10. Hey man,

Just browsing the threads and this caught my attention. I downloaded the file but it didn't work. All of the files for the DATA we're separated so I don't think the game recognized it?

In any case, based off your description here regarding staff, why not get the writers/illustrators of either the movies and/or comics for personnel. Also, bring in Bruce Campbell's Ring Announcer and add Bonesaw McGraw as a wrestler maybe? (If they're in there already, disregard)

Are you strictly going for the MCU/actors presence or is it kind of open ended?

  11. Thanks for the continued updates, Who.

    Suggestion:

Workers -Change Brett Matthews (Name/Moveset/etc. - where needed) to Matt Cardona - Zach Ryder uses his real name for the MWF Podcast and I think it would be easier to navigate.

Workers - Change Simon Grimm to Simon Gotch

    WWE/NXT:

NXT - Remove Stacey Ervin Jr.

NXT - Change Brennan Williams name to Dio Maddin

NXT - Add: Denzel Dejournette, Jordan Omogbehin, Mars (Wang), Omari Palmer

    MLW:

-Add Georgia Smith as a Personality/Announcer?

-Kenn Doane and Mike Mondo (The Spirit Squad) have signed with MLW

    ROH

-Alex Shelly is returning for a title match. I don't know if it's a full-time return though. Maybe set him as Semi-Active.

    AEW

-Chris Van Vliet has signed on with AEW as a backstage announcer (Personality)

*Will add throughout the month as I play through*

  12. The AEW Roster seems to be on point. I'd like to suggest maybe adding Bret in there, only considering he did present their belt (and because, I'm 100% biased when it comes to the Excellence of Execution)

Maybe add "Loyalty to" tags to Cody, Brandi, The Young Bucks, and Adam Page? I know Omega should probably be in that group, but I can also see Omega maybe making the jump to WWE depending on the future of this brand.

Contracts seem to be half-written/half-PPA. Here's what I gathered:

    Cody & Brandi: 5 Years

    The Young Bucks: 5 Years

    Adam Page: 4 Years

    Kenny Omega: 4 Years

    Chris Jericho: 3 Years

Jon Moxley: 3 Years (His, Omega also Jericho, all have the NJPW/indie options. I know it's not exactly a formal working agreement yet, but could we mull over having AEW in a working relationship with NJPW?)

    Joey Janela: 3 Year PPA

    SoCalUncensored: 3 Years

    Penta/Fenix: PPA
