  1. So thoguth us comic fans should gather and have a thread so we can discuss the latest comic news and titles.

    I am currently reading:

Young Avengers - This title is quality and is refreshing and was not what i was expecting dispite me having bad thoughts at first and being only 5 issues in its ace.

Ultimate Spiderman - Now this title takes alot of stick but i think its quality especially with the recent return of Hammerhead its starting to pick up. Yes i no the Hobgoblin Arc was bad with Harry Osborn being the Hobgoblin but with the Kingpin "gone" from the crime scene and the Hammerhead back i think Ultimate Spidey is on the way up again.

    So What Are You Reading?

  2. Birmingham boss Steve Bruce said he was delighted to have beaten off competition to sign Mikael Forssell.

The 24-year-old Finnish striker completed his £3m move from Chelsea to Birmingham on Friday.

Bruce said: "Mikael has always been my number one target. I am delighted that we have got him here.

"Nine clubs were after him, and the reason so many teams chased him was because of what he did a year ago playing for Birmingham."

Forssell held talks with Everton about a move to Goodison Park, but when they stalled on a deal Bruce made sure he got his man.

"As soon as we knew he was available, we had to act," he added.

"We all know what he can do for us, we saw him score 19 goals for in a Birmingham shirt, and I am sure he can do that again.

"He's the type of footballer that everyone would want to have at their club, not just because of his football ability, but the way he conducts himself on and off the pitch as a professional."
